From Heart to Heart.

Darel hugged them back, it felt so hard to leave the children he had just met. Darel continued to rub their backs affectionately.

"Learn well and follow activities outside of school hours as well. If you like music, follow it and study hard." Darel said slowly.

"Daddy will support, if that's what you like. Not because of Daddy, but because you like him." Darel said, keep hugging them. Both of her children nodded with already teary eyes.

"Daddy knows, you're our good kids. You always listen and do Mommy and Oma's advice. Daddy hopes you guys stay that way. According to what Mommy and Oma said." Darel said, hugging them tightly and kissing their heads in turn.

"Now pray and rest..." Darel then asked them to pray. Ephraim and Ephrima prayed with tears flowing.

"Good Night, Daddy." Ephraim and Ephrima said after they prayed.

"Good Night's..." Darel hugged and kissed her children once more and enveloped them. After that he closed the door of the room, then went out to meet Kandara.

When Darel arrived at Kandara's room, he had fallen asleep. Seeing that, Darel sat in. 'Because must be tired from carrying the car to Pucak Pas, so he fell asleep, waiting for me.'

Darel tidied up the blanket and lay down beside her slowly. Kandara, who had fallen asleep, felt that there was someone beside her. He was shocked and immediately got up and sat down. He sat down while gathering his consciousness by staring at Darel.

Looking at Kandara's face thus, Darel smiled faintly. "Daraa, it's me, Darel. I'm sober again, so won't make the same mistake a second time. Lie down again." said Darel, patting the spot beside him. Darel thought, maybe Kandara is still traumatized by past events.

Kandara slowly laid her body beside Darel. "I just want to hug you, because tomorrow I'm going back to Seoul." Say Darel while hugging Kandara and rubbing Kandara's back to calm her down.

Kandara slowly and calmly enjoys Darel's affection for him. Kandara dipped her face in Darel's chest and breathed in the body fragrance she had always missed.

"I know, there's a lot of questions on your mind. Ask." Say Darel again. Kandara pulled her face and body from Darel's embrace, then nodded.

"Where do you know where I am and the kids are?" Kandara asked, because she wanted to know, why Darel could come to see her with the kids. He had covered up their existence enough.

"It must be this question that's been bothering you since yesterday, hasn't it?" Darel replied while propping up his cheek with his left hand. Kandara nodded.

"I know from Ephra." Darel.

"From Ephra?" Kandara asked in surprise and Darel nodded.

"Still remember some time ago Efra went to Seoul with her friends?" Darel asked, and Kandara nodded while recalling the activities Efraim had followed with his friends at the music school in mid-May.

"That's when I met Ephra. He and his friends play music at the Relkha Mall. The one who met him was Micah. When she saw Efra's face like mine, Micah called me asking me to come to the Mall." Darel recounts his meeting with Ephra.

Kandara heard in amazement. "But why didn't Ephra tell me that he had met his Daddy?" Ask Kandara wonder.

"I forbid him, lest he tell the meeting to his Mommy." Darel. 

"But why is that?" Ask Kandara again.

"Because I haven't met and know Mommy's heart to me. I'm afraid Mommy's gone again." Said Darel while playing his eyebrows. Kandara smiled, seeing what Darel was doing.

On the sidelines of her smile, Kandara thought that maybe Darel also wanted to ask her something. "What do you want to ask me?" Ask Kandara.

"Are you done with your question?" Tanya Darel stroked Kandara's cheeks gently.

"There is, but take turns. You'd want to ask, too, wouldn't you?" Kandara asked, as she thought, there might be something Darel wanted to ask.

"Yeah, right. I have a lot to ask, but I'm going to start with the kids. Mm mm... Why don't you tell me about your pregnancy." Ask Darel, seriously. Kandara took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly.

"The incident was unexpected and the occurrence was lucky. What happened between us, my breakup with Lucha, then my pregnancy. All of that shocked me so much that I couldn't think well." Kandara told me slowly.

"I promised you I wouldn't bother you and my heart always wanted to protect you. That makes me very confused. If they remain pregnant, they will be born without a father. If I abort, I become a murderer." Kandara said remembering the incident 10 years ago.

"I talked to Mama. Mama can accept my explanation. Especially after knowing the baby in my womb twins. My mother supported me to take care of them. I finally accepted and lived it." Say Kandara again.

"You must have been very troubled and suffered during your life." Darel said and hugged Kandara tightly. Darel imagined the condition of Kandara at that time, when he found out she was pregnant. Darel kissed the top of his head, lamaaa.

Kandara loosened her head to look at Darel's face with a bursting heart, feeling Darel's affection for her.

"Yaaa, sometimes there are times when I have difficulties in pregnancy and when the children are young. Especially when they're sick, sometimes I'm encouraged to send you a message.

But my heart always hesitates and worries, maybe you've had a lover and lived a happy life." Kandara said again, recalling the times she almost contacted Darel.

"It made me undo my intentions and persevere to live out what had been my choice. Living with the kids and Mama." Kandara kept telling me what happened to her.

"At such times, I can only pray and hope, let the will of God be upon my life and children." Said Kandara, and Darel heard in silence.

"But, do you know, there are things that lighten and comfort me in such times?" Kandara asked as she looked at Darel.

"What's that?" Darel asked while looking at him deeply.

"Your jackets always help me."

"Jacketku...? You mean...?

"Yes, your jacket that I was under at the time." Said Kandara, with a smiling heart.

"Aah, yeah. I remember, but what does that have to do?" Darel asked did not understand.

"When pregnant, sometimes I feel nauseous, dizzy or restless. So I can't eat or sleep well. Under such conditions, I would kiss or put your jacket over my stomach. Instantly it all diminished and was able to sleep quietly." Said Kandara and Darel heard Kandara's story in amazement.

"When children are born, sometimes they get sick. Sometimes they're hot, feverish or fussy, I'll cover them with your jacket alternately. After that they will get better, calm down and fall asleep."

"REally...?" Darel asked, unable to believe it. Kandara nodded.

"Maybe it's the smell of your body that makes them feel your presence. So that your jacket I never washed until now." Said Kandara with a flushed face in embarrassment.

'Thanks Lord. You have helped and protected them in a way I could not have thought of.' Darel was grateful in his heart.

Darel recalls the request of his two shirts from Efraim. 'Could it be because since in the womb they have been used to it?' Thought and nodded.

"Well, I'd love to hear stories about you, about the kids and Mama. About all the things and everyone that's been around you for the last 10 years." Darel said with a moved heart.
