20. Ask for Restu to Get Engaged

Just as dinner arrived, Zyan arrived at his house. After getting out of the car, he went straight in to clean himself up. And it was seen that the two masters, Marion Lukas Delwynn and Amanda were talking in the living room.

"What are you guys talking about, ma?" asked Zyan who was a little curious about the conversation his parents had that looked exciting.

"You're home, son?" ask Amanda.

"Yes, just now."

"Would Diana, uncle Joe's daughter, get married soon?" said Amanda.

"Oh yeah, is that really ma?"

"Yes, we have to go to the Philippines to attend her wedding in three months" Amanda said.

"Ma, we'd better continue discussing this later! Let your son clean himself first! Look at him looking tired!" lukas said he didn't want his wife to talk more.

"Ah yes okay. Quickly clean yourself up and get back down for dinner!"

"Yes well ma. I went to the room first, pa, ma." Zyan who was already feeling sultry immediately rushed to his room to shower and change clothes.

Zyan then went inside his room. The man finally took a shower. And before long he had come out dressed casually. His handsome face looked fresh and very cheerful. Without wasting any time, Zyan then headed to the dining room to eat together with his family.

They eat quietly. After dinner, the Delwynn family gathered in the living room to chat or discuss the company.

"How's your company doing, son?" ask Lukas while sipping his favorite black coffee.

"Still stable pa. And I think we can set up some branches in Manila in the next year" Zyan replied, checking his cell phone for a message.

"Why Manila, son?" ask Amanda who's a little curious.

"The color of my ancestors is there" he said. Amanda was so happy, because her son intended to open several branches of their company in Manila where he came from.

"But it's good to also open a branch of our company in Manila, because we also intend to spend our old age there" Lukas said.

"Oh boy, don't be too busy working! Remember also to take another 3 months off!" said Amanda.

"Yes ma, I know that." replied Zyan.

"Pa, I have this one I told you." The man seemed to take a deep breath before conveying his heart.

"Front day I want to get engaged to my girlfriend, Yasmine. I beg you and mommy to give us my blessing." Luke and Amanda were silent.

"I love Yasmine so much, bless us!" her door.

"Are you sure of your decision, son? Why rush?" ask Lukas.

"I'm sure pa. And I believe he's the best for me." Zyan reassured both his parents. He did not want everything he had planned to be in vain.

"No son, I don't approve of this engagement. Stay away from that woman!" Amanda was very angry at her son's wishes. She really disliked Yasmine. Especially after the show that night. Where Yasmine humiliates him for daring to bully the young lady of the Jackson family. Plus, Yasmine is always hit by unpleasant rumors. Amanda is worried that Yasmine will someday defame the Delwynn family.

After rejecting Zyan's wishes, Amanda finally goes to her room. He probably didn't want to argue with his son. Zyan was already very infatuated with Yasmine. Whatever people say about Yasmine, Zyan never believed her. Unless Zyan sees with his own eyes.

"Son, let your mama calm herself down first! We better talk about it tomorrow!" Luke tries to calm his son. He went to his room to see his wife.

Zyan was still pensive in the guest room. After all, the man will still try to seduce his mother to give her blessing. She could have been engaged to Yasmine without the blessing of her parents. Zyan loved his mother very much.

While in the room. Amanda sat pensively on her bedroom couch. His sight seemed empty, but the woman was thinking. He tried to find a way for his son to cancel the engagement.

"Here you go, don't think too much! Remember your health!" luke said as he hugged his wife from the side.

"I don't think, why does our son love that woman so much? What exactly did that model give our son pa?" said Amanda with trembling lips held back her anger.

"I know how you feel, baby, but our son has grown up. He can already choose and make his own decisions" Luke said wisely.

"No pa, I still disagree." Amanda refused. "He deserves a better woman than that model." For a moment these two fell silent without talking to each other. They both dissolve in their minds.

"Honey, let's get some rest!" luke broke the silence.

"Rest first pa, I still can't sleep!" answer Amanda while throwing your face away.

"I know about your feelings, baby. I know you really don't like that woman, baby. I promise you tomorrow I'll have people investigate the woman." - Luke.

"Is it true, pa? Are you really going to get people to investigate?" ask Amanda enthusiastically.

"Yes. But I have a condition?"

"What conditions?" ask Amanda ketus.

"Please promise to bless their relationship first. Let them get engaged. If the woman is shown to have bad intentions, I will get rid of her myself." Luke explains. Amanda was silent for a moment. She was thinking about her husband's words.

"Alright pa. I believe you," he replied later.

"I'll never let you down, baby. Let's get some rest!" take Luke who then leads his wife to bed to rest.

"At least I still have plenty of time to find out about the model's true identity." Luke's inner self.

While in his room, Zyan could only roll on his mattress. The man was still thinking of ways for his mother to like Yasmine. She was in a dilemma when it came to choosing between her mother or her woman. Because for Zyan, those two women were precious to him.

To get rid of her, Zyan woke up from his bed. And then went to the gazebo behind his house. He pensively himself there.

"Are you not sleeping?" luke said as he offered his son a cup of coffee.

"As you see pa?" answer's lethargic. Luke then sat himself next to his son. He sipped the coffee in his hand.

"27 years ago I had a little baby that I kept in this gazebo when he couldn't sleep" Luke said, wearing Zyan as a baby.

"But now he is an adult. He has even been able to choose his own life partner," he continued. While Zyan still faithfully accepted it.

"I will not restrain you and will free you to choose your own life partner. But I hope you've found out who he really is!" luke says, leaving Zyan alone. Zyan was only able to fall silent and digest the words of his papa.
