“Where have you been, Mas?! New clock coming home?!”
Rania welcomes Aditya home with a sour face, coupled with a series of questions like an investigator from the police. Aditya is silent, not intending to answer Rania's question. It had been a week since the commotion that morning, Aditya spent more time in the office. Whether it was to do his chores, or just to rest in his room until late at night. This he did so that the wife knew what it was like to see our partner every day coming home from work almost midnight.
“Don't try to play me, Mas. I called your secretary. He said tonight there's no overtime. So, where...”.
Aditya stepped into the guest room, a room that had been his private room for a year. He did not care at all what Rania said, trying not to be provoked to answer the woman's question, what else until the emotions.
“MAS!! I'M TALKING!!”
Rania shouted in front of the door of the room that had been locked from the inside, while banging on the door violently.
“OPEN THE DOOR, MAS!! I'M TALKING!!”
Aditya remained silent, walked casually into the bathroom that was inside the room, then closed the bathroom door. For a while the sound of screaming and pounding on the door of the room was still heard, but Aditya still did not care. Until Rania finally gave up, she returned to her room with rough steps. Aditya turns on the shower, then lets cold water water his tired and sticky body.

“Mbak!! Sister Sarah!! My breakfast...”
“Mbak Sarah I fired!!”
Aditya turned around to stare at Rania, his emotions started to get provoked this time. Already Rania did not want to prepare breakfast for him, she even sacked the housekeeper in this house.
Not wanting to drown in emotion, Aditya turned towards the door of the house to go to the car.
“Mas!! You forgot something!!”
Aditya stopped his steps, then turned around to look at Rania. Aditya already knows where Rania is going, but he still tries to relax like people do not know.
“What?!” Ask Aditya in a harsh tone.
“What?! Koq what, anyway?! You forgot what date it is?!” Rania answered with a question as well.
“Date one.”
“Trus?!”
“Trus what?!”
Rania snorted in annoyance, she knew her husband was pretending not to know at the moment.
“Where's the living for me? For my mother and sisters. This month Miss and Rahma have to pay for the exam money, so please overdo it!!”
Aditya smiled cynically because his guess was correct. So, Rania came home early last night and woke up early only to demand something she thought was her right. Rania never forgot the rights she had to get as a wife, but about the obligations of a wife, she did not want to know at all.
“You will also work, every day no matter the red date. Even on Sundays you go to work. Starting from eight in the morning, until one in the evening. I'm sure your salary is already much higher than the salary I receive each month. Why isn't it your salary money that you use to fund the lives of your mothers and sisters?”
Rania glared furiously at Aditya's words, her chest descending up in anger.
“How can that be?! I'm still your wife, Mom!! All my needs are your responsibility!!”
“THEN WHAT ABOUT MY NEEDS?! WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FULFILLING
ALL MY NEEDS?!”
Rania jumped in shock, jumping back a few steps to hear Aditya's rude scream.
“Even to prepare my clothes and breakfast you don't want to!! Now you're clamoring about responsibility!! What about your responsibility?! Ha?!”
“But I'm not a maid, Mas!! I'm a career woman!! I work too!!”
“And I'm not an ATM machine!! I am a living being, not a dead thing!! If you don't want to take care of my needs, why did you dismiss the housekeeper?! Who do you expect to take care of me in this house?! MYSELF?! WHILE YOU ARE SOLELY MAKING A LIVING FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?! SHIT**, YOU!!”
Aditya quickly turned around and left Rania who was still angry.
“ARGGGHHHHH!!! WATCH OUT FOR YOU, MASSSSS!!!”

“So you took a leave of absence, Dit?”
Tio, Aditya's best friend and co-worker immediately threw a question to Aditya once he was in Aditya's workspace.
“So, Yo! Tonight I went straight to the village!” Aditya replied.
“Yeah... Calm your heart and mind!! I'm afraid you'll lose your sanity if you don't take the time to heal. Money a lot, soul disturbed, not funny also sounds,” said Tio in a joking tone, Aditya laughed a little at the words of his best friend. Although it was delivered in a joking tone, but that was the real fear Tio felt at this time.
“I miss Mom, Yo.. Coincidentally Zidan graduation day after tomorrow, so I can attend the graduation event as well,” said Aditya.
“Wah... Finished also the diploma of the village hero!! I haven't seen him in a long time either. Last time he met, he was still second grade High School.”
“Udah insyaf him, Yo. Since Mom fell in the bathroom three years ago. He was afraid of being left by Mom,” said Aditya.
“Who is not afraid of being left by Mom, Dit. That's why I took my mom to live with me. Fortunately my wife is understanding and I also do not. Two of my beloved women so they can get along until now,” said Tio proud of the condition of his family that always get along.
“If only Rania had half the nature of your wife. I am sure our household will be adem ayem,” said Aditya lirih. Tio so felt a little guilty for already proud of his household life to Adit earlier.
“Yah.. The path of human life is different, Dit. God is Most Fair. He has given the right portion to each creature. I have a very kind and patient wife, but you know that our marriage to date has not received the blessing of both of my wife's parents. Even until now, my two in-laws still like to divide our marriage,” said Tio lirih.
“They thought that I had ruined her daughter's future by getting her married, their expectations for my wife were very high. They want my wife to be a great and successful lawyer, to marry a lawyer, and to have her daughter's life assured. Though until now, the life of his daughter is very guaranteed koq, even without financial help from his parents.”
“While you are, your in-laws love you very much. Your mother-in-law is very happy to accept you as her daughter-in-law, she is very proud of you. Only your wife's attitude is the problem right now. So, we are two humans with different portions of the problem. The point is we have to be grateful for whatever we get at the moment, Dit.” Tio closed his sentence while getting up on his feet.
“Lunch, yok!! I'm hungry!!” Tio invited Aditya to lunch, because the break had already passed fifteen minutes.
Aditya got up from his seat of greatness, then came out of the table. The two friends immediately stepped out of Aditya's study room together.
