Love For Nazyra

Love For Nazyra
Chapter 67

Since the bus that Nazyra was riding left, there was only a creepy silence that made Nazyra's scalp tingling.

The cemetery seemed to be shadowing him and looked terrifying. Nazyra felt very creepy, so she immediately pulled her luggage and walked in the opposite direction. As he stepped up, he pulled out his phone to call.

Just as he was about to call Ivanna, Ganindra's name appeared on his phone screen. Nazyra hesitated for a moment before replying.

A man's low, hoarse voice came from the other end of the phone, "Where are you?"

Nazyra checked the clock and found out that the competition must have ended. Ganindra must have known by now that she was gone.

He replied quietly, "I'm on my way back to City S."

"Why did you give up?". Ganindra asked straightforwardly.

Nazyra was only able to answer in a barely audible voice, "Personal reasons."

With that said, he meant that he was not ready to tell the real reason.

There was a momentary silence at the end there. Just when Nazyra thought that Ganindra had hung up, her voice broke the silence again, "Send me your location now."

Nazyra looked around her and she was thrown into a dilemma. He was afraid it would be too much to get Ganindra to pick him up here. But he also felt afraid of being in this foreign place alone nights.

"I'm on my way home but I don't really know where I am. If you want to find me, can we meet at the company tomorrow?"

"I've searched all the vehicles on my way back to City S. You're not in any of those vehicles."

Ganindra's voice sounded a bit distant and cold.

He's been searching all the vehicles? Nazyra sensed that something was wrong. He checks his missed calls and finds that Ganindra has called him repeatedly. The distance of the missed call was ten minutes after he left the competition.

Could it be that when he left the competition, Ganindra started looking for him?

Nazyra scanned her surroundings and decided to sit on top of her suitcase under a lamp post.

When Nazyra was feeling very bored, suddenly the scent of flowers burst into her nose..When Nazyra recalled him near the tomb, she suddenly felt herself stiff. A chill started flowing down his back.

He raised his head in fear, and what he saw was a group of people dressed in black coming from the direction of the cemetery and they were carrying a photo of an old man. They walked forward while crying, and at the same time they spread flowers on the street.

There were about a dozen of them, and their presence in the darkness inflicted a sense of terror on the surrounding atmosphere.

Nazyra's entire body stiffened as she gaped towards them and saw the flowers strewn on the ground. He felt a strange tingling sensation in his heart.

Among the crowd, a middle-aged woman noticed Nazyra. He asked, "Children, why are you here alone in the middle of the night? There's a funeral ahead. Don't you feel scared?"

It would have been fine if the woman had not mentioned about the funeral. Now, Nazyra was really scared.

He gritted his teeth and shook his head, pretending not to be afraid.

"I'm waiting for someone."

"Oh, it's okay if it is. It is not good for you to stay in this place, especially at night. You better leave soon."

The woman gave him advice before rejoining the team. Nazyra was left standing there with a very bad feeling. The woman did not really give him any attention, instead making Nazyra even more frightened.

As he watched those people getting further and further away from him, silence once again descended around him. The only difference is that the ground is strewn with flowers.

From time to time, the night breeze would come and spread the fragrance of the flowers into the air.

In the deadly silence and the dark night, the strange atmosphere felt very creepy .

His call was instantly picked up almost instantly.

Nazyra asked nervously, "Sir Ganindra, where are you now? How long until you get here? ."

"Ten minutes."

The usual cool voice of Ganindra sounded. Then, he continued, "What's up?"

"There's nothing..."

"Your voice tells me something's wrong with you." Ganindra interrupted Nazyra's words.

Nazyra looked at the flowers scattered on the ground and started in a small voice after hesitating, "Actually, there is a cemetery nearby, and some people have just finished the funeral procession. I feel a little scared being alone in this place."

There was a pause on the other end of the phone, and then there was a teasing tone to Ganindra, "I thought you were someone brave."

Nazyra stubbornly denied after being underestimated by her, "I mean, I just feel a little scared. That's all."

"Yes, right. A little scared." Ganindra mimicked his words.

Nazyra did not want to confess regardless of his words. He was underestimated once again. He felt a little frustrated, "I'm on the side of the road, and there's only one way here. You'll be able to see me as soon as you arrive. That's it, I'll hang up now."

He will not continue this mockery with Ganindra or he will become angry.

Ganindra ignored him and interrupted once more, "have you thought about how you would repay my kindness?"

Although a few days had passed, but Nazyra was very busy. Nazyra really hasn't thought about it.

He paused for a moment before replying, "Sir Ganindra, I want to give you a small gift as a thank you. Is that okay ?"

Ganindra replied lazily, "What gift?"

"Do you have something you like?". Nazyra asked in a small voice while her mind raced.

Ganindra was rich and influential, so of course she almost had it all. She would not lack anything she was capable of, so Nazyra really could not think of anything she could give her.

In addition, the gift should not be too expensive, otherwise he would not be able to afford it.

"I like everything you like."

His voice was low and hoarse. It was seductive and alluring. Nazyra was dumbfounded by his words, and her heart immediately thumped . His mind became empty.

She said she likes everything she likes? . Why did he have to make everything sound so ambiguous??

With a reddened face, Nazyra replied, "Alright, I'll pick something for you."

"All right." Ganindra answered briefly.

Then, no one spoke for some time.

Nazyra felt her mind and heart fall apart. His mind was focused on Ganindra, but this disturbance managed to shake off his fear for now.

Just as he was considering whether to hang up the phone due to the awkwardness hanging in the air, Ganindra suddenly continued, "Follow with me when I go visit my grandmother next time."

Nazyra was stunned, Ganindra asked her to visit her grandmother at a time like this??
