Nathan's Story (Finished)

Bruno and Natan are in hospital.

Bruno drove Natan to the hospital because Bruno would bear all the costs of Natan's care until he was completely healed and could move again.

After some special treatment on Natan, now Natan has been lying on the bed of the patient.

"Uh." Natan only muttered while nodding.

"I'll remember your advice." Answer Nathan.

Until Bruno finally again questioned the real problem of Natan.

"I think your problem right now is heavier than what you talked about before... Can you tell me?" Ask Bruno.

Currently Bruno is deliberately not to directly offer assistance to Natan.

Bruno was about to say that he would help if he could, but he changed his mind because he could see that Natan was a person who would likely feel bad if he kept bothering others.

From their previous light talk Bruno had managed to deduce a bit of Natan's attitude in response to a situation and circumstances. Therefore now Bruno does not want to just let out words so that he can lead Natan in the direction he wants.

After Bruno gave the question, Natan now seemed a little hesitant to speak.

"My mother is in the hospital and her illness is severe enough... At the moment he has to be operated on immediately, but I do not have enough money to pay the hospital bills... As a result I chose to become a monster hunter to raise money as soon as possible." Nathan started to tell stories.

Meanwhile, Bruno could now only listen carefully as Natan spoke.

After Natan finished telling the story, now Bruno was trying to provide a solution to Natan.

That solution was a solution that Nathan would probably accept without thinking too much.

"so yeah... So the point is you're gonna need some money to pay for your mother's treatment?" Tanya Bruno made sure.

"Uh." Natan muttered in response.

"Alright, then, let me pay for your mother's treatment." Bruno said casually.

"It can't be like that!" Reply Natan firmly and immediately turned to Bruno.

"You've helped me today... I don't want to trouble the person I just met!"

"Well, I thought you'd say that." Bruno said with a long sigh.

He continued, "Calm down, I'm not offering this help for free!"

"What do you mean?" Ask Nathan.

"I want you to help me on some monster hunting missions, so we can break even on something like this... How's it?" Bruno gave me advice.

Natan began to fall silent and he seemed to think a little.

It did not take long, now Natan immediately turned to look at Bruno.

"Okay, I'll accept your offer... I'll make up for all your help to my mother once I'm healthy!" Said Natan with a determination that was already unanimous.

After the decision, the next day Natan's mother immediately underwent surgery from the doctor and the operation went smoothly.

As a result, Natan's mother has now been saved from the disease she suffered so far, he said, and since then also Natan considered Bruno as his savior and he felt that he was very indebted to Bruno.

That's what makes Natan feel very depressed when he can't save Bruno.

Again, Nathan now fell in remorse and sorrow, and he felt that he could not be of any use to the man who had greatly contributed to him.

"I really can't repay Bruno's kindness to me!" Think Nathan.

He also had time to say that if he was not in the group, he wanted Natan to follow the group, but on the condition that the one who should lead the group was Zero, because only Zero who according to Bruno is a figure who has a big goal to free humans from the threat of monsters that come from the dimensional portal.

"Well... Looks like I should be able to control a bit of my selfishness first in order to accept Zero as the leader!" Natan said in his heart because currently Natan is still not able to calm down with the death of Bruno at this time.
