Married Because of Debt (Should Separate)

Married Because of Debt (Should Separate)
Above The Paper

In a five-star hotel, precisely in one of the VVIP rooms, a woman was staring at her reflection in front of a mirror by wearing night service clothes in the bathroom.

Although in fact he is uncomfortable with thin clothes that greatly show every inch of his body. However, the beautiful woman with white skin and long curly hair was trying to stay calm.

"Bismillah, I can. Come, Nurlia. You can do it."

Nurlia, a 25-year-old woman who has just officially become the wife of Fahmi Amhar. The first child of a prominent family in the city.

The marriage was not due to a love bond between the two. However, Nurlia attempted to fulfill her obligations as a wife on the first night of their marriage.

Nurlia wanted to give the best impression considering the meeting before the wedding showed that the man who had officially asked for it, looked like him too.

With a slow and trembling hand, Nurlia turned the bathroom key and opened it. Walking at a slow pace towards the figure of the man who was seen already leaving the gray-colored suit.

"Yes..." Nurlia called the man standing on the balcony of the hotel room.

Fahmi. 30 years. A CEO who has just occupied and become a leader in a rapidly growing family company.

Fahmi turned his head and of course he was surprised by the appearance of Nurlia who was now wearing lingerie.

Quickly, Fahmi closed the door connecting the room with the balcony and closed the curtains, then pulled Nurlia and threw her body over the bed.

Brake !!!

Surprised? Sure oes. Even Nurlia felt pain from Fahmi's push.

"Mas, can't you start all this gently?" nurlia felt that Fahmi was being too rude on the first night of their marriage.

"Soft, ha?" Fahmi smiled at her smile. It made Nurlia feel very uncomfortable.

Fahmi brought his face closer to Nurlia's, and Nurlia decided to close her eyes. In his heart said a prayer before doing husband and wife relationship.

Long enough Nurlia closed her eyes, but she did not feel Fahmi touching her. Nurlia opened her eyes and she saw Fahmi staring at her sharply.

"Why did you close your eyes? do you wish I'd touched you?" grit it with a cold tone.

Deg !!

Fahmi got up from his position, picked up the blanket and threw it at Nurlia.

Nurlia of course was surprised, because the attitude Fahmi showed was inversely proportional to the attitude before the wedding.

"Don't expect more, I don't love you. This marriage only happens because...." Fahmi hangs his words and leaves Nurlia.

Brake !!

Nurlia is shocked when she sees Fahmi slamming the door and leaving her alone.

Nurlia got up from her bed and immediately walked over to change her clothes, before she decided to go look for Fahmi's whereabouts to ask about her cold demeanor.

Nurlia found Fahmi was in one of the cafes at the hotel, Fahmi was seen drinking alcoholic beverages.

"What are you doing here? Why don't you go back to the room and just rest." Fahmi said as she realized Nurlia was sitting next to her.

"How can I rest in peace, if my own husband is here and spends a bottle of alcohol."

"I'm not your husband, keep that in mind." for a moment Nurlia was silent, her gaze was blank, her heart was sliced.

"Nurlia, listen. I told you never to expect more from our marriage."

"But.."

"Go."

"Aren't you going to want it tonight?" ask Nurlia.

"No and never will."

Deg !!

Nurlia had no choice but to leave the place and spend her first night crying.

A few days at the hotel, both Nurlia and Fahmi no longer greet even though they are still in the same room.

"Tomorrow we'll go home, and we'll stay at my house first or at my house?" nurlia asked as they were having breakfast.

"Whatever."

Nurlia and Fahmi return to Nurlia's house. There Fahmi's attitude again different, no longer like when they were in the hotel.

"Alhamdulillah, it turns out Fahmi was a good man. I'm sure he'll be a good priest for your household" she said after several days of Nurlia and Fahmi's stay there.

Nurlia smiled in response to her mother's words.

Mom, I want to feel like I told you about what happened the night after my wedding and Mas Fahmi.

"Tomorrow we will stay in my family's house, until the house we will occupy is completed in the renovation." Fahmi said while standing behind Nurlia who was arranging the bed on the second night they lived at Nurlia's house.

"All right."

"Remember, I can act like this in front of your mother. I hope you can also maintain your attitude while inside my family."

"What do you mean by talking like that, ma'am?" ask Nurlia.

Nurlia could only sigh as Fahmi chose to leave rather than answer a question from her.

The night was in fact the same as the night before, Fahmi chose to sleep on the sofa even though Nurlia had prepared a bed with a divider in the middle.

Hopefully tomorrow everything will be back as before.

At least that was what Nurlia expected, unfortunately, that hope only remained hope. Because, there was no warm welcome that Nurlia received when she returned to Fahmi's house.

There is no preferential treatment, the arrival of Nurlia is like an advertisement in the Fahmi family consisting of Mother, Father and Fahmi's two younger sisters.

"Nurlia, you just sit there. Auntie's already preparing your food in that chair." Said Mila, who is the mother of Fahmi while pointing towards the seat that is a little distance from the other seat at the dining table.

"Why? can't I join you?" ask Nurlia.

"Have, don't ask too many questions. It's still a good thing I accepted you and fed you in this house" she said with a smile.

Despite her disappointment, Nurlia had no choice but to join the Fahmi family for dinner. Even though he himself is sitting apart with all kinds of food that is also separate.

"Mas, why am I not allowed to sit next to you? why is my seat spaced and food different?" nurlia asked as Fahmi had just entered the room.

"Nurlia, please. I feel so tired and I want to get some rest."

"Mass?"

Fahmi ignored Nurlia's call and immediately changed his clothes and went to sleep with a pillow over his face.

One week later, Nurlia is treated like a stranger in Fahmi's family. None of the family members actually greeted Nurlia except Anton, her father-in-law. The greeting that happens is also just a pleasantries.

"Pa, don't say too much to Nurlia. Later he's a mess. Papa has to remember, why we made him a son-in-law," Nurlia said frequently by accident. It made Nurlia want to know what was really going on.

"Mas, if you don't want this marriage why are you willing to marry me?"

"Please answer me, for a few days you always try to avoid me. Can't you take a moment to talk about our relationship?"

"This ear felt like it wanted to rebel when it heard mama speak as if something was wrong with our marriage."

"Tomorrow we will stay in our own house, the driver will pick you up because I still have a job until late at night" Fahmi said.

"That doesn't answer my question."

"Nurlia, after we have lived in a house separated from our parents. You are free to do anything, let's just say that the relationship between us is only a relationship on paper."

Fahmi takes the suit and car keys before leaving Nurlia with tears that begin to wet his cheeks.

It was the second tear that Nurlia let out after crying on the first night of her marriage.

What does Mas Fahmi mean by saying that our relationship is only limited to paper? if he didn't want this marriage, why did he and his family keep making this marriage happen?

If Dad were still alive, maybe I wouldn't be stuck in a marriage like this.
