episode 17: Departure to the imperial palace

Under the male servant's guidance, Su Luxie and Merlyn walked unsuspectingly so that they both arrived at a room that had a slightly corner position from the other room.
The man's servant immediately allowed the two of them to enter the room by opening the door of the room.
Without wanting to waste much time, Su Luxie and Merlyn, finally entered the room and began to look around.
But something unexpected happened. Su Luxie was stunned for a moment to see a figure that was so familiar to her.

Merlyn was speechless as she looked at Su Luxie in confusion. While looking also at the person who had made Su Luxie stunned and silent like that.
"Sir Gu, are you here?" Su Luxie asked with an awkward smile to the person she called, Mr. Gu.
Pak Gu turned his head, he smiled at Su Luxie and then said. "It's been a while, Miss Su." His word.
The man with the characteristic fragrance of aromatherapy looked so respectful and affectionate. His face was always plastered with a sincere smile.
Su Luxie swept through all the rooms with her neutrals, and then she looked back to, sir Gu.
"...well, it's been a long time since we met," he said. "Can I sit down?" Further asked.
"Of course, please sit down."
Su Luxie sat right in front of Pak Gu while staring at Merlyn who was still standing with her head lowered.
"Merlyn, sit down." Said Su Luxie inviting Merlyn to sit next to her.
Merlin initially refused, but Su Luxie continued to plead with Merlyn. Inevitably, Merlyn, had to sit there and join the chat of the two humans in front of her.
"This guy? Miss has never introduced this man to me before?" Bantin Merlyn felt foreign to the man beside her.
"Sir Gu, how do you know I'm here?" Su Luxie asked in confusion. Why did Mr. Gu know of his whereabouts without even looking at it. Even logically, Mr. Gu, will not be able to peek because his room is at the corner of the other rooms.
"It's not hard to know where you are. You have a strong medicinal spirit scent. I took the initiative to have my right hand look down to make sure. It was unexpected that you were looking for an empty room, so I took the opportunity to call you here." Pak Gu answered clearly to Su Luxie.

Su Luxie looked at Merlyn as she said, "I want to go to the imperial palace to check on the emperor's grievances. But you know that I've always hidden my identity. There's no way I'm going with Su's identity so making my plans fail later. So I asked Merlyn to do something in preparation for me to go there for a few days." Obviously Su Luxie at length.
"Go to the imperial palace? But you know, if the imperial palace is a dangerous place?!"
"I'm not suggesting you go there. You're a businessman who has started to dominate the empire. The imperial factions were obviously not happy about it. They felt anxious and tried to destroy the nobles who had surpassed them."
That all-shady face suddenly turned into worry for Su Luxie's actions which she thought were too rash.
Su Luxie would know about it. He didn't mind Pak Gu's nagging at him. Even he nodded as if he understood what would happen if the empire acted.
"Well... The factions in the empire were always cracking down on any nobles who were too beyond the royal family. They were afraid of being desired because of an existence and power that would be split in two."
"I can't deny there would be such a terrible thing if the imperial side intervened."
"But I know clearly. Only the imperial factions were so obsessed with it. Except, emperor. The emperor was always generous and wise. He was an emperor who had both logic and a very deep understanding."
"There's no harm, right? If you have to take the emperor's heart to be by my side, then where is his fault?"
Su Luxie whispered in her heart while smiling behind her bright veil.
Yes, it is true that the imperial side is a little unfairly behaving. But it was also undeniable that the imperial side wanted something balanced for their empire.

They kept chatting about the plan they were going to do in the future. Until 10:30 Su Luxie and Merlyn decided to continue their journey towards the Xiao empire with their disguises.
They are seen wearing black robes and white rabbit masks.
They boarded a horse-drawn carriage which they rented in a chariot tenant service so as not to be too suspected by others or the empire.
The journey continues. In the middle of the journey, Su Luxie does something with her new skill, where the gas is poisonous.
During the several months of confining himself, Su Luxie developed this ability and ended up fruitfully sweet.
That skill was like a level 10 killing machine that Su Luxie had successfully developed.
The poisonous gas had a pitch-black light and was also slightly greenish. Surely it could only be seen by certain factions who had cultivation at least as high as the late heavens.
Su Luxie continued to play where the poisonous gas was to the grasses they passed through. The grass ended so badly. With conditions that have dried up and even become an ash. In fact, the land adjacent to the grasses turned black as if it had become barren in an instant.
