Love Young Miss

Love Young Miss
Chapter 1

"Ciiiit!" The car brakes squeak. A woman fell on the sidewalk, almost stuck in a car body.

The car's windshield is lowered, "If the road looks around!" snapped Sarah from the car she was in.

Terry got out of the car, a handsome man with a sturdy body able to make the women who walk on the sidewalk stop to look at him, instead of looking at the woman who was almost hit by a car. He approached the woman who had fallen on the sidewalk. His arms were extended to help him stand up. But the woman refused, trying to stand on her own with the help of the pole next to her.

"Are you okay?" Terry asked the woman who had multiple blisters on her legs and hands due to the accident. His shoulder hair was tangled in a mess covering part of his face.

Sarah got out of the car disturbed, "Terry, it looks like she's okay. Just a few minor injuries." His voice turned soft while talking to Terry, much different when he was yelling at the woman.

"Mrs, how are you?" Terry asked again.

The shabby woman in front of him was still trembling, then she slowly stood up while holding on to the signposts next to her. Then tidied the hair that was messy on his face. Just a moment ago made Sarah surprised to see who the figure in front of her.

"Linda's? You Linda?" asked Sarah in disbelief, she looked at the woman before her from toe to toe in disgust.

Terry looked at the woman's face. It was indeed at first glance similar to his former fiancee, but he could not believe it. That woman is so skinny and pathetic.

"Are you Linda Chen?" For the third time Terry asked and did not get an answer from a woman who turned out to be right named Linda.

Linda, Sarah's half-sister, and Terry's former fiancee. His appearance now really made people not believe that it was him, the legitimate heir of the Chen family. But with her faded clothes, disheveled hair, unkempt dry skin, and thin body, who would have thought that she was Linda Chen?

"Linda, where have you been all this time?" sarah's voice softened to show compassion.

Linda squeezed her clothes in fear, "i have to go."

"Take this and go to the hospital to check your wounds." Terry held out a few pieces of money.

"No, thank you. I'm fine."

"Linda come on, at least take the money to buy some food. I'll add it for you." Sarah adds some money and forces Linda to accept it.

"Terry, we gotta get going." Sarah looks at her watch to show that their time is limited.

"Linda, do I need to take you to the hospital?" Terry felt sorry for his condition.

Seeing her, Sarah grew impatient and immediately pulled Terry's arm. "We can miss the plane."

Terry got back in the car and drove to the airport. They had to go to Island K on business. While Linda was still standing and looking down with holding the pole.

Along the way, Terry is still wondering about the condition of his former fiancee. What the hell happened to him? Linda is indeed a low-self and stupid woman, but how could her condition be so alarming now. Yet he was still the same as before, inferior and stupid.

"Poor Linda, three years ago she decided to leave the house with another man. I was so sorry to see her condition." Sarah looked at the window, then smiled.

Terry was silent, not responding to Sarah's remarks, his gaze straight ahead while holding the wheel. All Terry knows is, a few years ago Linda left the Chen family home and broke off her engagement unilaterally. At that time, his position was abroad. He didn't complain about it either because he didn't like Linda. The engagement took place due to the matchmaking of the two great families of Chen and Huang.

He walked to the nearest hospital. He decided to use the money he had in his hands for treatment, the rest will be bought food for the next few days because with his condition now he will not be able to work.

During this time Linda worked odd jobs, anything she would do to earn money. Being a laundry worker at a restaurant, ironing in laundry, cleaning the house of his neighbors, and other menial jobs. He was often dismissed from his job for being too careless. The last time he broke a number of dishes while working in a restaurant. Salary is not obtained, instead Linda must replace it with some money. All the menial work he did was to survive and support his sick uncle, as well as his college nephew.

Stupidity and carelessness that he got after having an accident. The accident caused her to lose her memory. What has not changed is his high self-esteem and hard-working spirit despite living in poverty.

"Braak." Linda's body fell right in the hospital lobby, she collapsed.

"Sister, how are you? Where is the sick?" Alan seemed worried about seeing the condition of his cousin. He immediately arrived after receiving a call from a nurse at the hospital.

"Look, just a minor wound."

"How could it be a minor wound, look at the bandage on your head."

"It's just an old wound that's a little bit open." Linda tried to calm her sister. It turned out that his head had hit which caused his old wound to open slightly. Wounds from an accident five years ago that caused her to lose her memory.

"Hey, how did you get here?"

"Someone called me using your phone, he said my sister was in the hospital, and then I came here immediately."

"I'm fine now. You can go home and take care of uncle. It's time for dinner."

Alan's father has an unhealthy body, everyday he relies on Alan to take care of him.

"I'll go home, then come back here to bring my sister's change of clothes. What do you want your sister to eat? I'll buy it later."

"No need, you will get a decent meal from here" Linda said, calming her sister.

"Alright, Brother. I'll be right back."

After Alan died, Linda tried to sleep. He hopes to recover soon and be back at work. But suddenly his head hurt like it was about to break. Cold sweat soaked his palms and feet. Linda closed her eyes and flashed a shadow of the pieces of events before the accident five years ago. Inadvertently, Linda's memory has returned due to the impact on her head.

He still closed his eyes. Tears burst out, racing with the memory coming out of his memory box. All made sense, things that had been out of his reach because of his lost memories.

During Linda's memory loss, her life became very miserable. His sister and stepmother easily turned the situation around and drove him from his own home. Then Linda lived with her uncle who had fallen into poverty, moving from one contract to another. Unable to deal with the pressure, his uncle's body became weak and sickly.

Linda stared at the ceiling of the hospital, "how miserable my life has been all this time. Five years is enough for you."
