"Yes, right. This is my own," replied Agus when he heard his name spoken by someone from across there.

"WHAT? AN ACCIDENT? THEN HOW ARE THEY DOING?" Pekik Agus when getting news about the accident that befell his wife and daughter. It felt as if his world had stopped instantly along with his thumping heartbeat.

"Ba-good. I'll be there soon," after saying that, Agus immediately left his restaurant. His face look very tense along with his hasty footsteps. All the people and visitors who still crowded the restaurant looked astonished. It was the first time they had seen the nervous face of the restaurant owner.

"What's wrong with Agus?"

"Why am I so nervous?"

There were rumors from some restaurant waiters who accidentally saw the departure of Agus. They were wondering what was going on right now. Moreover, there has been a great quarrel before between Agus, Santi, and also Nesti.

His face was very tense as he headed towards the reception desk there. He saw some people greeting him and asked what Agus needed.

"Where was the accident patient? Two women and one of them is pregnant." Agus. One of the officers immediately checked his records.

"Are you ready, sir?" Ask.

"I'm the woman's father and husband."

"Right now they're still in the handling room, sir. Please wait there," said the officer, pointing to a row of chairs in front of the room not far from where he stood. With lethargy Agus nodded in understanding and followed the direction of the officer.

Agus waited with his uneasy feeling. A flashback of all his life's journeys with his wife and son made him unable to stop the pace of his tears. So much love, sacrifice, and loyalty of the wife to him. But instead he retaliated with a great betrayal and crime he had done.

There is no such thing as regret at the beginning, it will happen at the end. And this was when Agus could feel what regret meant. All this time his eyes were blinded by the mass love that still haunts him until now. He was not a stern man who could resist the seduction of other women like Nesti.

Agus does not have the soul of a leader, until he does not have the nature of a successful entrepreneur. Therefore, the wife who had always been by his side all this time. But Agus seems to close his eyes, he prefers selfish by holding two hands at once. Although he knew, a skipper could not control two ships at once or he would lose one or even both.

"So this is it, sir. Sorry in advance if we had to ask this when you were sad, but we could not do anything about it. We want to ask if Mr Agus has any enemies lately?" Ask the police suddenly. Agus' forehead was wrinkled, he did not expect to get such questions from the police.

"No, Sir. I never got involved with anyone. What's wrong, sir?" Ask Agus back to both. The policeman looked at each other then was one of him little nods made his friend understand.

"So this is it, sir. After we checked the road cctv and according to eyewitnesses who were at the scene, we get information if there is another car that peddled to hit the car bamper owned by the father's wife to make the fatal accident happen. And to prove it, we also have evidence. But we did not manage to find the owner of the mysterious car because there was no license plate.

Agus' heart seemed to be squeezed for a moment. He did not expect if Santi and Melinda were involved in a fatal accident. In Agus's mind, Santi and Melinda had a pure accident. Agus looked dumb, his mind blank suddenly after knowing the bitter reality about the two of them.

"No-no, Mr. cop. I have never had enemies nor offended anyone else." Squeak Agus with his eyes blank. The two policemen understood what Agus felt. That's why the two ended their interview session with the man.

'Whoever harms my wife and children, I swear to you will repay them a thousand times what you did. Wait for my arrival, ' Agus said in his heart. He swore in the name of God to eliminate the man who had hurt his family. Not natural then Agus reached into his pocket and took his phone.

"Investigate this accident. Now, I want to hear the results in less than twenty hours. Understood?" After saying that, Agus closed the call connection directly. Both of his eyes were emitting rays of vengeful flames on the person who had touched his family.

The door of the room opens. Agus quickly wiped away his tear marks and as fast as lightning approached a doctor who came out of the room.

"How's my wife and son doing, doc?" Agus asked tremblingly. His mind was already raging at the thought of his family's current fate.

"Bu Santi's condition is much better, there are no serious injuries to him." Said the doctor. There was relief felt by Agus. The man glorified his words of gratitude to the Lord for granting his prayers.

"What about my son, Doc? What about my granddaughter?" Ask the doctor. But the doctor's face turned sad. Agus who saw it felt as if something hit his heart hard.

"I'm sorry, Mr .... "
