Chapter 21. Suspicious signs

In the morning, the sound of birds singing sounded simple.

Bella squirms her body. It feels so lazy to wake up.

Bella slept a little night than usual. Because she was busy with Antonio, her lover.

Lazily Bella woke up and went straight into her bathroom which was in her room.

Bella immediately did the routine of waking up her sleep, namely toothbrush and shower.

When Bella is done, get ready to go to her college. Today Bella wearing jeans combined with a sabrina shirt so that her shoulders look smooth white.

Bella closed the door to her room and went down the stairs to the dining room not far from the family room.

Mama Katie was busy preparing breakfast. And Papa Richard is already sitting at the dinner table. While waiting for breakfast to be ready, Papa Richard read the morning paper that had arrived.

Bella put her bag on a bench, and then she sat opposite Papa Richard.

Bella pulled out her phone. I saw a notification coming in. Bella's lips revealed a smile but her eyes remained fixed on her phone.

Papa Richard who was opposite Bella accidentally saw Bella who was smiling by herself. Papa Richard's forehead is slightly wrinkled.

Mama Katie who was done with making breakfast at the dinner table was sitting together at the dinner table. Today Bik Darmi makes yellow rice along with its side dishes. Katie's mom spooned rice to her husband and son's plate.

"Where's David? How come it hasn't come down yet? " ask Mama Katie with eyes looking at Bella.

The highlighted turned out to still be engrossed with his phone. This made Mama Katie a little bit upset plus she saw Bella even smiling herself.

"Ehemmmm...... Ummm...... " Papa Richard tried to distract his wife.

"Papa why? It's drinking orange juice, Pa! " Mama Katie offered her husband a glass of orange.

Papa Richard welcomed with pleasure. Then he codes his wife not to get mad at Bella. My mother Katie understood. Finally Mama Katie told Bik Darmi to see David in her room upstairs.

Not until Bik Darmi climbed to the top, David had already appeared at the end of the upper stairs. He came down the stairs and sat down next to Bella.

Bella is still smiling with her eyes staring at the screen. David grabbed his sister's arm. Bella turned to her sister.

"Tumben nih Papa and Sister have not yet left for the office! Bella usually eats alone with Mama!" write Bella on her notes and show her to David and Papa.

"Yes Brother again a little relaxed so can nemani Bella! " david said while shuffling Bella's hair.

Bella brushed off her brother's hand with a sullen face. Hair is already neat and even so messy again.

"Let's eat first! " said Mama Katie as if she broke up the two.

Bella feeds the yellow rice into her mouth. Yellow rice Bik Darmi is delicious. Bella loves. David also started his breakfast, followed by Papa Richard and Mama Katie.

After finishing breakfast, Bella is getting ready to leave for the campus accompanied by a very Mama driver. Bella tidied up her messy hair then she grabbed her bag and told Papa, Mama and her sister.

Meanwhile, Papa Richard and David still have not left for the office. This is because there are appointments with clients outside, so it will be inefficient if you have to go to the office first.

"What do you mean, Papa? David is lacking! " ask David back to his Papa.

"Papa mean, what about Bella's lecture? And Bella's friendship? Papa saw him, even playing hape and smiling himself! " obviously Papa Richard.

"Oh that.... safe, Pa! The school went well and well. Friendship is also good and mediocre." replied David casually.

"Emang Papa saw something in Bella? " ask David who is curious.

"It seems like lately Papa likes to see him staring at his phone and smiling to himself! Why is that, Vid? " ask Papa Richard who is worried about Bella's association.

David understood in what direction Papa's question was headed. She was actually confused as well as answering her Papa's question that. On one side of this Papa is worried about Bella's association. On the other hand David must keep Bella and Antonio's relationship a secret. I don't know until when. But it feels David has an instinct if in the near future it could be his sister and Antonio's relationship known to both parents.

"Maybe she's having fun with her friends, Pa! " answered David.

"Mrsa, Vid?! Does she have a boyfriend? Or is there a close friend? " ask Papa Richard who doesn't believe David's words.

"If that's what David doesn't know, Pa! " elak David as much as he could.

Mama Katie who just joined the family room couch followed the open voice.

"Yes really Pa.... This Bella now likes to smile for herself! Mom thought she had a boyfriend! " mama Katie's ceplos reinforces her husband's allegations.

"Let's find out, Vid! If so, who is that guy? We as parents should know dong! " papa Richard's orders instruct David to find out about Bella's friends.

"Alright, Pa! David's gonna find out about Bella's friends! " wanted, David was calm.

David became a little careless with his Papa's orders. He knows what happened to Bella. Bella is also not a child anymore that really must be considered. I think David should tell Bella about the situation at home.

Mama Katie is getting ready to go to her boutique. Mama Katie was changing clothes and tidying up her face.

"You should have time to accompany Bella at home, Ma! " said Papa Richard who suddenly entered the room. He also wanted to change his clothes.

"Yes, Pa! My mom has been a bit busy lately! It feels like next week you can relax, Pa! " sorry Mama Katie who feels also if she does not provide time for Bella. He can leave in the morning and come home in the evening.

Papa Richard just nodded his head. He's neatly dressed in his light blue shirt paired with his black pants. Papa Richard still looks handsome at his age who is not young anymore.

Mama Katie was done getting ready and called Mr. Agus to get ready for the boutique.

Papa Richard and David were getting ready to go to a restaurant that had been booked by their client.
