MARRYING FOR REVENGE
Chapter 39.

Cleo who just realized that Pandu was not in his place, immediately he looked for his papa. Walk past some of his relatives without greeting first.

Looking here and there, it turns out Pandu was near the swimming pool while talking to someone by phone.

"Broth... " Hearing Cleo's voice immediately Pandu ended his phone call like he was hiding something from his daughter.

"What's wrong? " The man turned to look at his daughter.

"Why is papa here? " ask back Cleo.

"There was an important phone call, why? "

"Nothing! " the answer was brief then passed leaving Pandu.

"Bas with the boy? " Pandu shook his head with his daughter's attitude, leaving just like before he was looking for Pandu everywhere.

The family event passed, where others were enjoying the event after event but not with Pandu and Cleo who became the talk between everyone. Pandu who initially talked a lot could not do anything when all his jokes about the lover of Cleo was not present as he had said before.

Likewise, Cleo, the woman was forced to go home early, because she was upset with some of her cousins who made her uncomfortable lingering there. How not if they all ask Cleo to bring her lover to them next time.

Cleo could not say what. So the only way is to go so as not to listen to all the talk and wishes of his cousins.

In the room when Evan who had looked relaxed was about to come out of the room but his eyes caught something that was on the bed.

He walked over to the bed and picked up the thing that was located there. His smile instantly expanded when the thing was already in his hands. Looking at the screen of the phone that he held, who else if not Airin. The woman who has been constantly troubling her mind.

Evan was about to open the phone but he could not because it turned out that Airin locked his phone.

"What are you doing? " A voice so suddenly appeared from behind the door made Evan shocked. He was nervous to say what because it was like being caught stealing something.

"Nothing! " Evan put the phone back in its original place and Airin was a little confused by what Evan was doing on his phone.

But he tried not to think about it because he knew Evan could not open his cell phone.

Evan quickly went out of the room making Airin frown because he came out like he was in a hurry.

The next day Airin awoke from his long slumber, blinked his eyes as he gathered his consciousness. Feeling that something was heavy in his stomach, Airin looked at his stomach which turned out to be Evan's burly hands hugging him while sleeping.

Airin turned to look at the face of Evan who was still asleep. Look at that calm face for a moment. Her memory goes back to last night where Airin slept first and did not know when Evan entered the room.

Airin tilted her body to be able to freely look at Evan's face. The handsome face that had made him fall in love with the first time he met the man at a cafe. And it turns out that destiny brought them back together so that the two were bound in a relationship.

But the next second Airin remembered the purpose of the man he looked at married him just because he wanted to avenge the loss of the most valuable person in his life.

"If you had married me out of love for me, I would be lucky to be that woman. But in reality I'm not in your heart. " Lirih Airin touched the chest of Evan's field very slowly fearing that the person he touched woke up from his sleep.

"Can't I have a little bit of me in your heart? " again, Airin spoke, still putting her hand on her husband's chest.

Now his hand turned down the shady face that he had been looking at. "I don't know how and when I'll stay by your side? what is clear is that my feelings are slowly getting eroded more and more, because I don't want these feelings to get deeper and will eventually hurt myself."

The movement of Airin's fingers made Evan feel disturbed. Aware that Airin was touching his face but he pretended to still be asleep to find out what the woman was doing.

"You know? I used to dream of marrying a man who loved me more than anything. Having a lively reception made me queen for a day. But in reality all of that is just a dream that will never be realized until anytime. I even had a husband who didn't love me at all. " Airin sighed for a moment before she spilled out her heart, which she had always been quiet without anyone knowing what she was feeling.

"Ck, what am I talking about? oh my God, I think I'm crazy! " Airin realized that what he was doing was nothing to talk to Evan who was sleeping.

Soon he lowered Evan's hand which was still coiled above his body and then got off the bed. After feeling that Airin had moved away from her, Evan opened his eyes.

Feeling guilty for his actions to the woman, even he himself who had destroyed the dream he had just heard from Airin directly.

"sorry. " Evan apologized even though Airin couldn't hear what he said just now. He did not have enough courage to say his apology directly. Because he knows very well the word sorry will not change anything now.

Because what has happened will never change even if the woman forgives her. The only way is to fix everything before it's too late. Before the woman gave up being by his side.

"You awake? " ask Airin who was neat after cleaning himself to Evan who was still under his blanket on the bed.

"Umm. " Evan's voice was short while sitting his body on the bed.

"Have I prepared warm water for you! " airin's words made Evan feel even more guilty for his actions. Although Airin already knew Evan's true purpose, he still wanted to do his duty as a wife even though he had refused all the tasks for a few days but in the end Airin again did his duty to serving her husband.

Because he realized it would only make the two further away. And in time later Evan wants to throw it he will not regret for not doing his job well during being the wife of Evan.

"Why are you still being nice to me after knowing the truth? "
