"Have you ever experienced the same thing before?" Glen asked as they were in the car heading home.
"Yes, when I was in high school. There used to be some thugs who almost hurt me. But luckily, I'm with..." Quinsy's story stopped. He could no longer continue his words. On the one hand she was not happy to tell another man in front of her husband, and on the other hand, Quinsy could no longer remember the deceased lover she loved so much.
"Why did you stop? Who were you with?" Glen asked curiously. Why did his wife refuse to continue the story, could it be related to other men?
"With Marvin, my late lover." Answer Quinsy.
Now Glen knows why Quinsy didn't continue the story. Glen pulled his car over, and removed the seat belt that was coiled around his body. Slowly the man took Quinsy into his warm embrace. It is difficult indeed to remove someone who has very long inhabited the recesses of our hearts. And Glen knew exactly how that felt. Because until now, he still can not forget the late home of his lover who died five years ago.
"What's wrong. I know how you feel. You don't have to forget it, you just have to open your heart for me. We are a couple now. And I hope, there's nothing else we should close to each other."
Quinsy looked up at Glen's face, there was a shady eye that always calmed the recesses of his heart. Eyes that are able to make him feel the same sensation when he was with the late Marvin.
When they arrived at Karren's residence, Glen immediately brought his wife into their room and told Quinsy to take a break. While he went to see Mr. Karren in the family room to discuss the problems of the people who attacked them in the fried food stall earlier.
Tok.shock.
"Sorry to interrupt your time Pa" Glen said, stepping in. Mr. Karren, who had wanted to leave the study, sat back in his chair.
"What's Glen?"
"Me and Quinsy had an attack while shopping for snacks outside earlier."
Mr. Karren widened his eyes, his old hands even clenched firmly. He got up and approached Glen who was standing before him.
"Then did Quinsy get hurt?"
"He's fine. Fortunately there were some residents who saved us and also the police who were on patrol came on time. So nothing bad happened to Quinsy." Obviously Glen and make Mr. Karren breathe a sigh of relief.
"Then what about you? Are you hurt?" Now Mr. Karren asked Glen's situation with an anxious look.
"You don't have to worry. This is my responsibility as your parents. Can you tell me the chronology of the incident?"
Glen tells from the beginning of himself and Quinsy arrived at the place until they decided to return, then the attack just happened without any words like extortion or robbery that usually occurs. Mr. Karren digested one by one the sentences coming out of Glen's mouth. The old man finally knew, if this must not be a forgery or robbery. Or rather, this incident leads to murder. Whether that's the target is Quinsy or Glen himself, clearly Mr. Karren has been able to find out who is behind all this. Only, he still needed evidence in order to counterattack the person.
"All right! I can find out who he is. You better get some rest, we'll talk about this in the morning."
Glen nodded and passed away from Mr. Karren's study. He really needs to lie on a soft bed to relax his bones that feel stiff. And what he most wanted to do was, immediately embrace the fragrant body of the wife.
Upon arriving in their room, Glen looked at Quinsy who was sitting while staring out the window. The wind that hit the girl's face made her unbound hair fly. And it adds to the sexy impression of Quinsy and Glen's eyes, making him want to immediately devour the neck of the level that seemed to call himself. Slowly Glen walked over, he peeked at Quinsy's back which was not covered in his pajamas.
"What's up, hem?"
"I'll miss the atmosphere here when we get back to New York tomorrow."
Glen turned Quinsy's body to face him. He held the girl's chin and kissed Quinsy's tiny lips briefly.
"You know we don't have to go back to New York if you don't want to. Soon a new company will be built in the country."
"I knew. But I don't want to see you exhausted every time you come home from abroad." Glen smiled and tightly hugged Quinsy's body. "Thank you for your understanding I love you."
Quinsy just smiled sweetly to reply to the man's words. Glenn spoke those words very often but never once did Quinsy reply. It was not that Quinsy did not want to open her heart to Glen however, she was not yet convinced of the feelings she was feeling. For Quinsy, the word I love you is not just on the lips, but must also come from the heart. Because it will be a solid foundation for their household.
Similarly to Glenn, he did not want to force his will so that Quinsy could repay his feelings. He wanted Quinsy to say the word I love you sincerely from his heart, not because of coercion, or the status they live. But it was really the feeling he felt for her.
"Come in! The wind outside is not good for your health. Tomorrow afternoon we must leave. When you're sick, this trip will be delayed." Glen said as he brought Quinsy in and closed the window.
SERIATE...
