Armand nodded in satisfaction. "Indeed you shouldn't be able to pay your debts means you have to obey our orders."
The couple did not dare to argue.
"Now I'm asking for something else, a few months ago before the hospital owner's son took over, did you guys cooperate with the accounting team?"
The couple stared at each other and shook their heads together without looking at Armand.
Armand, who was looking at them, smirked. "Ah, you don't know?"
The couple still did not answer.
Armand grabbed the man's wife's hair. "Don't know or won't answer?"
The man's wife was frightened while crying. "No, I don't know anything."
The husband just looked down in fear.
The intimidating Armand tighter grabbed the woman's hair. "Don't know anything?"
"Right, I-" the man's wife fell silent in fear and heard a familiar voice.
Armand and the man's wife turned their heads.
The husband was scared to bedwetting.
Armand pushed the woman hard and intimidated the man. "So, only you know?"
The man shook his head in fear. "I swear, I know nothing. I'm just-just-"
"Give me an honest answer so I can judge for myself."
The man glanced at his wife who was back on her knees then at Armand.
"Will not answer? It's okay."
The man knew, Armand was not a good man who could say that. The man with a trembling tone, said. "Sa-I really don't know, but I was told to meet with the accounting of one of the hospitals that procured a massive drug."
Armand frowned.
"I put in a proposal and they were interested in my proposal, with a reward for people who could put me in."
"What have you given them?"
"Money according to the provisions."
"How much?"
"I forgot but the documents are there, right now the documents are in the bank."
"Continue?"
"I remember accounting had asked for the lowest price, I had refused because the price I gave was much cheaper than any place."
"Why did he ask for the cheapest medicine?"
"To be mark up with the normal purchase price and he gets a lot of profit."
Armand raised one of his eyebrows.
"He advised me to give reject drugs so that I did not lose much. But I refused it! I could swear!"
The wife stared sadly at her husband who was tempted by bad things. "My husband, what if the hospital investigates and demands our efforts? How do we get all the debt back?"
The husband just shook his head helplessly. "A-I had no choice because the amount of money was so tempting, accounting was smart talk."
Armand took a breath and spoke in an impatient tone. "Continue and let no one be left behind."
The wife covered her face with both hands, disappointed with her husband's behavior.
"Bring all the papers, I'm waiting." Armand's orders while sitting leaning on the chair and staring coldly at the two of them. "I want to see it now."
The man nodded in fear.
--------
Later that night, Erina read the documents Adair had given her, her face furrowed furiously and speechless.
Rei who was standing at the back, shook his head in disbelief. Even a man who claimed to be the uncle and family of an orphan, dared to do something as dirty as this."
"Where did you get it?" Press Erina to Adair.
Adair who sat leaning on the sofa and faced Erina, replied casually. "It doesn't matter where I get it from, it's important to solve the problem now."
Erina thinned her lips then handed it to Rei. "Is this letter genuine?"
Rei nodded without hesitation. "The paper used is a special paper ordered by the hospital, then there is a stamp and an original signature. Looks like we should give up."
Erina massaged his forehead. "Rush up? I should give up on a situation like this?"
Rei stared helplessly at Erina. "Miss, the problem is the case first appeared in our hospital. This is evidenced by some reject drugs purchased by the victims, fortunately the bpom check all drugs thoroughly so we are not too blamed.
"But if we raise this case in public, it will be caught we buy reject drugs. The public will not believe in the hospital, not the management. While we still have to pay the salary and also some debt."
Erina sighed.
Adair nodded in agreement. "It doesn't need to be publicly disclosed, which is important we know and can take one step forward."
Erika still disagreed with Rei's argument. "The sign is the accounting, uncle. It must be uncle who will be blamed if the public finds out."
Adair shook his head slowly. "Don't be naive, Erina. If the hospital blames only one party, then there will be others who try to hide to find safety or even suppress you."
"Press me?" Erina asked did not understand at the beginning and then looked up when she understood what Adair meant. "They're going to sue me and assume I can't manage management just because they blame one party who's clearly at fault?"
Rei nodded silently while Adair replied with a sad smile.
Erina was speechless, her uncle was too cunning to rob the hospital money and she got into a trap easily.
Adair looked at Erina. "I can help you."
Erina raised her head then shook her head helplessly. "Thank you but-I think getting this is enough."
Adair raised both eyebrows. "What do you mean enough? Don't you want to fight them?"
Erina's head was down. "I-i"
Rei understood Adair's intentions and gave advice. "Miss, what if we just get some help from you?"
"But I don't want to bother, Adair."
"You're not bothering me. I'd love it if you would accept my good intentions, even if you're my future wife and I can't just turn a blind eye."
Erina knew Adair would never bother her, but the problem was dependency. Erina has that ugly trait.
Adair gave his input. "Everyone knows you're a spoiled child and squanders a lot of parents' money, no one knows your achievements because it is covered with the greatness of the older brother who is the heir. Erina, right now you only have me."
Erina stared firmly at Adair. "Then what do you get by helping me? I don't have anything I can give."
"Your body."
"Yes?" Asked the surprised Erina, Rei was also surprised by Adair's reply.
Adair smiled cunningly. "I want your body, Erina."
