Marry Me, Brother!

Marry Me, Brother!
Chapter 6

Now Nathan is alone with his daddy. The man stood in front of Mike's desk without daring to make a sound. Long enough until his legs cramp due to too long standing but Mike still focus on his work.

"How long will Daddy tell me to stand up" lamented Nathan, who could stand it no longer.

Mike immediately stopped his work and looked at his son. "I think you already know what daddy wants to talk to you about. Your mommy said you didn't buy anything for Arin. Is that true?" ask Mike.

"So that's why daddy called me here? Why didn't mommy ask me before she complained" Nathan grumbled.

"Then what your mommy said is true? You've gone too far, Nathan, how can you forget about Arin. She's part of our family, daddy and mommy already think of her like our own daughter. He must be sad because you forgot him" Mike said in a disappointed tone.

"Who said Dad, who said I forgot him. The girl who always bothers me, where might I forget. I have my own gift for him, only I haven't been able to give it to him." Nathan put his hand in his pocket.

"Really, it's good that you remember. And yes one more thing, can Daddy ask you to be kind to Arin. Try to get closer and understand her, she is not just a troublesome girl like you said. He's also very independent" Mike said.

"Dad, I've followed your wishes by looking after and treating Arin like my own sister. But if to get closer to him isn't that an exaggeration, we already have our own business." Nathan just felt, instead of them getting close and then having to get as close as anything else.

"Well, daddy just wishes you could be kinder and softer to Arin. Don't let him be sad and lonely because of you."

Mike's message was enough to make Nathan remember it in his heart. He wondered if his attitude had gone too far. But hasn't he been acting out to Arin all this time. He also always protected her from all dangers while they were still in school together.

But Nathan forgot that he never asked her anything about how Arin felt. When he had not met for a long time he did not ask how the days of the girl in the campus. Nathan left that time and enough to make Arin not used to it, he was lonely at first thankfully there was a child from Lia and Sakka who accompanied him.

Nathan stops right in front of Arin's room door. He reached into his pants pocket and took out something he had already bought for Arin while abroad. I didn't know if she would like it or not. His hand was already holding the doorknob but Nathan was hesitant to open it, there was a strange sense as he had to enter just like that. Between them there was no such feeling.

Nathan also undoes his intention to turn around but his legs feel heavy to go.

While in the room. Arin had just finished performing the Islamic prayer service and taught to pray for his family who had died. Only to God can Arin say all grievances and also tell everything without fear anyone knows. Although only until the age of ten years feel the affection of the mother but Arin always remember the messages of his late mother.

Do not neglect his duty as a Muslim. And his mother said that only the Creator can turn the hearts of men upside down.

Tok to tok.

"Before a second" said Arin, he thought it must be Febby. Usually Febby's night comes to chat for a while with Arin.

After folding his face, Arin opened the door. "What's aunty-sister Nathan?" Arin was quite surprised to see who was standing in front of the door of his room.

"Can I come in?" ask Nathan.

"Ohh, please brother." Arin invites Nathan to come in.

They're on Arin's balcony. The place where Arin's favorite while wanting to be alone and pour his feelings through paintings. His room was filled with paintings that he made.

"Not changed" Nathan murmured.

"It's okay, just remembering when I used to bother you when you were painting. After that you must have cried and ran to find mommy to complain. Is it still the same now?"

"That's because Nathan's brother is too nosy. My painting that is almost finished must be destroyed because of brother," grumbled Arin. I am still upset when I remember that day. He was working on a school assignment but was just destroyed by Nathan.

"Hahaha .. You're funny if you frown like that," Nathan said, accidentally making Arin blush. Nathan himself does not realize what he is saying, when he sees Arin who is upset somehow makes him like. It was also something he felt lost while abroad.

"Hmmm ... Brother Nathan what's looking for me?" Arin broke the awkwardness between them.

"Oh yeah, I got something for you. I forgot to give it to you. Here," Nathan said, he gave the little box to Arin.

"Is this Brother?"

"Open it up, you know later."

Busy the small box and make Arin gaping to see the shiny object in it. A very beautiful necklace. "This is for me, brother?" asked Arin not to believe it.

"Yes, do you like it? Otherwise let me just give it to-."

"I want to, who says I don't like." Arin immediately took the necklace and tried to wear it. But enough trouble when installing the hook.

"Let me. Lift your hair up." Nathan takes over, helping Arin put the necklace up from the front and making them close together.

Arin silently watched Nathan's face up close. His face heated up and his heart pounded unruffled, looking at Nathan's face that close.

"Oh, pretty as it turns out. It suits you well." Praise Nathan while allowing Arin's messy hair.

Being treated like that certainly makes Arin groggy. Although they used to be close to each other and even hugged but now with such a close distance can make Arin nervous and misbehaved.

"Thank you, my sister, this is so beautiful" Arin praised as she looked at her necklace.

"It's beautiful." The statement was thrown away as he saw Arin smiling under the moonlight. The little girl had grown up well and became a charming teenage girl.

"Yes, Nathan's very smart to choose him. This must be very expensive. I guess Nathan's brother doesn't remember me," said Arin who was actually disappointed when he saw Febby unpacking souvenirs from Nathan.

"Maybe I forgot the little girl who always followed me and hid behind me. You're a big boy, Arin." Nathan gently rubbed Arin's head. "I hope you can take care of yourself now" Nathan said.

Arin was stunned for a moment to hear it, only Nathan had said that to him. Usually the man would say in a high and firm tone.

"Nr ...."
