Adinda got out of the car, then opened the door for Mama Fia who had been accompanying Papa Jefry in the back seat.
Right, the one who helped Adinda was Mama Fia. Mama Fia happened to pass by and was shocked when she saw Dinda waving her hands like she was asking for help.
Mama Fia was very grateful because she met Dinda who at that time needed help. And more grateful is because she can help papa Jefry, her ex-husband.
Papa Jefry was laid on top of the safe, then quickly pushed by two sisters into the check room.
Mama Fia followed the steps of the gurney while holding Papa Jefry's hand. Even so, there was no expression on his face.
Mama Fia does not put on a worried face does not mean she is not anxious, but she is just shocked and confused what to react like.
All this time she thought her ex-husband had been living happily with his children and grandchildren, or rather by his own choice. But it turns out he was wrong, the man he still loved was even very suffering.
"Sorry, Madam. You can't come in, please wait outside." Nurse said and then released the hand of Mama Fia in the hand of papa Jefry.
Mama Fia did not reply at all. He was still standing there until finally the check room door closed.
"Mom." Call Adinda with a clean voice.
Mama Fia flipped over, looking at the wife of her granddaughter with nanar.
Mama Fia clasped Adinda's hand, then pulled her to sit in the waiting chair in front of the check room.
"What's really going on, Dinda? How can your opinion be like this?" Ask Mama Fia slowly.
Dinda took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. He even shed tears when he heard the question from his brother-in-law.
"Dinda, where's Risa? Adityas? Anto's? Why do you have to wave your hands in the street?" Ask Mama Fia again.
Dinda's cries are breaking. The woman then lowered her head, shedding all her regrets in tears.
Mama Fia was surprised. He pulled Adinda into his arms, and he rubbed her on the back with tenderness.
"Sister Aditya and his family are completely outrageous, Oma. No one appreciates the sacrifice of Jefry's opa all this time." Saying Adinda while crying.
She pulled away, then wiped her tears. He looked at Mama Fia with a face full of tears.
"Since parting ways with oma, opa is never happy. She was always alone, no one cared about her including Risa's mom or anyone else. Papa Jefry suffered a lot, Oma." Add Adinda clarify.
"What! But how could Risa and Aditya behave so, do they not remember Jefry to sacrifice his marriage to free them." Mama Fia replied with shock as well as anger.
"It's not just that, Oma. Papa Jefry's company went bankrupt because Aditya's brother continued to waste money, Aditya's brother cheated on him, and he's sick at the moment." Adinda said back to telling stories.
Mama Fia looked at Adinda with her frown growing furrowed.
"ill? Aditya's sick what?" Ask mom Fia.
"HIV stage four." Adinda replied with a little weight because of the tightness in her chest.
Mama Fia was in shock. She did not know if much had happened, including the suffering of her ex-husband who is now undergoing treatment.
Adinda clasped Mama Fia's hand. "Oma, can I ask you something?" Ask Adinda.
"What, Son?" Ask mom Fia.
"Please go back to the opa, he suffered a lot without the oma. He also still loves oma very much." Adinda replied pleading with great.
Mama Fia did not reply, she even let go of the hand of Adinda who had just made a plea to her.
"Opa Jefry deeply regretted her decision, she had no idea that her son and granddaughter would behave like this, Oma." Saying Adinda again explained.
Mama Fia got up from her seat, then she sighed. Mama Fia still did not give any reaction to Adinda's request.
"I'll call Kaivan and Archie, they should also know Jefry's current condition." Mama Fia's words diverted the conversation.
"For that long, I'll go. Please keep Jefry here." Added mama Fia.
Hearing that, Adinda then held the hand of Mama Fia to prevent her from going from there.
"Oma, at least please see opa once. There's something he wants to say to oma, I beg you." Pinta Adinda pleading.
"My business and Jefry are done, Dinda. If there's anything he wants to talk about, then it's nothing more than a parting sentence." Mama Fia said calmly.
Adinda shook her head. "No, Oma. Opa wants to apologize, I beg you to wait here for a moment." Pinta Adinda's.
Mama Fia shook her head. He stepped back to leave, but his steps stopped when Adinda spoke again.
"Oma, opa said that her age will not be long. He wanted to apologize before he left for good." Say Adinda.
Mama Fia not only stopped her steps, but also immediately approached Adinda again.
"What's? What did you say?" Ask mom Fia.
"The money's not long? Jefry dare to talk like that? Does he want nothing in my hands, huh." Mama Fia said with a growl.
Mama Fia's eyes look teary and Adinda can see if mama Fia still cares a lot about papa Jefry.
"Oma want to stay here any minute, at least until oma meets opa?" Ask Adinda slowly.
"Yes, I'll be here. Claiming he'll be gone is the same as provoking my anger." Mama Fia replied with a fiery voice.
Mama Fia pulled out her phone from the bag, then gave it to Adinda.
"Please call Archie and have him come." Mama Fia.
Adinda looked at the phone. He hesitated to contact his brother, fearing that Archie would refuse to come if he asked.
"Oma, Brother Archie wouldn't want it if I asked for it. She must have hated me so much after what happened." Lirih Adinda lowered her head.
"That's not true, your brother loves you very much. Call him now." Mama Fia said.
Adinda receives mom's cell phone Fia. He wanted to call his sister's number, but who would have thought if Archie first called.
"Fuck him and talk to him." Mama Fia said.
Adinda immediately raised a call from her brother.
"Mama, me and Kaivan are going home. Mama want to eat something no?"
She did not answer, she closed her eyes hearing the voice of the brother she longed for.
The last brother he met, but he refused to answer his question.
"Mama, can you hear my voice?"
Adinda closed her mouth, holding back the sobs that she had wanted to let out.
"M-turp." Saying Adinda in the end.
"It's me, Ma'am. Dinda." Say Dinda again.
After saying that, Dinda immediately gave her phone to Mama Fia and ran to the toilet.
Mama Fia stared at Adinda's departure with a sigh. Of course the woman will feel sad, given what she has done.
Finally, Fia's mother spoke to Archie and asked him to come to the hospital he had mentioned.
Meanwhile, Adinda, she was crying while holding her face which she covered with both hands.
His life has been ruined. Everything's messy. Education, home and future. Everything's shattered.
She knew this was the fruit of her actions, but could she hope to get a second chance?
Adinda wants to be happy like her brother, certainly without seizing what Archie has.
