Regan Protests

Hope is only hope and a child is still a child, whose whining makes the head ache. It has been two weeks Cherries made dizzy by the request of Regan who wants to meet with Tio, while since the incident at the mall they have not met again.

Cherries no longer know what reason he gave whereas it has been three days Regan difficult to be told to eat and continue to stay in the room without wanting to play out as usual. Successful protests make Cherries dizzy on their own.

While at school, the teacher had reprimanded him because Regan was not focused on learning and was silent when asked. Playing with friends is rare, he prefers to be in class with his head down.

Ever asked by the teacher what reason makes Regan like this, but the boy only answered if miss Papah. And that makes Cherries sad. The woman decides to take Regan to Reno's funeral.

"Honey, said Ma'amah's teacher was missing Papah. Let's go to Papah's funeral, son!" cajole the Cherries but are immediately answered with a headband by Regan.

Cherries breathe heavily, as a mother she knows exactly what made Regan change but if there is anything else that makes Regan go back to the way she used to be, anything will be tried.

Cherry rubbed gently on Regan's head, her heart ached to see the son expecting others as his Papa. He could not accept another man in his life.

Today Romi came to visit, his busy life made him no time to just meet the Cherries. If not spared even today he will fail again, while longing began to seize his mind.

"Where's Regan?" after sipping coffee made by Cherry.

"There's in his room, the tumben is not the same Aunt Tina?" now they both sit on the porch.

"Same mama is not free, want to talk to kangen you just I'm awkward. Haven't you seen me in a few weeks, don't you miss me? I work in Jakarta for you. I want us to be close."

Cherry took a deep breath, she knew where Romi was talking. Cherry looked at the face of Romi who now also looked at her with hope.

"Honestly I haven't been able to open my heart to anyone, after all Reno's departure hasn't been in a year. It is not that easy to forget while the heart is still reluctant to leave everything about him. Rom, don't do anything just for me. Because I don't want to be disappointed."

Cherry turned her gaze towards the front, an empty gaze hinting at the grief she was suffering from.

" I'm not the woman Rom could have hoped for. I am only the widow of two children who live in her dead husband. You've never been married, shouldn't you look for the same as your status? if you stay here just for me, not only am I afraid of disappointing you but I don't want our friendship to be ruined just because I don't return your feelings."

"Cer.but I'm serious and this heart is the same. I've tried to open my heart to others, but the results are nil. I just want you." Romi tried to hold Cherry's hand, but the Cherries quickly dodged. Seeing that Romi understood, he was not angry but tried to understand if the Cherries were now maintaining boundaries.

"Please open your heart to me."

Cherries are confused as to what to answer, while the heart cannot be forced. In addition, the problem of Regan who really wants Tio as his Papah is not over.

"Give me time Rom, I'll try to make peace with my heart. And I'm gonna ask Regan first."

After Romi returned from his home, now Cheri seemed to think what steps she should take. Cherry looked at Regan who was now sound asleep. His body began to look change because it had begun to have difficulty eating.

Cherry cannot ask Tio to return to the trust of her papa, or to open her heart to Romi so that Regan can still get the love of a Papah as she wants.

This morning Cherry was neat, before she had washed Rayya and prepared a change of clothes for Regan. Despite the weekend, Cherries get used to their children not lazing to clean themselves.

As usual Rayya will fall asleep after bathing and given ASI. It's time for Cherry to persuade Regan to have breakfast. Entering her son's room, she sits next to the bed, and Regan is silent.

"But Regan isn't hungry yet Mah" he replied.

"You'll wait for Regan to eat. If Regan doesn't eat, Mama won't eat." Cherry tried to be patient with her son. I don't know when Regan's gonna be like this. Tio's wedding is only a week away.

"You don't follow Regan, you'll be sick."

"Let's just mamah sick, you can eat together with a mama hero," Ceri began to smile when she saw Regan who thought then got out of bed and out of the room.

Now that both are at the dining table, Cherries swiftly fill Regan's dishes with rice, vegetables and favorite side dishes Regan.

"This is honey, want a bribe?"

"No, Regan's grown up. Regan eats alone" he said with a flat face but it makes Cherries anxious. He is grateful that Regan wants to eat again and hopes that this time the dishes are clean, leaving not much rice as is his habit lately.

The two ate and there was no more talk. Cherry smiled at Regan's plate, although there was still at least a lot left over that her son had eaten.

"Where are you going, son?"

"Regan wants to sit outside" Regan's Sunday habit arrives. Will sit outside waiting for Tio to come and it can not prevent Cherries.

"Assynoltom..."

"Wa'allaikumsalam Oma." Regan immediately approached and cried in her arms.

"Why are you crying, son?" tanyanya, then looked at Cherry with a questioning face.

"Regan misses Om Tio, where's Om Tio Oma?" she asked in between heartbreaking tears.

"Om Tio is busy, my grandmother is here to see Regan and Rayya. Oma misses you guys" he said, then asked Regan to sit on the couch.

Cherry came to bring drinks, she sat down and saw the face of the son who was so disappointed.

"Are you busy getting married to a fierce aunt?"

Mamah Tio looked stunned at Regan's question and Cherries looked bad. But then he found out who Regan meant.

"Auntie Tiwi?"

"Yes Oma.

Mamah Tio smiled at Regan who looked sulky, "Yes son, next week Regan comes yes, Oma has prepared clothes for Regan, Rayya and mamah. Here, Oma has brought her dress to Om Tio's wedding invitation." Mamah Tio put the paper bag on the table but how surprised he was when he heard Regan's speech.

"Om Tio doesn't love Regan, Regan wants Om Tio to be Papah Regan Oma!" exclaiming Regan then went to the room with tears.
