A Doctor came out of the ER. Dayat quickly asked.
"Dok, how's my wife doing?"
The doctor seemed to sigh heavily, "The condition of your wife is still critical, you should join me in my work room to know more clearly the condition of your wife" explained the Doctor.
Without waiting for long, Dayat immediately agreed and followed in the footsteps of the Doctor.
In the room.
Dayat appears still sitting at the doctor's desk while waiting for the results of Lab tests and ronsen that has been done by the Doctor.
His body was trembling, afraid of being mixed with anxiety.
"This is Doc, patient documents" A nurse handed over some documents to the Doctor.
The doctor opened it, then looked at Dayat who had been waiting for the doctor's explanation.
"According to the results of the examination" the doctor slightly hung his words. Meanwhile, Dayat listened carefully.
"According to the results of the ronsen, Miss Melly suffered a fracture in the back, it will cause Miss Melly to experience temporary paralysis. But also to be aware, because in the head there is also a strong impact likely Miss Melly will also experience memory loss" explained the Doctor. Dayat's eyes turned red, he could not hold back his tears anymore.
"Then, what about my son Doc?" Dayat asked then with his voice.
"Sorry sir, we can't save your son. We're forced to take her out, because otherwise, Miss Melly would be in danger too. What's more, Miss Melly's severe bleeding doesn't allow her to keep her baby anymore" the doctor said.
Dayat shed tears of sorrow, when he heard that his son was no longer in this world.
"Okay doc, thank you for the explanation" Dayat said later, then he passed away leaving the Doctor's room with sadness. A sense of regret enveloped his heart.
"Why am I so upset, to let my wife alone climb the stairs" Batin Dayat.
Dayat walked with staggering steps, his gaze so blank. The hero quickly caught Dayat's body that was about to fall.
"Mas, all right?" Ask the hero quickly. But not getting an answer.
Wira looked at her brother suspiciously, then asked back.
"What happened to Melly mas?" Ask the hero again.
Dayat looked at Wira for a moment, then looked down again.
"My son, my son is gone" Dayat sobbed there. Again he became a figure so weak, his son who he so longed for is now gone.
Since Melly will soon be transferred to the nursing room, they should see firsthand the state of Melly. That's how they think.
Someone smiled tilted behind the wall, "That's just one death, another time I'll take your life again Melly" he said in a hateful tone.
Inpatient room.
Melly's been transferred to the VIP room. Where only Melly was treated there.
A heart-detecting monitor was heard there. As well as a lot of other supporting tools attached to the body of Melly. Dayat clasped Melly's hand tightly, staring at Melly's sleeping face.
"How's Wir?" Ask your mom a little whisper.
"We'd better get out first ma, will Dayat mas hear?" Reply Wira slowly. Mama nodded slowly, then walked out of the room. Wira tailed from behind following in her mother's footsteps.
"The doctor said, Melly's in a coma right now. There is a possibility that Melly will experience memory loss because there is a hard impact on her head" Wira said when she was outside.
"What?" My mother covered her mouth with both hands. Her eyes were red, as it held back her crying. But in the end the tears spilled on their own.
"It is fitting that my son Dayat be so devastated" he said later with a heartbreaking look. Staring at Dayat who had been holding Melly's hand without letting go.
