Rose began to roast the steak in the nonstick pan while singing cheerfully and not hearing Simon's arrival, She did have a duplicate key to Rose's apartment since they got married and walked towards the kitchen because hearing Rose's singing must be cooking her mind.

Simon smiles to see Rose cooking her favorite food again and the smell of Rose cooking makes her hungry without her stomach accidentally ringing. Rose gasped in shock at the sound of someone else's stomach and only realized that he was not alone and turned to look at Simon directly he was indifferent.

" Sit down, soon the food is ready" Rose said.

He knew Simon had a heart and could not bear to see him hungry, however their status was still husband and wife and it was his duty as a wife to serve Simon.

After putting the steak in front of Simon and his part on the table, Rose took a glass to drink Simon and the boiled vegetables into a dish and arranged in front of Simon and poured his sauce.

"Thank you. ", said Simon .

Glad to see Rose was still attentive even though it looked cold to her, they ate in silence and finished eating Simon holding Rose's hand.

" I want to apologize for my outrageous behavior, I am so tormented to part with you. I beg you to go home, as I have always accepted the boy and will not blame him again and love him, I trust you" Simon said.

Rose lowered her head she wanted to tell the truth that it turned out that she had mistakenly thought she was pregnant, yet she wanted to test Simon up to where his trust in her was.
