Widia's birthday

Radit was my best friend and first love when I was in school. His distinctive laughter always made this heart flutter. Although actually I know my love is just clapping one hand but I really enjoy every togetherness that is always passed with him.

After a long separation I was reunited with Radit at the cafe where I worked. Awkward of course that's how I feel because he came with Widia.

Widia belongs to one school as well with me just that she and I have different classes. He used to be the prima donna of school, because his beautiful face a lot of adam who race to get the heart of the prima donna including Radit people who openly put their hearts on him.

After a short chat we exchanged numbers. Actually I had time to change my phone number because I wanted to move on from Radit but it turns out fate said something else. I even met with people in my past😌. Finally we exchanged mobile numbers with the reason to establish a friendship rope.

Today is Widia's birthday, the birthday of Radit. Lazy actually to just come to regret it anyway me and Widia not so familiar. We only greet each other if there is Radit around us. It was Widia who always started the conversation if she was with Radit. But if Radit disappears from my presence his true nature begins to show. He thinks as if I was just the wind passing by. Never mind being invited to chat at the glance enggak😏.

I wear a peach-colored dress combined with a matching colored blazer. Black hair my lap made curly the bottom, do not forget to apply makeup to look more fresh. Understandably in my daily life, I rarely wear makeup. It's not that I don't like it just that I can't do it.

My phone rang a sign of someone's incoming call. After I picked up Radit, he was waiting for me in front of the house. I glanced at the clock on the phone turned out to be seven at night. In a hurry I grabbed the small gift I had set up on the dresser and put it in my party bag. I immediately ran down the stairs because my room was on the top floor.

"Widiihh.. Who is it, really beautiful?" I glanced at my dad who was having a nice conversation with my mom in the living room. I don't mind the words papa can be long if you have to serve papa's speech.

"Mah. pa.. Alysa left for the anniversary event" I said while kissing the backs of my parents' hands. Mama frowned for a moment.

"Whose way?" papa was curious as it were.

"Dianter temen" I answered briefly. I immediately set my foot on the door. So that my parents don't linger holding me home.

"Now don't be lazy" cried mama from behind the door but I still heard it. I saw Radit standing next to his car. His appearance looks handsome in a black suit.

"Sorry for a long time" I said with a bad taste. Radit just kept quiet and didn't answer my words.

"With..?" I waved both of my hands on her face and it took her by surprise.

"Sorry Sa." said Radit shyly while scratching his neck. I don't know what Radit's thinking, I can only smile at his behavior.

"Yaudah went straight to yuk. Afraid to start the show" Radit nodded in agreement to hear my advice. He immediately opened the car door next to the driver to ask me to sit next to him. I was stunned just this time Radit treated me this sweet.

I timidly sat myself in the car seat, thanking Radit for the nod and sweet smile.

Arriving at the destination I was a little stunned apparently Widia's birthday party was held in a luxury hotel that is quite famous. I thought Widia was going to have a party at her house considering Radit once gave Widia's home address to me.

I'm a little insecure considering the gift I brought might not be anything. But let's not say that my gift won't mean anything to Widia lest it be kept dilirikpun will not.

Radit invited me to meet with Widia who looks cool chatting with my school friends first.

"Wid.happy birthday, yes" said Radit while giving a small gift that he took out of his pocket. Widia looks like she is hugging Radit tightly. I immediately averted my eyes, however, this heart felt tight when I saw a loved one hugging another. Moreover, that person was the one he liked as well.

"Thank you, Dit. have come to the birthday event I use all the gifts again" said Widia who has now released her embrace to Radit. Radit nodded and shifted his body to the side giving me a chance to wish Widia a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday, yes" I said as I extended my hand towards her. On his face was the aura of his dislike for me to the point that my outstretched hand was still floating in the air.

"OK. I put it here ya kadoku" I said as I walked towards the table displayed beside Widia's birthday cake.

"Wait.." Widia successfully stopped the movement of my hand when I was going to put a gift on the table.

"Remove.." cried Widia half-stomping. I scrunched my forehead 'what else is this' I murmured in my heart.

Widia took the gift from my hand with a bit of roughness. And looked at him with a look of disdain.

"Consider everything." cried Widia made the people who were at the party seem to turn their attention towards Widia.

"Today I got a birthday present from Radit's beautiful best friend, you introduce who he is?" widia said to my schoolmates. Of course they nodded in agreement with Widia's words.

"Because I am Alysa's friend as well, I will give the most special gift also for her" Widia explained making everyone seem to wait for the speech that will be issued by Widia next.

"Radit.. Can you stand beside me?" said Widia while glancing spoiled at Radit. Radit seems to be misbehaving. He walked towards Widia and stood beside her.

"And for my best friend Alysa, I will announce something very special for you, I hope you will receive a special gift from me yes" Widia said with a smile on her face.

I don't know why I don't feel good. I wanted to leave that place but it was too late.

"I will be a wife of Raditya Putra" said Widia who was greeted by riots from people who were at Widia's birthday party.

"What do you mean Wid?" radit asked with a surprised expression as well as me.

"Yes.my papa and your papa have agreed to our relationship and they have agreed to betroth us" hearing Widia's remarks made Radit again agape.

While I can only quietly endure the pain that came suddenly.

"How is it possible, don't you joke Wid?" radit said with an expression of disbelief.

"Truly Dit.. Why are you rich not so happy?" Widia looked at Radit with an unhappy look.

"It's not that Wid. It's just that it's too sudden, making me confused" Radit looked at me with a hard-to-understand look.

"Do you not like this matchmaking, or are you now in love with your best friend?" widia asked in an annoyed tone.

I was shocked to hear Widia's words. He looked at Radit and me in turn.

"We're talking about this next time, my papa hasn't told me anything about what you're saying Widia" hearing Radit's words made Widia emotionally choose to leave her birthday.

"Wid.. wait..!! radit shouted as he chased after Widia who had disappeared from the crowd.

I could only silently watch the two people leave from before me. Sick of course.. When I started moving on he came back and surprised me with news I didn't want to hear.
