Chapter 8: Want to Be Honest

Now Tara is waiting for Riana in the front yard accompanied by dim garden lights. Tara looks restless because it is past 12 pm, Riana has not yet returned home.

Just getting married, Riana had already worried him.

A few minutes later, Riana's car rang out and entered the courtyard. Tara approaches Riana and turns out to be the other person driving, Sela.

Sela went down quickly to open Riana's car door and Tara helped.

"Sorry, Riana drank too much" said Sela who appeared awkward with Tara.

"Riana's drunk?" ask Tara.

Sela nodded, "Well, our meeting is a birthday, so we went to the bar and Riana had a lot to drink today..." tell Sela who is now starting to help Riana to get out of the car but Riana has fallen asleep.

"Let me just be fat" said Tara while Sela let Tara hold Riana.

"Engh...." Riana let out a small groan and went back to sleep in Tara's sling.

"Rabelle, Riana. I go home first." said Sela pamit.

"Mmmm, what's the package? Or did I just drop off after putting Riana to bed?" tawar Tara's.

"No, no. No, I can take a taxi. You just bring Riana inside." reject Sela.

Tara nodded once, "Jaudah, then, be careful. And thank you for bringing Riana home" Tara told smiling Sela.

"Either. Yeeeeee, bye!"

Tara enters the house and heads to Riana's room to put her to sleep.

"Enggh.h..." Riana continued to moan.

When she reached Riana's room, Tara put her to bed. He also took off Riana heels that were still attached to his feet. After that, Tara pulled a thick blanket to warm her wife who clearly looked tired in her sleep.

Tara was silent for a few minutes to admire Riana's face and began to dare to stroke her, she unhesitatingly kissed Riana's forehead which was completely unperturbed.

"Engh..." Riana moaned again after Tara's kiss came off.

"Mmmmhhhpp...." Riana looked nauseous and woke up. "Hoekkk...!!!" instantly Riana spewed out all the contents in her stomach onto the floor. Tara immediately avoided.

Tara was startled, while Riana put her body back to sleep comfortably. But Riana looks dirty especially her lips are also still there are remnants of vomit.

Tara finally intervened and painstakingly cleaned the floor as well as Riana's face.

Tonight was really quite tiring for Tara and Riana who had just become a married couple.

The next morning, Riana woke up from her pretty heavy sleep. His head was still dizzy, considering last night he drank so much.

But when he opened the blanket, it felt awkward and strange. Riana was confused about something different from him. A shirt? His clothes were different from what he was wearing yesterday.

Riana's surprised. Eyes widened. How can the clothes change on their own? He was stoned and unconscious.

"What's the fuck, Tara?" his inner.

He quickly ran out to find Tara. But the person being sought did not seem to indicate his whereabouts. Instead he found a breakfast menu available at the table with a yellow letter left behind.

Riana picked it up and read it.

"Don't forget to eat breakfast. And drinking warm tea also let your dizziness go away." and the bottom right corner of the letter ends with the word "From Riana's husband.... Tara." with the smile emoji that made Riana cluck.

He was a little amused at the end of the sentence.

Rania saw the tea still steaming with smoke, she took it and drank it. He quickly finished it without touching another breakfast Tara had made.

Still reminded of his different clothing issues, he brushed it off and began to prepare for work.

Elsewhere, Hanan was visiting her parents. He intends to tell the company's problems with his father so that Mr. Saka helps Riana to find solutions from some of his father's friends.

"Right!" His mother welcomed him very well.

Hanan greeted Ms. Cantika and her father who had just come out of his room in a wheelchair.

They sat down and Ms. Cantika sat next to her son whom she missed so much.

"Son, how are you and Leyna?" ask mother.

"Good, baby. Dad is healthier than ever, he has diligently checked up." replied his mother.

Hanan was relieved to hear it and began to pause for a moment and cradle back whether he should tell the problem with the father or not?

"What's going on, Hanan?" Now Mr. Saka asked.

Hanan who looked down fixed his eyes. "Dad" he said, sounding bad. "Hanan wants to say, ka. if..." Hanan looked nervous. He should not have told this to his father in accordance with his brother's wishes.

"Why, son?" Ms. Cantika was waiting for her son who seemed hesitant to say it.

"That, Mother. Leyna wanted to ask for the herbal tonic that I loved when Hanan often got sick first, is there, Mom?" hanan said finally that reasoned.

"Leyna hurt what, baby?" ask Ms. Cantika who seems worried.

"It's just common pain, ma'am. Don't worry too much, Leyna will be good after taking the medicine from Mom" Hanan said again.

"If so, Mama take it first, yes." Ms. Cantika went inside to get Hanan their ancestral medicine.

Hanan looks tense when facing his father who was not too close to him from the first except Riana who is close to the father despite a hard upbringing.

"How's your brother doing?" ask Mr. Saka.

"Hanan hasn't contacted Ms. Riana, Dad" Hanan replied.

"Visit him, because your mother is still angry with him because of company problems. You know that already?" obviously Mr. Saka.

"Tau, Dad."

"Are you angry with Riana too?" ask Mr. Saka again.

Hanan was silent, his gaze lowered.

"Dad knows what's going on, son." tell her dad made Hanan look at her dad right away, he looked surprised instead of playing.

"Dad expected this to happen and Riana would definitely do something like this."

"Mom knows, Dad?" Hanan asked worriedly.

Mr. Saka shook his head. "Not yet, he doesn't know. That's why he refrained from seeing Riana when he missed her so much." replied Mr. Saka making Hanan feel even more guilty.

Because of her, her brother had to marry someone he did not love, take responsibility for the company problems even their mother was angry with him. Her sister bore so much burden because of her but she tried to be honest with both her parents instead could not.

"Right! This is the cure" said Bu Cantika who just came and gave Hanan herbal medicine. "Hurry and give Leyna this drink, and hopefully she'll get well soon." Riana.

"Thank you, Mom."

"Yes, now that you go home there, kill Leyna herself at home" said the worried Bu Cantika.

"Yes, Mom. Then Hanan goes, yeah." Pamit Hanan who started to stand up and greet her parents.

"Be careful, dear."

Hanan nodded, and started to pass away. As if remembering, he turned around. "Mom." He called his mother.

"Yes, honey?"

"Mbak Riana wants to be made an opor with Mom, do you want to make it?" hanan's words made the mother speechless.

"If you don't want to, don't papa. Later Hanan said that Mom can't and Hanan can buy Ms Riana opor out there." Hanan's alibi with a little drama.

Since there was no answer, Hanan decided to leave.

"Mom would, son!" said Bu Cantika finally quickly. Hanan turned.

"Mom want to make Riana's mom a chicken opor?" ask Hanan again enthusiastically.

Ms. Cantika nodded despite looking uninspired.

"Tomorrow Hanan will pick me up, then." Hanan said happily hearing it.

He knew his mother would not refuse to make his beloved daughter his favorite meal. He also did not want his mother to continue to be angry with his brother because of him. This is very unfair to Riana.
