Forgetting Death for a Moment

By morning, Aiden went to the back garden he had turned into a large swimming pool for the Sirens. He sat there and pensive.

He was faced with an unfortunate choice. Both are about the life that might soon be taken from one of them.

Aiden's hand threw a small stone into the pool and immediately the pool caused a longitudinal wave.

"Sirene, what should I do? I want us to live together" said Aiden, a monologue.

He was silent for a long time, only looking at the ripples of pond water caused by the morning dewdrop. Then, he made a quick decision.

Aiden immediately got up from the garden chair and walked towards the Siren room. That's the door to the room. "Sirene, can I come in?" said Aiden.

There's no answer. Aiden slowly opened the door of the Siren room and saw the girl still sound asleep, wrapped in a blanket.

Aiden smiled knot. He approached the Siren and rubbed the mermaid girl's shoulders gently. "Sirene, can you wake up now?" ask Aiden.

The sirens opened his eyes. "Aiden!" exciting Sirens. Suddenly, he got out of his bed and sat facing the man in blue pajamas.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" The siren asked with a worried and anxious look on his face.

Aiden shook his head. "There's nothing. Sorry I woke you up. I made up my mind" replied Aiden.

The throbbing inside the Siren's chest began to hurt again. "A decision about last night?" ask Siren. He looked at Aiden sharply.

"Yes, the decision about last night" said Aiden.

Sirens were inexhaustible, why Aiden's face looked so happy. What decision will he make?

"What have you decided?" The siren asked curiously.

A smile was engraved on the handsome face of the man. "I will let you enjoy the earth. We will travel, take a walk, visit the places you want to go, and you can ask me for anything. I also plan to apply for leave to accompany you," replied Aiden.

"How much time do you have left?" ask Aiden.

The siren shrugged both of his shoulders. "If based on the Meltem herb, the remaining 1 day. But yesterday, the Lord gave me extra time and strength to meet Hades" replied the Siren.

Aiden's eyes were perfectly rounded. "You want to see Hades? Wh-wh-what for? You said Hades was good at manipulating,"

"Yes, manipulating people. But not with our people, Aiden. He won't be able to. I just wanted to have a chat with him" replied Siren. He tries to convince Aiden that Aiden will allow him to meet with Hades.

Aiden's forehead wrinkled the sign he was thinking, shortly after, he nodded. "Alright, after we go for a walk" said Aiden.

The sirens agree with that. They are also getting ready to ride all day.

"Where are we going, Aiden?" ask the enthusiastic siren.

"I'm going to have an advanced barbeque, so we're shopping today. But, I don't shop here. We're going a little further. How's it?" ask Aiden to smile.

A smile was engraved on the face of the Siren that day looking beautiful by wearing a yellow dress laced with spaghetti on his shoulders. "I'm okay," replied the Siren.

"OKAY. By the way, where did you get those clothes? I don't think I've ever bought you a casual dress" asked Aiden again.

The siren looked at the yellow dress. "Oh, this is from Her Majesty the Queen as well as Miss Alesya. All I'm wearing now is Miss Alesya's dress" Siren replied happily.

Sirens do not have human clothes. Different from Lea. Lea was a human so surely she had a lot of clothes, as did Alesya.

The siren has a bikini-like body cover. When the Sirens came down to earth, his condition was weak and he did not accept Aiden, therefore, he did not have many clothes worthy of human beings.

"But it's beautiful for you" said Aiden, staring at the siren from the corner of his eye.

"really? You liked her? Thank you," said Siren.

Lately, the mermaid girl felt very happy because of Aiden's kind and gentle treatment to her.

But there is one problem, though, if Aiden continues to be kind to him then Siren's feelings for Aiden will grow bigger and Sirene feels it will be harder to separate from Aiden while the remaining time is only a few days left.

That's what's been confusing sirens lately. Apart from thinking about Hades, he also thought about the alley time left for him and the hardest thing was that he thought about his love for Aiden.

After noon at last, they reached a shopping mall that was a bit far away from the city where they lived.

They include sausages, beacons, red peppers, yellow peppers and green peppers. Do not forget they are looking for various types and sizes of meat and lettuce leaves.

They both enjoyed shopping that afternoon. Many people think they are a married couple who just got married.

"Well, you're so sweet" said one visitor when he saw Aiden and Siren together.

Neither Aiden nor Sirens deny people's statements. They just annoyed and smiled while saying thank you.

"What would it look like if we were really husband and wife, huh?" ask Aiden suddenly.

A red hue quickly crept across both cheeks of the Siren. "Are you going to marry me? I mean if I'm human" asked Siren.

"Of course I want to. Who wouldn't want a beautiful woman like you?" aiden replied, turning his face to hide his embarrassment.

Sirens down. Unfortunately, the sirens are not human. If only he were human, he would be very happy when he heard the answer from Aiden.

"Why are you silent?" ask Aiden.

The siren shook his head quickly. "Ah, I'm fine,"

"You tired? Want to rest first?" ask Aiden. His long hand reached out to a bottle of cold drinking water, then he opened it and gave it to the Siren.

Shireen shook her head again. "No need, Aiden. We'd better finish this then we'll have lunch after that we'll go back to prepare a party later tonight" suggested Siren who was immediately greeted with a nod of agreement from Aiden.

After they went shopping, Aiden bought her some clothes for Sirens. The sirens were happy because in the end he would wear his own clothes.

"If I had more time, I would try to work like Her Majesty the Queen so I could buy my own clothes" Siren said.

Aiden smile. "Let's just calm, you have plenty of time and I don't mind buying you clothes" Aiden replied.

They soon returned to their homes. On arrival, the siren helps Aiden to prepare for the barbeque party tonight.

Aiden sent a message to Anthem and Matt to get him to his place tonight.

Evening day came. The sirens looked stunning wearing the clothes Aiden had just bought.

"Well, you're beautiful, Siren," said Aiden, stunned by how beautiful the mermaid was.

Sirens jump small in excitement. "really? Thank you for this sweet dress, Aiden," the siren replied.

After all the preparations for the cooking were finished, before long, Anthem and Alesya came while carrying grilled corn.

20 Minutes later, Matt and Lea came up with a fizzy drink and some canned beer. The evening party was very lively even though it was only attended by 6 people.

Lea who had seemed worried about watching Aiden carefully. Like there's something weird about Aiden.

"What the hell is that? You look at Aiden with a strange look" Matt said.

"There's nothing. I was just suspecting something but I hope my hunch is wrong" Lea replied.

Matt follows Lea's views but he is unable to find out what is wrong with Aiden. Unlike Lea, in just one look, she was able to catch something that should not be there.

Quickly, Lea clutched Aiden's neck. "Get out of there!"

"Errhggh! The-the, the-the, why?" aiden asked in a stifled voice.

Everyone in the room screamed in fear.

"Your Majesty, ..." Siren said in surprise.

But Leah did not care about the fear of the Sirens or Alesya.

"I know you're in here, get out!" hatch Lea.

Aiden hits Lea's hand, but unfortunately Lea's strength when she is angry, cannot be controlled.
