Chapters. 37. The Secret of Mbah Parjan


Mr. Jemari and Mas Budi continued walking, Mas Budi patted Pak Jemari's shoulder with a smile because Mas Budi knew that Mr. Jemari was holding his shame.


“It looks like Mr Jemari dream exciting until there is a Queen Mother and Commander he... he.... dream is in which kingdom Sir?” tanya Mas Budi still laughed a little.


“Kingdom Atas Angin.” replied Mr. Jemari in an annoyed tone.


“The Kingdom of the Wind should eat roast birds dong on top of birds.... he.. he....” said Mas Budi as he walked to his room. While Mr. Jemari turned to go to his room. He opened the door quickly. When the door opened he saw Mbah Parjan and Angga sitting cross-legged with an upright body position, the position of people meditating.


“I'm the oldest student even missed a lesson.” muttered Mr. Jemari then immediately headed to the bathroom to clean his body. Mr. Jemari took a quick shower. And after finishing the bath he immediately followed after Angga who was sitting cross-legged. Pak Jemari sat behind Angga by taking the same position.


“It's enough.” said Mbah Parjan while looking he took his breath off. The dog also looks to breathe out.


“How have there been different or still same feelings?” ask Mbah Parjan.


“True Mbah there feels peaceful Angga heart.” Angga replied.


“Often do and good if done morning or night after praying. Leave everything to God that is important you study diligently according to the advice of teachers and parents.” Mbah Parjan said next.


“Thanks Mbah.” said Angga then Mbah Parjan and Angga stood up while Pak Jemari was still sitting cross-legged.

“Iya your sleep was very good.” said Mbah Parjan while staring at Mr. Jemari. The three of them then went out of the room. Mbah Parjan will take the path of Angga street in his parents' garden. Angga asked permission from Ms. Sari, Sari's mother allowed because Angga was accompanied by Mr. Jemari and there was also Mbah Parjan, Sari's mother was calm.


“Mas, later we have lunch at the stall that used to be yes.” said Mr. Jemari while hugging Angga's shoulder while out of the parlour.


“Teacher will eat what, satay, gule , soto, meatballs.?” ask Mr. Jemari.

After walking for a few minutes they came to a very large garden. A garden with many different types of plants. It looks like a small forest.


“Yes this garden belongs to my parents, I grow a lot of plants here from the saplings of plants that I took from the hill. Brothers and relatives if you need medicine do not need to go to the hill just take it in the garden here.” said Mbah Parjan then he walked and headed to the place of plants that will be shown to Angga.

“Iya later I find his name on the internet and in the book.” said Angga while photographing plants appointed by Mbah Parjan. They kept walking around the garden. Mbah Parjan shows plant plants that are beneficial for health.

“That thirst and hunger medicine what?” ask Mr. Jemari.


“Ha..ha..ha...” the three of them laughed off.


“Iya let's now find food and drink.” replied Mbah Parjan but Mbah Parjan did not walk out of the garden, he actually walked towards the coconut tree. Deftly Mbah Parjan climbed up the tree, then took some young coconuts. Angga and Pak Jemari were astonished when they saw Mbah Parjan quickly climb up the tree.


“Awas aside I want to drop this coconut.” cried Mbah Parjan from above. Angga and Pak Jemari then immediately moved away and soon some coconuts had fallen on the ground. Mbah Parjan immediately came down from the top of the tree. Pak Jemari and Angga took the coconut. Mbah Parjan then took the machete he put on his waist. Then open the young coconut fruit and given to Angga and Pak Jemari. While Mbah Parjan has gone and disappeared walk more into the garden. Mr. Jemari immediately uprooted the coconut water.


“Sweet fresh Mas, let's drink.”


“Ga can sir, usually use straws.”


“Sini I ajari.” said Mr. Jemari then taught Angga how to drink coconut water without straws. Angga smiled while wiping the coconut water that hit his face with his hands.


Not long after that Mbah Parjan came with some sweet potatoes that he had removed from his tree and a wild chicken.


“Angga has ever eaten a grilled yam?” mbah Parjan and Angga asked, shaking their heads. Mr. Jemari who knew about it then made a place of burning.


“Teacher, I don't bring matches.” Shouted Mr. Jemari. Mbah Parjan then walked to take two stones. Then he came back, knocked on the two stones and finally came out of the fire. Angga and Pak Jemari looked with astonished gazes.


“Mbah great.” shouted Angga.


“Teacher is great. It turns out that Master has many secrets..”.


The three of them then ate yams, roasted chicken and young coconuts until full. After that they returned to the orphanage, while bringing the saplings of medicinal plants that they would plant in the garden of the orphanage.


Meanwhile Marginah who got information from Ms. Sari that her Father was out with Angga and Mbah Parjan to see the medicine garden was upset because he did not participate invited. Marginah was waiting for them to come in the library room. When they saw the three of them enter the courtyard of the Marginah home immediately ran up to them.
