LUTH'S LLAMAR

LUTH'S LLAMAR
Passage

“Oweeekk... Oweeek..

Emran's crying was loud.  Emran has been crying since.  Because the boy looks tired.

Luh was surprised and immediately opened his eyes.  He woke up from a dream.  Gegas Luth rose from sleep and grabbed the body of Emran who was asleep by his side.  He scratched the little guy's body.

Last night, Luth was sleep-deprived because returning from Hud's house was two in the morning.  Then he woke up at four o'clock as Emran cried for milk.  Make milk for the little one.

“Lyn!” call Luth while walking out.

Where's Lyn?  Why don't you wake Luth up?  why not take Meran?  It's seven o'clock, Luth's bad luck.

Luth didn't find Lyn all the way to the kitchen.  Even in the back of the house where the clothes were hanging, Lyn was nowhere to be seen.  Alisha is seen drying clothes.

“What's up, Luth?” alisha asked to see Luth standing at the kitchen door.  “Sini, let mommy carry.  You make milk for your child!”

Luth obeyed his mother's words.  He rushed to make milk for his son.  He soon returned and gave a bottle of milk to Alisha who was sitting in the back garden chair of the house, not far from the clothesline.  The golden light touched the baby's skin. It sucks up the milk it is given voraciously.

“Where is Lyn?  How come you haven't seen him since this morning?  He usually wakes up early in the morning and is busy in the kitchen.  But this is invisible.  Didn't you wake up from fatigue?” alisha asked as she gazed towards the strong-looking emran suckling through the pacifier bottle.

Luth was listening to his mother's question.  Tumben Lyn wasn't busy in the morning, didn't even wake Luth up.

One thing Luth realized, since last night, he came home at two in the morning, he did not see the whereabouts of Lyn.  Then he put the body of Emran who had fallen asleep on the bed.  Four o'clock in the morning, when Emran wakes up and Luth makes milk, Luth doesn't see Lyn either.  At dawn, Luth prayed and did not see Lyn.  Luth assumes that Lyn is in the bathroom, or is teaching in another room as usual for fear that his voice bothers Meran, so he does not think much about it.  This morning, Lyn was nowhere to be seen.

Luth went inside.  Looking for Lyn's whereabouts.  All the rooms he entered, but still he did not find Lyn.

Luth was silent in the living room.  Realizing that Lyn isn't home.  I don't know where that woman is.

“Luth, why do you look so upset?”  Alisha appears holding Emran.

“Lyn is not at home,” Lut.

“You mean?”  Alisha still can't catch what Luth said.

“Lyn go.”

“Go how do you mean?”

“Lyn left home,” explains Luth.

Luth can't answer.  He also did not understand what to say.

“Why Lyn go?” ask Alisha confused.  “Where to go?

“I also don't know.”

“But what made Lyn go?  You guys got a problem?” search Alisha.

“Lyn did not obey my words to not have to find extra money.  I forbid him to write, because that would only deprive him of his duty to look after Emran.  And true, Emran fell while he was busy with his writing business,” explained Luth.

“Then you were angry with him?” ask Alisha.

“The wife who does not obey the husband is not a proper wife.  He's defying me!” Luth regretted the incident.  But he still reveals what he feels.

“Can't you talk about this well?”

“Already.  I've talked about this well before, so that he should not be busy and negligent because of hape.  But he broke my words.”

“Astaghfirullah, Luth.”  Alisha is sitting down.

“Bu!”  Luth approached his mother.  “Mother is okay?”

“Mother sad.  Why Lyn must have this.  He would definitely not leave if the pain he was experiencing was not severe.  Maybe the pain was already heavy, so he chose to go.”

“Mother defends Lyn?”  Luth's disappointed.

“Does from the results of writing, Lyn get a big income?” ask Alisha.

“I heard from his talk so.”

“That means the problem lies not in Lyn's busyness interfering with her filial routine, but the problem is with you, who feel inferior when your wife has everything. You demand that Lyn accept you for who you are.  So that he lives life on the line of simplicity.  And Lyn has proven that she is sincere, sincere and willing to accept the situation.  But why can't you understand him?  Hasn't Lyn's sacrifice been enough all this time?  Is it all less for you?” ask Alisha in the shade.

Luth was silent, closing his eyes for a moment, massaging his temples which began to throb.
