Milky Way: VALLENA's

Milky Way: VALLENA's
Chapter 4: The Song of a Mother

Rain rained all over the city. Leave some busy and confused humans to find shelter. Several large flashes hit an electric pole at a crossroads. Putting some of the city's electricity out.

Vall continued to step in for a ride to get to the nearest hospital. But no car would give you a ride. Not giving up there, Vall banged on several doors and gates of residents around. But no one wants to help him either.

Amidst the rush of rain, Vall carried Lena on his back wrapped in a blanket that he tied his potluck. He screamed constantly for help from some people along the way. But no one wants to interfere. Some of them were recording with their cell phones. Blood kept flowing falling from the feet to the ground.

Lena's body began to cool and turn pale, so much blood that she was so bad that she fainted so many times. Her stiff lips kissed Vall's shoulder. There are no words from him, but he hopes, Vall knows that he is very happy and feels lucky to have a friend like Vall.

After wandering around various places, Vall was finally helped by a man who happened to pass by and was about to go home. Take Lena and Vall with the car. In the car, Vall seemed confused by the blood of lena dripping in various corners of the car seat. Vall tried to keep wiping and wiping with his own clothes.

“let's. I'll clean it myself. What you're doing is just gonna make me feel like people don't know themselves” explained the old man

At home, the middle-aged man sewed some of Lena's torn limbs.

A miracle sided with them, Lena's bleeding wound seemed to stop by itself.

Vall attempts to turn his face away as the needle penetrates repeatedly in Lena's skin.

“you're Lidya's son right?” ask the doctor

“you know my mother?”

“he's a nurse who helps me a lot. It's a pity that not just anyone can have it. Full of responsibility and attention. After this, immediately take it home, your mother is much more reliable to take care of her. His physical injuries are not too risky, I only doubt the inner wounds of this girl later” pinta doctor

Vall took out his wallet and just a few pieces of wet money he gave to the doctor

“I will pay for the shortage later” Vall said

“I don't need your pocket money. Tomorrow morning, come home soon. Don't report to the police. Whatever happens, don't deal with members of the Parlok” cartel the doctor said

The doctor leaves Vall and Lena in the room. Before long, a little girl appeared with water in a glass and some snacks.

“this is the rest of my snack, eat” said the little girl to Vall who was sitting next to Lena.

...****************...

The dark night looks increasingly intense. Suddenly it was hot, the strong wind blazed making the point of the fire point increasingly enlarged in all directions. All the buildings were devoured by the merciless red.

Vall saw Lena standing between the flames. His gaze was straight at Vall.

“The old man,. That innocent little boy, that,. All charred!!” yell Lena

Vall awoke from his dream. He just remembered, he was asleep next to Lena who was still unconscious.

Vall saw a wall clock that pointed at 5 a.m. Not wanting to burden the doctor, Vall decided to leave this place. Before leaving, Vall put some spare change at the table for a sign of thanks.

The morning weather was very cold. The fog still seemed so thick it enveloped the entire city.

Vall carried Lena on his back walking towards the house. Warm steam vapors blow in the mouth alternating with Vall's breath.

Lena's body felt heavier for him. Vall's body began to feel a tremendous pain and cape. Many times Vall tried to ask for a ride to a passing vehicle, but no one wanted to stop even just asking.

With all his best efforts, Vall managed to get to his front home. She fell to her knees trying to keep Lena.

In front of him was Vall's father who grimly held back angrily seeing his son still dealing with the indistinct woman. Even dare to bring him home.

“I don't want to know what explanation you're saying, but all I know is, I still don't allow you to take him to my house” said Vall's father.

“bring to my room” Vall's mother's orders

“no one can go against my orders!” vall's father snapped at his wife

This is the first time Vall's mother has come into contact with her husband's orders. Even her husband was silent.

Vall puts Lena's body in a small bed not far from Vall's mother's bed. Vall dropped his body against the wall. He tried to breathe properly.

“what are you doing?” ask Lidya's mother to her child who remains leaning against the wall

“ rest,.”

“I want to change Lena's clothes. Do you feel like I'm letting you in my room??”

Vall, who was still trying to catch his breath, began to try to leave his mother's room. Because of his body that was exhausted, Vall had to crawl only to get out of the room that was not too big.

Vall was sitting in front of his mother's room. Until late at night there was still no sign of Lena siuman.

Even the next day was the same, Lena showed no sign of self-consciousness.

Occasionally his mother went out of the room just to tell Vall to take some goods or drugs at the nearest pharmacy.

Despite her worries, Vall is grateful to have a mother in charge with her patients. Honey since his mother's accident, his hands aren't as good as they used to be. That's what makes the work he does always take longer than usual.

Lidya wiped the face of Lena who continued to sweat. Patiently like a mother herself, Lidya's mother waited and cared for Lena. His heart was slowly shaken. Lidya's mother feels guilty, should she try to adopt and raise Lena once.

But regret is of no use now.

Looks like Lena's body is slightly shaken. I don't know what was in his dream. His body seemed to be giving out a sign to immediately wake himself up from his stupor.

Instantly his eyes opened and looked straight at Lidya's mother's face. Slowly her eyes turned red and shed tears. His voice began to muddle. Between shouting and crying. Maybe Lena still remembers the time when she was being tortured. He also tried to bite his own hand.

Lidya's mother did not remain silent. In the embrace of Lena's body so as not to try to hurt yourself. Even if Lena bit Lidya's shoulder, there was not the slightest painful expression on her face. Just the sad face he was making at the moment. Although not her child, for Lidya's mother, it was like seeing and feeling for herself the suffering of this girl in her arms.

“ibu here. It's okay. It's okay now” said Lidya's mother patted Lena's back gently and kissed her head.

Vall, who heard a loud noise, knocked on the door and called his mother. In his heart, Vall was actually also very worried about Lena, but he could not go against his mother's orders not to enter his room.

From outside the room, Vall hears faint sounds of chanting songs sung by Lidya's mother.

Lidya's mother hugged Lena and sang traditional Javanese songs. His voice felt very soft in Vall's ears. Even Lena started to calm down as Lidya's mother stroked her like her own daughter.

At that moment Lena also briefly remembered the chanting voice that had been sung for her. His faint memory shows a vast, fertile field where many young children were happily planting and harvesting agricultural produce. Lena also recalled a glimpse of a beautiful woman singing to her with several pairs of hairbands from flowers on her head. It was clearly an L sign on his arm. Very similar to the mark on Lena's arm. A memory that explains directly that it was Lena's biological mother.

Lena who felt longed for her birth mother also reached out to her. The beautiful woman smiled at Lena.

“take me” said Lena slowly to Vall's mother whom she thought was her own.

One night, Lena woke up. She finds herself asleep in bed with Lidya's mother. Seeing Lidya's mother fall asleep and hug her from behind, Lena tried to move the calm woman's hand from her stomach slowly.

Lena started leaving the room as soon as her needle came off. With her bare feet, Lena freely went silent. He was self-conscious if his presence in this family only made a quarrel and commotion.

For the sake of his best friend, for the sake of Lidya's mother, he made up his mind to go silent even though his body did not want to get out of bed and warm blankets.

The door to the room opened slowly. Lena looked at Vall who was asleep on the floor near the entrance right facing at Lena's feet at this moment. In her heart Lena wanted to say a big thank you to this good friend of hers, but she did not want to wake her up.

Lena also began to set foot without shoes even slippers even out of the house. Seemed a lonely yard just a few dog howls in some houses that clashed with each other for a moment.

Lena saw a man standing and leaning against the tree in the yard. Vall's father smokes his cigarette and starts to step closer to Lena. In front of Lena, Vall's father patted Lena's shoulder softly without a word and then went into the house.it was as if he was cheering on Lena's choice to immediately go silent from her house.

Lena walked without direction. He doesn't know where to go or who to complain to. In his heart only thought to better remember his past so that he could go back to his parents.

The more Lena thought, the more hurt her weak heart became. He put his body on the side of the road. Lidya's mother's clothes that she wore seemed to wrap her up like an old mother's mother who could not resist fatigue. Tired of physicality and heart. Both of his hands closed both of his eyes. Sometimes he gets up, and then he starts to sit and hug his legs. The star in the sky is currently bearing witness to a young girl struggling for a strong heart in solitude.
