Dining table chair where Vanessa sat with her father. The fried rice is their smoked chicken dinner menu, and Arjuna who cooks it is of course.
The ringing of a call on Arjuna's cell phone makes Vanessa flutter. "Pa, Pa, Mama called! Lift Pa, pick up!" the antus.
Arjuna widened a smile that unwittingly showed his happiness. For the first time, Hilda called her number.
"That's what Anes said. Mama must be feeling guilty about Anes. So now that Mama's calling Papa, she's gonna apologize." Vanessa was so enthusiastic as to assume with her smile.
Arjuna stroked his daughter's head and went a little away from the dinner table. Of course after saying goodbye to Vanessa who did let papa and his mother miss each other, yes... That's what Vanessa had in mind.
Three times, Arjuna took a deep breath before picking up a phone call from his ex-wife, whom he had only been married for seven months.
"Yes Hil..."
📞 "You told Vanessa to slander my lover, huh?"
Arjuna jerked until his chest became pounding now. "Defamation?" This was beyond his expectations, lover, whom even he himself had only known.
📞 "Don't kink!"
"I really don't know what you're talking about..."
📞 "Vanessa came with a photo of my lover in the hotel room. And I'm sure you're behind Anes' mischief!" crop Hilda.
In a short time. Flowering face Arjuna changed sedu sedan. "So your goal was to call just to blame me?"
📞 "Of course. What do you expect of me? You want me to come back to you?"
Arjuna heard a crisp laugh that sneered from across there. 📞"Gaca! You just don't sell to anyone else, anything else with me!"
"Have you?" Not wanting to linger hurt by the words of his ex, Arjuna said goodbye. "I'll close." Suddenly laughter returned.
📞 "Why, heartache same honest talk I huh? That's why they're the ngaca! Hope you don't get high, Juna! I can't possibly go back to you, even though you used Anes a hundred times to persuade me!"
"Utilizing?" Arjuna gave a faint chuckle.
📞 "If not, you can't have Anes keep coming here! With your cheap drama!"
"Listen to Hilda." Arjuna stopped talking and smiled as Vanessa looked at him. He then turned his face elsewhere.
"I don't understand what you mean. All I know is, Anes came to you because he missed you. And again, you have to listen.., I still hold on to my widower status. Just because of Anes, just so you know. She, just wants to be your daughter, she doesn't want any stepmom!"
Without waiting for an answer from Hilda Arjuna immediately turned off the call unilaterally.
No three seconds, Hilda's number is back. And again, Arjuna picked it up. 📞 "You dare hang up my phone?" hilda's screams sounded deaf.
Arjuna was sure, Hilda was still the old Hilda, who felt very beautiful. And not worth going with him.
"What else? You're not satisfied with insulting me? Ok. I listen now" said Arjuna.
Arjuna nodded though for free because he was not seen by the caller. "And thank you for giving Anes to me. If you still want to berate me, please write and send via chat. I can still read it."
No longer holding back. Arjuna again decided on Hilda's call. Long enough he stood there with a rumble of chaotic breath.
Before moving to the dining room, he took a deep breath, hoping his daughter did not know the bad behavior of his beloved mother that made his mood chaotic at this time.
Hilda never changed, always insulted her. How many times has Hilda spit in front of him, but love still makes her last until this second.
Stupid right? No, because he never expected to have that blind love.
"Where's Pa? Mama's gonna apologize to Anes, right? He made Anes sad, didn't he?"
Hilda, Vanessa could never think badly of her mother. And Arjuna doesn't want Vanessa to know about Hilda's infamy. But, he still did not understand what Hilda meant just now.
Arjuna nodded. "Mama is sorry to make you sad. But, Mama also complained about your mischief. About, Mama's lover."
"So he said?" Vanessa disappointed. At a time like this, why is Hilda still talking about that annoying Om.
"Darling..."
Arjuna wanted to say that Hilda hated him so much. It's free if Vanessa wishes her all the way up. But, if she was honest, this would hurt her daughter's tender heart of course.
"Why why?" Vanessa scratches Arjuna's face that has changed.
"No..," Arjuna nodded and had to smile. "Now we continue to eat."
Vanessa nodded. Then, the two continued for a while because suddenly Vanessa's curiosity back tickled.
"May Anes ask?"
"Hmmm..." Arjuna nodded.
"What is the reason you got divorced? Why did you leave Papa all this time?"
Vanessa sees an unusual glance from an Arjuna. Looks like his father's not talking, probably because of a mischievous complaint he made to his mother.
"Can we continue to eat first, right?" arjuna Pinta.
"All right..." Vanessa tried to bury her curiosity deeply. Because now, it's not happy in his father's handsome face.
Arjuna shook his head a little regretfully making Vanessa look sad. Not that he didn't want to answer the question of his beloved daughter, but it was highly unlikely that he was telling the truth.
About how Hilda insulted her during the wedding. Even worse when Hilda ran away after her daughter was born.
The reason Hilda left is just around. Not willing to live together with men with thick glasses, cupu, geeky, and nerds who are not fashionable.
Vanessa would also be more hurt if she knew that she and Hilda had it by mistake. Yeah, that night was just an unplanned mistake.
