CHAPTERS. 26 Reyhan's Past

Reyhan returns to the guest room where Cristian and Karina are chatting with the twins.

"Sorry sir, I stayed for a while" Reyhan said.

"It's okay Rey" Cristian said.

"Your sisters look a lot like you Rey" Karina said.

"Surely mom, I didn't even notice it" Reyhan said.

"Yes, Reyhan did not pay attention to what was noticed by Reyhan mas only mba Rissa aja anyway" said Elena who invited laughter Karina and Cristian.

Not long after came Larissa with Mayang who had met in the kitchen, they were sitting together in the guest room.

"Because now everything has been gathered, I just immediately expressed the intention of our arrival here" said Cristian.

"Alright sir please express the purpose of the arrival of the father's family" said Mayang please.

"Before we came here I had actually proposed to Reyhan for our daughter Larissa and Reyhan had accepted the proposal" Cristian said pausing.

Mayang immediately looked at Reyhan to see his son's expression.

"I want Reyhan and Larissa to get married soon, because after that Reyhan will replace me managing an existing company in Indonesia because I will open a branch company in Japan. We came here to ask what kind of opinion of mother" said Cristian.

"Are you sure you want to make Reyhan your son-in-law?" ask Mayang to Cristian.

"I'm one hundred percent sure" Cristian said.

"Then I agree with your plan" Mayang said.

"Since you've agreed, then the wedding will be done in three weeks how about ma'am?" ask Cristian.

"The Dad was too fast" Larissa said.

"Faster is better" said Cristian.

"Can I speak to Larissa first sir?" ask Mayang.

"Please say what you want" Cristian said.

Mayang turned to look at Larissa who was sitting next to him and then grasped the girl's hand.

"Let's go with mom for a while" Mayang asked.

Larissa nodded and was admired by Mayang then the two got up to go to Mayang's room.

They sat on the bed with Mayang holding Larissa's hand.

"Larissa I know Reyhan has many shortcomings for you, so far I never thought that he would be made a son-in-law by Mr. Cristian. Do you know that Reyhan boy has never loved any woman, he has never been close to any woman in the sense of dating" Mayang said.

Larissa did not respond to a word, she just listened carefully.

"Do you also know that Reyhan has trauma?" ask Mayang.

"Trauma?" larissa asked back in surprise.

Mayang nodded.

"So far Reyhan is good at covering up his trauma from everyone, only me and his sister know" said Mayang.

"If you can tell Reyhan's traumatized by what aunt?" ask Larissa.

Mayang did not answer immediately, he got up and took something at the nightstand and showed it to Larissa.

"This photo is the same as the photo in front" Larissa said.

"Yes right, this photo is also the only photo of him with his two friends that can be displayed in this house by Reyhan it is also me who begs him because this photo is the only time he graduated" mayang.

"Are these Reyhan's friends?" ask Larissa.

Mayang nodded then recounted Reyhan's past.

*Flashback on*

Three years ago when Reyhan was in college he had two best friends since sitting in Junior High School. His best friends are Rendy and Nayla.

As they get along, there is a feeling of like that Rendy has felt in Nayla since they were third grade High School.

Rendy is only able to tell her feelings to Reyhan she does not dare to express to Nayla worried about being rejected and ruining their friendship.

As time passed, the love that Rendy felt for Nayla turned into love, now they have sat on the bench and entered the fourth semester. Again the feeling that Rendy felt was only able to tell Reyhan.

Rendy knew that Nayla loved someone a long time ago but she was not the one and she did not know who Nayla loved.

When they graduate, Nayla gives Reyhan a bouquet of red roses.

Graduation is over but still crowded with people who are celebrating the happiness of graduating including Reyhan, Rendy and Nayla.

Everyone is surprised by Nayla who gives flowers to Reyhan, because the flower that Nayla gives is a flower sign of Love.

Rendy, who is between Reyhan and Nayla, was immediately eliminated from the two but not too far away, he wanted to listen to the conversation.

"I love you Reyhan!" nayla said slightly raising her voice.

Deg.

Reyhan surprised by the confession of love from his best friend, Nayla often told his two friends that he loved someone, but he did not think that the person Nayla loved was him.

Not only Reyhan was surprised, but Rendy who had loved Nayla was also surprised by the girl's declaration of love.

"Do you want to be my lover?" ask Nayla.

'Rey, are you going to accept Nayla's love and betray me' Rendy's inner self.

Everyone was waiting for a response from Reyhan who was just silent, he was confused why Nayla suddenly expressed her feelings.

Reyhan was speechless, he looked at Rendy whose face had turned red. He understood Rendy's feelings that his best friend must be angry with this situation, he then chose to pull Nayla from there to a quieter place that is the campus parking lot.

"Rey why did you pull me here?" ask Nayla.

"Nay you're nothing" Reyhan said.

"You mean?" ask Nayla.

"You try anything, why express love to me?" ask Reyhan.

"Because I love you Rey, I mean it" replied Nayla.

"Nay, we're best friends" Reyhan said.

"Why are we Rey's best friends, I love you and I want us to be" Nayla said.

"Sorry Nay but I can't" Reyhan said.

"Why?" ask Nayla.

Reyhan swallowed his saliva he could not bear to tell Nayla, he loved Nayla very much as a friend and he did not want the girl to be disappointed, but what could make him have to say.

"Because I don't love you Nayla" Reyhan said.

Deg.

Nayla's chest was tight knowing that the man she loved did not love her, without her noticing that her tears were also dripping.

"Can't you love me?" ask Nayla.

"Can't be Nay, now or later I can't love you" Reyhan replied.

He was forced to say that so that Nayla would surrender to him, because he had to keep Rendy's feelings as well.

Nayla was no longer able to see Reyhan, her heart ached so much. He turned his body and ran to get out of Reyhan's presence.

"Nay, where are you going, Nay?" ask Reyhan while chasing Nayla.

Rendy, who had been a short distance from Reyhan and Nayla, talked to Nayla.

"Nay, Nayla!" call Rendy.
