Responsibilities

Hanum is now at the hotel with his mom and dad. Today Zoya and Hans are going home first.

"Num, if anyone's not being nice, you say Papa. Papa will love lessons, how to treat others well." said Hans made Zoya glare at the man who is now sitting on the sofa with his daughter. Hans felt that his besieging was unable to accept Hanum well.

"Nothing, Pa. Hanum felt that the people closest to Hanum were very kind." replied Hanum still leaning on his papa's arm. He actually understood the meaning of the sentence spoken by his first love.

"Don't like to make things worse with our arrogance, Mas. If that happens, we're not much different from them." Zoya sighed furiously. But that sentence did not astonish Hans. Such was his wife, whether made of what his heart was aware of it.

Hans smiled at Zoya. His gaze was still the same as before, full of love for the woman who always made him fall in love.

"Ehm... The world doesn't just belong to Papa and Mam." Hanum's great-grandson.

Zoya simply fell silent, the woman then continued packing with a blushing face. Hans Satria Jagad, he always managed to make Zoya's heart always flowery.

After all the belongings were transported by the family driver into the car, they walked out of the room to check out.

"Thank you, Ma. Mom is the best. And, everything would be fine if there was Mama." said Hanum while they were in the parking lot.

"Same-same. Mama just wants Mama's daughter to be happy." Zoya then hugs Hanum affectionately. She hoped her daughter could take all the wisdom out of every walk of life she took.

"Do your best in life! Later everything will be accounted for." whispered Zoya made Hanum nod. Zoya is getting chatty because she feels she always has an obligation to remind their children.

"Come, Zoy. Let's not go last night! " Hans approaches Zoya after checking the items that went into the car.

"Be careful, Ma. If you see Papa like this, Hanum is horrified if there's a sugar baby." Hanum noticed Hans was still so cool as sunglasses perched on his face. The body that still looks sixpack because of the exercise, covering wrinkles that began to be seen forming the line of his face.

"Huusshhh.. Don't be your stove! Papa's love is stuck in Mama. Women are special and there is no appeal." Hans replied by embracing Zoya and kissing the top of his wife's head.

" Remember age, Mom. The device, already on peek, why is it still minggombal." Zoya's son made Hanum chuckle. He could also see the white hair that had started a lot on his papa's head.

"Loh, the older the love becomes, Zoy."

"Already, let's go." Zoya asked Hans to chuckle, she knew his wife was blushing with embarrassment. Things never change for Zoya when she seduces him.

Hanum hugged his parents as a farewell greeting. The girl looked at her happy-looking parents, hoping that her marriage would be like that.

"Get yourself well!" hans told Hanum before the car drove away from the hotel parking lot.

Hanum smiled too. He was lucky to have a very happy family and to have a lot of love.

"I should have been able to accept Arkha's wife for who she was. Arkha was ashamed of her mother's attitude." - Arkha, when the room contained only Arkha and her mother. A disappointed look emanated from the handsome face of the man.

"Mother just wants you to get the best." replied Arini looking into her son's eyes. She understood very well that Arkha was holding back her anger.

" One is happy not just from the material side, ma'am. Arkha loves Hanum, only he can make Arkha's heart happy. Arkha also needs a righteous woman who will educate Arkha's children to be righteous children. " continued Arkha made Arini speechless. Arkha tried as gently as possible to talk to her mother.

The mood was silent again. The woman stared fixedly at the son who was a witness to her family's struggle in improving their economic life.

"Mother doesn't want our difficulties to come back" Arini continued to make Arkha smile.

"Arkha needs a righteous woman, to be able to remind Arkha of Arkha's responsibility as a righteous man and child." Arkha's last sentence made Arini shed tears. All this time he had forgotten that a good boy was all he needed, not a rich son. Whatever a child has no effect on him if he is not good. But a good child will always care for his parents even though he is not rich.

"I'm sorry Mom, son." said Arini. There was a sense of haru in his heart, his son was now a mature man of good heart and responsibility.

"Don't say that to Arkha, Ma'am" Arkha continued to make Arini understand what her son wanted.

"Assalamu'alaikum.". "the soft voice was heard along with the door of the room opened.

"Walaikumsalam .. "answer the two almost simultaneously.

Hanum walked up to Arkha who was sitting beside the bed where Arini was lying. Then kissed her husband's back, after which she looked at her mother-in-law doubtfully.

"I'm sorry Mom, Num." Arini could no longer say, her eyes glazed over. Hanum who saw it became unbearable.

"Don't think about it, Mom. Hanum, too much wrong, had fought Mother." replied Hanum then approached Arini, his hands clasping her wrinkled fingers.

The old woman could understand what her son had said. What a man needs is a righteous woman, who can maintain family relationships and can remind about kindness.

"Blessed are you, Mother of Ridho." Hearing everything coming out of her lips in-laws made Hanum's heart feel full, nothing stuck anymore between her relationship with the man who holds the title of husband. Arkha also grasped his wife's hand, his heart was no less happy.

"Thank you, Mom. May you also always be given happiness and blessings." replied Hanum when hugging her in-laws.

They are swept away with happiness and sincerity. Outside the room, Kania was ready to go inside, before the girl waited outside the room when she knew her brother-in-law and mother were expressing affection for each other.

"Ehm... Assalamu'alaikum." Kania went in and approached everyone.

"Waalaikum salam." they answered in unison.

Arini saw her daughter walking closer with a smile. Then his gaze turned to Arkha and Hanum. He was relieved and happy to be surrounded by his son-in-law.

"Mom, Arkha's back tomorrow! A lot of work is waiting" Arkha said. The man could see the disappointed look on his son.

"Will you stay with us? If you want, we can pick up Mom when you feel strong." continued Hanum when he saw a tinge of sadness.

"No need, Nduk." answered Arini heavily.

"It's okay, Mom. A mother is indeed the responsibility of her son at any time." urged Hanum, she wanted Arini sure if the offer was so sincere.

"Mom will be here until I'm gone. In this city, in that old house, we, your mother and father fought together." replied Arini.

"Thank you for the offer. Arkha never forgot her duty to me." All the needs of the family are borne by Arkha. His son is very responsible with his family. Sometimes he felt sorry for Arkha for enduring it all. But, her son's burden had now lessened when her sister Kania had already started working.
