Nia woke up and got up from her sleep, she sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the nightstand. There are two slices of bread with jam on one plate, a small bottle of vitamins, a few tablets in a plastic package, a glass of orange, a glass of fresh milk and a bottle of mineral water.
Nia grabbed a bottle of mineral water and drank it. When he was about to stand, the door of the room opened looking Robin carrying a plate of various pieces of fruit.
"Finally you wake up too" Robin said.
"Who is this for?"
"For you!"
"I? Tumben," said Nia.
"Doctor said you're pregnant, so I don't want anything to happen to my future son" Robin said unknowingly.
"Kids?" Nia laughed cynically.
"Yes, the fetus you're in is my son."
"Don't you want this kid?" Nia reminded her husband of that
Robin was speechless, a few hours ago he said he would not admit and pay for his future son.
Nia stood holding the wall of the room, her body almost fell but Robin swiftly helped her. "I can do it myself!" he said in a cold tone.
Robin let go of his grasp.
Nia went to the bathroom, while her husband waited at the door. Not until 5 minutes, he came out and was surprised to see the man who married him 6 weeks ago standing in front of him. "Do you want to go to the bathroom?"
"I'm waiting for you and making sure you're okay" Robin said.
"Why are you so attentive to me now?"
"I'm doing it for the sake of the fetus in your stomach."
...****************...
A month later....
Robin's extended family came to visit her apartment without prior notice.
Yes, Mama Carla who most enthusiastically visited her son let alone heard him married. He finally had time to come to his birthplace.
Nia was still mopping the floor in a negligee dress while her husband sat back and enjoyed the snacks he made while playing his phone.
The bell rang repeatedly, but no one moved to open it.
"Didn't you hear it?" Robin Syndicate.
"I heard and was busy, didn't you do nothing?" Nia replied insinuatingly.
"I'm running an office job, just leave it."
Nia snorted in annoyance, she slammed the mop handle onto the floor until it sounded loud. With an annoyed face he walked towards the door. Not yet, her husband had already pulled her body.
"You didn't want to open it" he grumbled.
Nia was astonished by her husband's changing attitude.
Robin opened the door and smiled. "Mama!" sapana.
"Once open the door!" nagel Carla.
"Sister, we'd like to meet your wife. Where is he?" ask Robin's sister.
"Hi, everybody!" greet Nia who was already standing behind her husband.
"Well, here it is," Robin embraced his wife's affection.
"Geez, my daughter-in-law is beautiful too" Carla said.
"Thank you, Ma." Nia answered with a smile.
"Sister, I'm very thirsty" said Arum.
"Let me make it," Nia went to the kitchen.
Mama and sister Robin sat in the living room telling stories while waiting for her daughter-in-law to make a drink.
Shortly afterwards, Nia brought 4 glasses of drink. She also presented it to her husband's family. Just a few seconds of sitting down, his stomach suddenly churned. Quickly, Nia closed her mouth about to vomit.
Nia's attitude made her in-laws and sister-in-law turn her eyes to him as well as her husband.
Nia ran towards the sink and vomited out her entrails.
"Is she pregnant?" ask Carla.
Robin nodded slowly.
"Well, I finally have a nephew" said Arum excitedly.
"You have to move immediately to Papa's house" Carla said.
"Why should it be there, Ma?" ask Robin.
"Here the house is spacious and there are several servants, Mama wants Nia not to be too exhausted during pregnancy," replied Carla.
"Robin wants to be here, Ma." Resist.
"You mustn't be selfish, Robin. Mama wants food and health needs of my son-in-law awake. Here, he does it himself" Carla said.
"Who said, Ma?" ask Robin.
"That's a mop," Carla pointed at the floor. "And your wife used a negligee, which means you told her to clean this up. Don't you feel sorry for her who's pregnant?" his nag.
"Ma, he asked for it" Robin lied.
"The age of your wife's womb seems very young, Mama doesn't want anything to happen with my future grandchildren" Carla said.
"Alright, Ma. We're gonna move there," Robin finally resigned and relented.
