chapter 10. flowers on the table

Like a weekday usually ALin headed to his study. After entering his study he was surprised to see his friends who were huddling around his desk somehow what happened there he did not know.

" morning guys...." ALin greeted his friend and broke up the crowd.

all the eyes in the room turned to him.

" ciiieeee ...who can get the morning bouquet from whom tuhhh?" one of his friends teases ALin.

Even Alin who did not understand felt confused.

" flower bouquet?"

ALin walked up to his desk and sure enough a bouquet of very beautiful red roses lay on his desk.

he was confused to see the flower, very beautiful and there was a small pink paper on it

Alin pulled the paper and opened it wanting to know immediately who sent the flower to his desk

But when he opened he did not find the name of the sender, just a sentence, he said,

" a beautiful flower for a special person"

ALin shook his head not wanting to bother thinking about it because he did not find the name of the sender.

he sat down to start his work.

Nia who was beside him approached the table of ALin.

" who's Lin from?" still curious

"there is no name" Alin replied without looking at Nia

" it looks like you have a secret admirer" Nia guessed

" who??"

" like the boss probably"

ALin who heard the words of the friend was shocked and immediately turned to him.

"hussshh don't gossip anymore ahh..."

ALin reminded Nia, she was afraid that later it would become hot gossip again among her friends.

He felt bad because the incident of lunch with his boss a few days ago had become a rumor that confused his head.

Fortunately only circulated among his team-mates did not get to the other floor, but even though only among his team-mates various questions from his colleagues managed to make him dizzy because he could not answer blakakan about his introduction to their leader.

In the midst of busyness ALin with his work his phone vibrates making him glance at the black object.

" how do you like the flowers?"

seeing the content of the message finally ALin knew ,

he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

In a different room Devan stared at his phone screen as if he was waiting for a reply from his short message.

long wait but not getting a reply

"does he not like it?"

"or is he angry?"

Devan guessed nebak himself while glancing right and left like a confused person.

"you why?" rayhan asked who felt strange about his boss's attitude from earlier.

" it's like people are in a daze" he added, putting down the food he brought to Devan because he had entered lunch and today they were not planning to go to the cafeteria.

"doesn't you like the flowers I love?" finally asked Reyhan after a few minutes of silence.

"maybe" Reyhan replied

" but why?"

"you really don't know that what you're doing is just going to cause trouble for him Dev "Ray is trying to explain

" you mean?"Dev still doesn't understand

" you think bro, you're the boss and he's just a regular employee, don't you think that's going to cause skewed gossip among other employees? although you actually like him but they don't know "Ray gave his boss an understanding.

" how does the cave go?"

" meet her somewhere else or to her apartment maybe and talk to her "Ray advises Dev.

Since the last few years Dev has been away from women ever since the incident between him and ALin but is it possible that it makes Dev look stupid about women? Rey muttered inwardly while shaking her head.

Alin's apartment is getting ready for bed because tomorrow he still has to work again.

suddenly there was a knock on the door from outside, he walked to the door to see who his guest was

" brother dev,? please come in" ALin invited in.

" what's wrong with dev's up here tonight?" ALin wanted to know the reason even though he was sure it had something to do with the flowers this morning

" sorry about the incident this morning" hesitantly Dev apologized because his whole life he had never said the word.Its selfish and arrogant indeed but that's a Devan who finally received input from Reyhan.

" forget it's not a big deal but if I may ask the same brother Devan do not treat me like that in the office area because it will be the talk of the office" ALin explained to Dev hoping that the man would understand his point.

" okay, that's not going to happen again" finally Dev Marasa was relieved to hear the answer coming out of the girl's mouth in front of him a thin smile was seen on Dev's lips he was happy because ALin was not angry at all at him.
