Mistakes on Reunion Night

Michie immediately pushed Rein's body away from him. "It's not what you think it is" Michie defended herself.

"Rein?" Mom Yuri looked at her son questioningly. While Rein who was in Mommy's face just put his shoulders back and forth casually.

"As Michie said, it's not like what Mommy saw. I'm just gonna grab a pen near Michie's macbook." Rein showed me the pen in his hand.

"Then why do you work at the same table?"

"Isn't there another table?"

"Are you comfortable working like that?"

The endless questions that Mommy Yuri was asking this time sounded like terror in Rein's ears.

"Rein didn't have much time to go back and forth to the table if Michie had anything she wanted to ask."

"Oh yeah?" ask Mommy Yuri who is starting to feel there is a strange gurgle on her son.

'Just this time I saw my son sharing a table with a woman. Is this a sign that I will get a daughter-in-law and mess with my own best friend?' mumbling Mom Yuri in heart.

"Mom, I'm doing a lot of work today. If Mommy needs to be with me, I'll see Mommy after my job is done" said Rein, who deliberately drove her away subtly.

"Mommy doesn't have to be with you, Rein. Mommy just wants to see Lili. Then good job." Mom Yuri directly left Rein's room while waving her hand.

After Mom Yuri left, Michie also refocused on her macbook. After an hour passed, now Michie began to learn to check some files accompanied by Rein.

Rein painstakingly taught Michie to do a detailed check. "Okay, I understand this time. So now I'm gonna check it out on that table over there!" Michie pointed at the other desk.

"Can't!"

"You need to stay here under my watch!" reject Rein firmly.

"Hey! Can't you keep an eye on me if I'm sitting there?!"

"I'm not a fool to ask every time either."

Despite Rein's ban, Michie still heads to the other desk. But Rein swiftly held Michie's hand and held her back to stay.

"If it is not free to share a table with me, it is better that I move to the table that is there. And you stay here!"

Rein takes her macbook to the table that Michie was going to go to. Michie sat back down and started checking the files one by one.

Two weeks passed, and,

Michie is really learning fast to lead the company. However, his attitude towards Rein still did not change.

Both look compact when talking about work, but outside of that, Michie and Rein continue to fight even though only because of trivial problems.

Today Michie's work was finished early and she decided to go home first.

"I'm home!" michie said flatly without looking at Rein who was still struggling with work. And as usual, Rein simply replied with deheman.

Michie's cold attitude during these two weeks made Rein begin to understand Michie's character. Even their quarrels every time was an already inevitable routine.

As usual, after getting out of her room, Michie always visited Mom Lili's study room first and only returned home together.

"Tomorrow mornings you don't have a show, do you, baby?" mom Lili asked and Michie shook her head.

"Nothing, Mommy! Michie's tired, so just take a break in the room."

"Oh yes, dear. Can mommy ask you something?"

Her Mommy question was immediately nodded to her head by Michie.

"Aren't you still a guy you want to recognize with Mommy? You're almost 25 years old, baby."

Now Michie was speechless, thinking about her Mommy question. One of her friends has a son, the other next month is getting married.

While Michie until now there are no male friends that she knows closely. Because so far no one has managed to take Michie's heart.

"Michie doesn't really have a man that Michie can identify with Mommy yet" Michie replies when the two are already in the car.

"If you're going to be a mate, would you care?"

Again Michie was silent for a long time not answering her Mommy question.

Seeing her daughter still silent, Mom Lili also grasped Michie's hand and rubbed her slowly.

"Mommy will not force you to accept this match, if you still do not want to get married. But at least you guys get to know first, how?" asked Mom Lili then who was finally taken head by Michie.

"A introduction, right?" ask Michie.

"Yes, my dear, acquaintance. If it fits later, even if it does not fit it does not need to continue."

"Mom has failed in marriage, Mom just does not want you traumatized to be in a relationship because of seeing Mommy who has long been a single parent."

"At least Mom calmed down when she saw you there was someone accompanying her, because the longer Mommy got older. Even Mommy doesn't know until when Mom can continue to be on the side, you're Michie."

Her Mommy's remarks this time made Michie's eyes glaze over. "Ssttt! Don't say that, Mom." Michie's hand grabbed Mom Lili's body and hugged her.

"Mommy will continue to be next to Michie!" michie said, without realizing it, her tears began to break.

"Marry dear, Mommy really wants to see you happy!" pinta Mom Lili's.

"What if I'm not happy when I get married?" asked Michie who was still reluctant to think about marriage.

"I'm enjoying my life now, Mom."

Mom Lili's hand is now outstretched rubbing her daughter's head. "Did Mommy and Daddy's breakup leave your heart so hurt dear, that Michie was reluctant to be in a relationship?"

"Is your trauma so deep, Michie?"

"Do we need to see a psychologist to consult about the trauma that until now has been enveloping your feelings?"

'Huft, it's always been my attitude like this that is associated with psychologists!' grumbled Michie in heart.

'Ck, do you think I'm crazy? Hemm, rather than me being taken to a psychologist, I would rather accept Mommy's offer to get acquainted with a man.'

"Mommy doesn't have to take me to a psychologist. If Mommy really wants to introduce a man who deserves me, just do it!"

"If it fits then it will go on, otherwise, Michie can only apologize to Mommy. Obviously I don't want to be in touch with a psychologist."
