Rico feels the weight of separation as he feels the growing distance between him and his best friend Son. Although Rico considers Putra as a close friend, but the Son does not feel the same because the wounds and pain from the past are still felt at any time.

The son shook his head, "It can't erase all the wounds and pain you left in the past. I don't know if I can forget everything you told me."

Rico felt his heart break at the Son's words. He never meant to hurt his best friend, and he doesn't know how to fix their relationship now.

Rico felt grateful for the support and advice from Lia. He promised himself to remain beside the Son, though sometimes it was difficult and painful. She wants to give her best friend the time she needs, even if it means sacrificing her own desires.

A few months passed, and Rico remained faithful to support the Son from a distance. He gives his best friend room to heal himself and cope with his own feelings.

One day, Rico receives a short message from the Son, "Can we meet?"

The son looked doubtful and anxious. "I want to apologize, Rico," he said in a stifled voice.

Rico gave a gentle smile, "There is nothing you should ask for forgiveness, Son. I just want to be your best friend like I used to be."

The son shook his head, "I know that you are trying to be a better man now, but I still feel hurt by your past. I'm trying to forgive you, but it's hard for me."

"I understand, Son. I just want you to know that I miss our friendship so much. I'm ready to give you the time and patience you need" Rico said sincerely.

The son nodded, "Thank you, Rico. I may not be able to fully forgive you now, but I will try. We can start over and fill our future with good memories."

Rico was relieved to hear the Son's words. Although their journey towards rapprochement is still long, she believes that the Son's feelings will get better as time goes on.

The two of them started spending more time together again, just like they used to. Despite the awkward moments and lingering pain, they both strive to create new memories together and mend their bonds of friendship.

Lia smiled gently, "Rico, it's normal to feel jealous. But you have to trust me, my relationship with the Son is just friendship. I love you, not him."

"I know, Lia. I have to trust you completely" Rico said sincerely. "I just want you to know that I love you so much, and I don't want anything to ruin our relationship."
