Ardiaz and Andrea's engagement begins. On stage both Andrea and Ardiaz have been accompanied by their parents. The families of both sides looked equally happy. Up ahead Ardiaz began to attach the ring to Andrea's finger. Applause echoed when the ring was embedded in Andrea's tapered finger. Andrea showed off the ring that was already coiled on her finger to the audience present at the time.
At her place Aruna tried to smile. As vigorously as she refrained from crying and she succeeded. Zanna is helping him a lot right now. The baron standing not far from her continued to watch Aruna smiling. Baron was very sure deep down in Aruna's heart the deepest he was very sad.
It was Andrea's turn to put the ring on Ardiaz's finger and again a boisterous applause echoed after the ring had been coiled in her hand. Unlike Andrea who showed off the hand that had been embedded in the engagement ring, Ardiaz just smiled towards the invitation.
The host asked the new couple to kiss. Again Aruna had to swallow the bitter pill because of seeing the scene of intimacy between Ardiaz and Andrea. Lucky for him because Ardiaz only gave Andrea a kiss.
Although disappointed but Andrea still showed a sweet smile. He did not want people to know that this engagement was only wanted by himself alone.
After the ring exchange event, invited guests are welcome to enjoy the snacks that have been provided. Aruna single-handedly chose the food she wanted to taste, Harmony and the other friends had already picked up and were now sitting together at one of the tables.
While putting brownies to the plate, Ardiaz came to him.
"Arune... Can we talk?" asked Ardiaz who of course mengangetkan Aruna, fortunately the cake he took did not fall.
Aruna nodded.
"Follow me" said Ardiaz then walked first and Aruna followed. Without them noticing the Baron saw the incident and quietly followed. Previously he had confirmed that Andrea was still busy entertaining friends of his father so as not to disturb Ardiaz and Aruna who seemed to be solving their problems.
Aruna and Ardiaz sat in the garden in Andrea's house. The garden contains beautiful lights. Fortunately, no one was there because they were enjoying the food provided by the Qabil family in Galen City.
They sat there for a long time without anyone speaking first. They are drowning with their own thoughts.
Hem.
Ardiaz seemed to set his throat before speaking.
"Aruna, I'm sorry that after grandma left I couldn't see you" Ardiaz said.
Aruna who was looking straight ahead then turned to look at Ardiaz who also looked at him. Aruna did not answer anything, they only looked at it for quite a long time.
Aruna realized because so long looked at the face of a friend who was so missed. He turned his gaze back to the front before answering Ardiaz's words.
Aruna could even smile. Zanna was really helping him at the moment.
"No need to apologize. I understand because you are busy taking care of your engagement preparations" Aruba said later.
"You're not mad at me? Honestly I can't calm down, but there's something and another that I can't tell you. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you directly about my engagement" Ardiaz said regretfully.
Aruna shakes.
"I'm fine. There's no need for you to tell me directly" Aruna replied smiling.
Deg.
Ardiaz is electrocuted.
She felt sad because Aruna looked ordinary. Ardiaz felt that Aruna no longer considered him important and special. Ardiaz used to feel so needed by Aruna, but now Aruna can be without him. Ardiaz again felt sad and happy at the same time.
Ardiaz continued to look at Aruna's face which tonight looks so beautiful. Ardiaz was very fond of Aruna, whether it was a feeling between a man and a woman or Ardiaz considered Aruna as his own sister. He doesn't understand it either. He sure loved Aruna very much.
Aruna turned back to Ardiaz. They look at each other. If it could be heard maybe the heart thump both could beat the sound of music in the bar.
"Thank you Ardiaz, I'm glad you're finally engaged to Andrea. Good luck until the wedding" said Aruna.
"We're just engaged. But to get married there is still no direction. We are still young. Andrea is not even 18 yet. There is still the possibility of separating later" explained Ardiaz who of course makes Aruna stunned.
"Then why are you engaged? It feels like the engagement relationship is not for the game" asked Aruna who did not expect Ardiaz's answer.
"I don't mean Aruna. I don't mean to play with a relationship. It's just that we're still very young. We still haven't thought of marriage. Let time answer".
Aruna also understood.
"I hope you are always happy with your choice" Aruna said, giving a sincere smile to her best friend.
"It's not my choice Aruna. I'm forced to" Inner Ardiaz.
He wanted to convey this to Aruna but he had promised his father to keep it a secret from Aruna.
"It seems like we've been here too long. Many will ask the groom where" Aruna said with a smile.
Ardiaz smiled wryly. Now she must be confronted again about her engagement.
Aruna was about to stand up but Ardiaz held back his hand.
"Arune... Thank you for being my best friend all this time. I'm also all good-bye. I will continue my studies in Laiz City. The city of my mother's birth" Ardiaz said with a sad look.
Aruna smiled again.
"Thank you for being my best friend. I don't know how I would be without you. Thank you Ardiaz" now Aruna can no longer hold back her tears. She cried while bowing her face.
Ardiaz almost took Aruna in his arms but Baron came and prevented her. The baron does not want Aruna to be made an easy target by Andrea.
"Ardiaz.. You here apparently? Your father's been looking for you" the baron told a lie.
Ardiaz's hand that was about to hug Aruna then lowered his hand.
Aruna quickly wiped away her tears.
"Ah.. Thank you Baron for telling me, then I go first" Ardiaz said, then walked into the house first.
Aruna still sat down and lowered her head while wiping her tears.
The baron took a handkerchief in his suit pocket then gave it to Aruna.
Aruna turned to the Baron before receiving the handkerchief.
"Thank you Baron" he said as he took a handkerchief in the Baron's hand.
Seriate...
