Kanaya tried to rise above her slump, she tried to make everything even though it was hard for her.

He had thought of wanting to end his life so as not to experience life as it is now but he even dreamed of being visited by the father for the spirit of life to make him rise again.

If she is not pregnant she may still be able to forgive Arkan but if she contains the seeds then Kanaya will demand to marry even though Arkan already has a wife.
