"Tell me what's really going on!"
Firas couldn't wait to hear everything.
Samuel took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"I am Samuel Richard the cousin of Leah your little girl."
Deg
Firas knows that Samuel is Leah's cousin. But hearing Lea's name called made his mood become irregular.
Firas' heart was beating so fast that he was still trying to hide it.
"The woman who is now your wife is the girl of your childhood, your little girl, Leamu ."
"Whatchu mean? never play with Firas Mahotra!" Firas clutched Samuel's neck.
"Calm Fir, listen to me first."
"Continue!"
Firas was trying to regulate his breathing to return to normal.
Restore his mood which is now in a mess.
Reuniting his scattered mind.
"But the Leah that is now is not the Leah that was. The Leah who used to love you so much and always waited for you with all the love. Such great and hopeful love for you at that time. Until one day in order to save the miniature of your gift that was so precious to him he had to lose the memory of his past back then."
"What do you mean?"
His heart returned to the storm.
Samuel recounted all the events that Rea had experienced back then. That eventually made Rea have to lose her childhood memories in other words amnesia
But the miniature he had was intact without the slightest scuff in his grasp.
Phiras listened to the strands by the strands of words spoken from Samuel's mouth. Her tears fell and escaped the corner of her eye.
These tears are so disrespectful why you just cheered on me without saying goodbye!!. Inner Firas while rubbing the rough tears that flowed on his cheeks.
As clever as he hides the fragility that he has been covering. In the end, it also breaks the defense that he had been building to cover his tightness because he did not find his little girl.
Between happy and sad mixed into one constantly churned in his chest. The longing that was burning in his heart now no longer had to be withstood.
Firas was so happy because it turned out that the woman who became his wife today was a girl in his childhood.
The girl he loved with all his heart and soul. The girl who made him close himself and his heart to any woman.
Now he was with Leah the little girl he had been looking for. But the conditions are different.
And he was sad to remember that his little girl had forgotten him and had even loved Daniel so much that he was the younger brother of Firas himself.
"It's not fair, it's not fair to me! I love him so much and keep looking for him. But she doesn't remember me at all even before she married me she loved my own brother Daniel so much!"
"All this is not Fir's will, never blame Leah. He's completely innocent. Everything that happens is by God's will and not by his will. Such great love for you makes him prefer to protect your gift rather than his own life!"
"Have you told her about all this?"
"No, I haven't told him. I don't want to make him hurt because all of that will affect his psyche. The doctor advised against forcing her to remember."
Firas wiped his tears that just kept flowing on his cheeks with disrespect in his opinion. So rude he rubbed it.
Gripping firmly his own chest, occasionally he hit his chest that felt so tight.
Firas could not accept that his little girl did not remember him at all.
It is already his hope to live happily and love each other for a lifetime. Because in fact the woman he loved so much had forgotten herself even loved others.
Firas can't accept all that.
"And you should know the weight of being Lea, when she just lost her past memories. He had to go back to swallowing the bitter pill because he had to lose both parents in a short period of time."
"Imagine it if you were in his position at the time. He who is trying to remember his lost childhood but at the same time he must forget the bad events that befell his parents. He was in a coma for a few days. And you know when he woke up from that coma? Lea who was so weak suddenly became a girl who was so strong as the little girl we knew. But under different circumstances because he had forgotten his past memories along with him forgetting the departure of his parents."
Samuel now shed his tears.
Telling back the incident made El again feel the pain in his heart.
Sick even very sick when seeing Lea who had just realized from her coma it looks so cheerful as before but with different circumstances.
Lea no longer remembers her childhood she can no longer cry over the departure of both her parents.
Her subconscious forced her to become such a tough little girl.
"Is there someone who deliberately made both of Leah's parents die?"
Firas started thinking well again.
"Either Fir, it's still a mystery that I find very difficult to solve, too complicated."
"We have to figure it all out."
"I'm trying to solve the mystery!"
Firas rubbed back his tears violently.
Looking at the clock on his wrist.
He had forgotten the promise of meeting someone to discuss cooperation.
"Sorry, I have to leave immediately. I have a meeting this afternoon!"
"So much as me."
"Then we'll connect again another day. Thank you El you've told me everything." Firas patted Samuel on the shoulder and left the restaurant.
"Same - same Fir."
They separate.
There was a sense of relief in Samuel's heart for telling Firas everything. He no longer holds the burden of the mind alone. There was Firas who had found out about Lea who had forgotten her childhood memories.
One problem has been solved.
Now he can calmly investigate the death of Rea's parents which is still a mystery in his brain.
He must find the mastermind behind the incident.
Firas had arrived at the door of his room. But he abandoned his intention to enter his room.
He walked to his wife's room.
Opening the door, a focused woman stared at the laptop screen in front of her.
It has become a habit of women if they are focusing on one object then no longer care about the surrounding.
Like now he did not know if anyone entered his room.
Firas continued walking towards Rea.
As much as possible he held back his tears from coming out or would make him ashamed before the woman he loved so much.
Rea got up from his chair about to pick up the pile of paper that was on Daniel's desk which was empty at the time.
"Good, Fir!. You're just surprising me."
Firas continued to look at Rea so closely.
"Fir, are you okay?" ask Rea to worry.
Firas could not say - words, his tongue suddenly became a mute. And then hugged her so tightly.
His shoulders were shaking violently. Her tears were unstoppable and continued to flow down the back of the woman in her arms.
