"But why- "Why did Liam admit it was him? It was because after his mental accident was interrupted, he was devastated, his son died even though he was not actually a biological son, and Liora just left him, the company on the verge of bankruptcy" it was clearly Adam who had been taking care of and watching over Liam.
"His mental condition always claims that he is the culprit, the excessive anxiety disorder and the negative experiences that cause him stress and psychological trauma, you can trust me. Right now I'm talking as doctor Liam not Adam so please consider Karin"
"You can hate me, but don't go Karin" the voice broke Karin's concentration which instantly turned around, her eyes widening as she saw Liam standing behind her chair. "You lied Dam!" karin said disappointedly while grunting a smile, then within a second his facial expression turned flat.
Karin got up from her chair, grabbed the bag and immediately stepped on her feet to leave, but Liam had already restrained his arm.
"I promise I won't repeat it, just one chance for me to fix it" Liam pleaded, for some reason his heart ached when he saw Karin leave him. One day not seeing Karin at home was more painful than Liora's betrayal.
Karin roughly threw out her breath, then turned around. "I can't give a chance to a man who still remembers his past!" He remembered how Liora's picture was still in Liam's study.
"You still don't throw that away?" jayden whispered a little upset.
"Wait!" Liam took something out of his pants pocket and it was seen by Karin who widened his eyes in shock, "One chance, I'll give this" Karin moved quickly to grab the necklace in Liam's hand, but unfortunately the man read his movements and moved faster raising his hand.
"You used my mother's necklace?"
"There's no choice"
Karin snorted in annoyance, "Give me, I'll think about it"
"No, until you get back home and give me a chance"
"Suck!" He then turned around while walking towards the exit.
But Liam even counted down, "two, ti-" Karin turned around as she expected making Liam pull a smile. "OK, but give me back my mother's necklace! I'll come back and give you a chance" he immediately asked for the necklace from Liam.
"Then let's go" instead of handing over, Liam instead took her away. "Where?"
"To your house take a suitcase" She walked quickly in front leaving Karin who could only stomp her legs annoyed then followed Liam, The necklace Liam held was a necklace that meant a lot to Karin.
Jayden stood parallel next to Adam, he clapped "Liam is a real land crocodile, said sweet words to Karin but still kept a photo of Liora." smilingly looking at Adam and Juan alternately.
"I don't even know how he can use his own weakness to pull Karin" Adam shook his head in an inexhaustible manner. "when he himself confessed and caused trouble" Juan said. "And he himself was looking for a way out" Jayden continued, recalling their conversation at Liam's apartment last night.
The three of them sat down on the chairs, choosing to finish the dish Liam ordered while talking about Liora's matter.
