Chapter 59 Avengers Campus

Disney California Adventure opens a new tourist area, the Avengers Campus, which stands on an area of 2.43 hectares.

Avengers Campus provides several locations that are identical to the Marvel hero, such as Avengers Headquarters, Web Slinger: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardian of the Galaxy: Breakout!, Pym Test Kitchen & Tasting Lab and Ancient Sanctum.

Abizhar was very enthusiastic when entering Avengers Campus.

Marvel superhero Abizhar soon pulls his Papa to see everything he wants.

Abizhar now cooperates with Papa Satya and Uncle Fandi to enjoy all the rides in the place.

Upon entering the area, visitors are immediately greeted by a Spider-Man robot attraction that does a somersault and flies at an altitude of 60 feet or 18.3 meters in the air. After the performance was finished, then the human-played Spider-Man came to welcome the visitors.

Furthermore, visitors can meet other superheroes from the Avengers ranging from Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, to Ant-Man in Avengers Headquarters.

The Avengers Campus is located at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, United States. This tourist spot has been open since June 2021.

At its opening some time ago, Avengers Campus featured various attractions show the strongest heroes from earth and space. One of the shows is the Spider-Man attraction that swings in the sky.

In Avengers Campus, every visitor can come face-to-face with all their favorite superheroes, including Doctor Strange, Thor, Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy on their travel mission BREAKOUT. Now, you can join Spider-Man on a mission with the new rides WEB Slingers.

Upon entering the ride, you'll meet Peter Parker in his lab as he explains his multiplied spider bot. Of course, things quickly get out of control as Parker tends to do and the bot begins to take over, the visitors then pick up their 3D glasses and ride the rides to help take down the mutant spider alongside Spider-Man.

The ride is highly interactive, the visitors can partake in an arcade-style game, by swinging their own webs to kill as many spiders as possible with augmented reality. It takes a few seconds to understand the game, but once you try, you'll aim your hand in every direction to watch yourself defeat the bad guys.

WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure brings together physical sets, practical effects, and virtual set extensions to bring adventure to life

The attraction uses state-of-the-art technology, so that our visitors can use a net like never before. It uses new gesture recognition software adapted specifically for this experience, and combines it with physical and digital devices. But all that technology disappears in the experience and makes you feel like a (superhero)

Visitors can also witness other attractions, such as seeing Doctor Strange with his magic spell, practicing martial arts a la kingdom Dora Milaje from Wakanda, Japan, as well as seeing the most popular Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) characters, such as Black Widow, Thor, and others.

At the center of the rides, visitors can play at Avengers Campus, home to Marvel's most powerful heroes. After playing, tourists can also visit a very unique restaurant, the Pym Test Kitchen which serves food in large and mini sizes. Here is the Avengers Campus!

Avengers Headquarters

Abizhar is happy to meet the strongest superheroes on earth and watch their show.

Andin complies with the son who asks to be photographed with his idol when he meets Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Black Widowm, Thor, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, The Wasp, and The Guardian of the Galaxy.

The Ancient Sanctum

In this vehicle, Uncle Fandi faithfully leads Abizhar to meet with Doctor Strange who will open the eyes of visitors with things full of magic, mystery, and the multiverse. 

With painstaking Uncle Fandi gives Abizhar an explanation that in this vehicle they will gain knowledge about the earth, reality and threats that will awaken our imagination.

Beyond the trip, visitors will also get a chance to watch Spider-Man in action atop Avengers Campus, the official website said, with gravity-defying performances involving men and pretty impressive animatronics towering 65 feet in the air from one roof to another. After the stunt, Spider-Man goes down to greet the new Avenger's "recruits.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

When entering this one vehicle Abizhar mentions Groot when he saw the marvel character he knew.

This one will take Abizhar into space to visit Taneleer Tivan aka The Collector. Marvel Superheroes characters, such as Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocker, Drax, and Groot are locked in glass crates.

In accordance with the theme of the party, visitors who come must help them to get out of the place The Collector.

WEB Slingers: A Spider - Man Adventure

In this vehicle, Abizhar is interested because it can drive with a room like the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka the headquarters WEB. Headquarters WEB is a company that helps give superpowers to ordinary people.

While driving, small spider toys, or Spider-Bots will be free and visitors will have to catch them with their “ jarring” power and of course with a la Spider-Man style.

Abizhar is so excited to find Spider-Man inside the base. Disney has designed a robot that wears after Spider-Man. This robot will swing and spin in the air. After the game is over, the Spider-Man cast in the ride will descend from the building and come to the guests.

Abizhar did not waste the moment.

Abizhar even invited Spiderman to shake hands and memoerintroduce himself.

"Hello Spiderman, I'm Abizhar from Indonesia, Nice to meet you." so Abizhar when meeting Spiderman.

Of course everyone smiled at Abizar's behavior.

Pym’s Test Kitchen

Pym’s Test Kitchen is the main dining room or restaurant in Avengers Campus. Here, scientists working with Ant-Man and The Wasp are using their technology to make innovative food.

Abizhar enjoys chicken sandwiches, spaghetti meatballs with large meatballs, and soft jumbo-sized pretzels.

For mature visitors, you can enjoy beer and cocktails at Pym’s Tasting Lab.

Marvel fans will remember the last scene in the first Avengers movie, when Iron-Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor, and Hawk Eye saved New York from the Chitauri? Yup, they all ate at the Shawarma restaurant recommended by Iron-Man.

At Avengers Campus, visitors can also eat at the same restaurant as them, namely Shawarma Palace. This restaurant provides chicken shawarma with garlic spread and plant-based falafel.

"Abizhar likes?" Satya asked his son who had been constantly running around here and there as if he would not run out of Abizar's energy.

"Like Papa." Abizhar while enjoying his meal.

Although tired of following Abizhar all day, all seemed happy to see the boy laughing cheerfully and very happy because he could meet his idol.
