Marrying an Ex-Husband Rival

Marrying an Ex-Husband Rival
Chapter 49. Conspiracies

Several middle-aged men gathered in a luxurious meeting room. Their faces looked solemn as they began to complain to each other. Every now and then they would curse when their wrinkled faces looked irritated and filled with grievances.

Among them, only a thirty-year-old young man sitting quietly watched the few middle-aged men while propping up his hands lazily.

"Are you guys done?" The young man was in his sitting position. It let out a voice that made the person older than him fall silent. Clench their mouths obediently.

Although the young man was the youngest among them, yet all of the men clearly respected and upheld the young man.

"Mr Reihan, don't be angry. We were just upset at the smelly brat so it swore at him the moment we heard his name." One of the old men rubbed his hands licked.

The young man called master Reihan snorted before extending his hand and his Secretary who was standing behind him immediately gave what he asked without saying. A stack of paper was placed in his right hand.

After getting what he wanted, Reihan threw some cold sheets of paper onto the large table in the middle of them all.

"This is the price you have to pay to get me to join you." He said arrogantly.

The few old men immediately picked up the pile of papers in front of them and read them with a hint of disbelief within their facial expressions. After they finished reading the contents of the paper, they began to look at each other. Interact in silence with mutual understanding.

"The price I've given you is non-negotiable." Said Reihan indifferently. Staring at the few old men scoffed.

"You understand Mr. Reihan. But to make such a big decision, we still have to talk carefully before we decide. Moreover, some important people by our side were also unable to attend this meeting because they were abroad. So what if Mr Reihan lets you go back first and gives us time to talk about it?" One of the old men spoke after reaching their agreement.

"of course. I'm not a nonsensical person either. Of course you guys have to talk first." Reihan said calmly. "Yet you should also know that even though I am not an unreasonable person, I do not have much patience. So I'm not gonna give you guys much time." Continue Reihan with cold, cunning eyes.

"good good. Youunderstand. We'll make a decision as soon as we talk about it with your other colleagues."

"alright. Because there's nothing more I need to do. I'll go first." Reihan stood up haughtily. Patting her material pants that are not even dirty or tangled in a way that sucks.

After Reihan came out of the room, immediately everyone's voice sounded noisier. They immediately let out all sorts of complaints and thoughts that they had been holding back from the beginning. But the complaint was no longer aimed at the same person as before they met the one who had last come out.

Ignoring the commotion inside the meeting room that was behind him. Reihan picked up the phone in his suit pocket before contacting someone. "I've already thrown the bait. Wait a few days before we can harvest some fish." Talk to someone across the phone.

"OKAY. I-i understand. Don't forget to buy me a meal next time." He said it again after hearing the answer from the person across.

"Eih! Of course it's necessary. Moreover, I also want to taste the legendary sister-in-law's cooking." Reihan smilingly raised the corner of his lips cunningly. His fox-like eyes flashed with interest.

Hearing the reply of the person across again, Reihan smiled triumphantly. Hang up the phone and put the flat object back in his pocket. "I wonder what kind of woman could touch that man safely." Reihan sighed as he continued his long steps. Get out of the hotel that was their meeting place that night.

The person on the other side had a clear expression inversely proportional to Reihan's happy expression. His handsome face looked grim.

Yasmin is busy with cooperation projects between PT.Gutama and Grayson Group. Ever since he came last time, he had never again come to Noah's office. Moreover, Noah would come to pick her up for lunch together almost every day. There is also Surya who will represent him to report to the office.

But what Yasmin never thought was that someone had been looking for her for a few weeks in frustration. That man was none other than Luke. Luke, who had planned many things to take Yasmin from Noah, never got a chance to do a step of his plan because of Yasmin, whom he could not meet at all.

"Is there any way Noah locked her up at home?" Luke muttered while knocking on his desk. His work was stacked on the side and he had not done it at all. His mind is fucked up right now.

Then he lazily picked up the phone in his room and ordered his secretary to come in. It didn't take long, his secretary who was indeed sitting in front of his room immediately arrived inside the room. Stand up obediently. Waiting for the orders from Luke.

"Do you know Noah's schedule lately?" Luke's question surprised his secretary. But after following Noah for almost a month, he had little understanding of his boss that he did not like someone to interfere in his affairs.

He answered obediently. "I'm sorry sir, I don't have the power to know Mr. Noah's schedule. But I heard from some employees that every day Mr. Noah would be out at lunchtime."

"Every day out for lunch?" Luke narrowed his eyes.

"True sir."

"OKAY. I-i understand. Come out." Luke nodded before shaking his hand to drive his secretary out.

"It was impossible for Noah to go to meetings every day at the same hour. What don't-don't..." Luke did not continue his speech as he was suddenly enlightened.

He had heard from his father that Noah valued his wife very much. So he guessed that Noah went every lunch hour to meet Yasmin. Well. That's certain.

Light flashed in Luke's eyes as he began to believe his understanding. Looking at the clock that was approaching lunchtime, he no longer wasted his time thinking and immediately took one by one the files on his desk that had been waiting to be done since morning. He had to finish his work before lunch.
