Episode 2: INTERNAL ISSUES; Chapter 2: Possible

I don't know why I wanted so badly to smash the middle-aged man's face, you can see that I have nothing to do with this right? then what did he do? shoot me with a gun? Just be right!

If I didn't have good sensors, I would have been killed by a single shot that almost hit my head!

"I had nothing to do with this, why did you shoot me huh? find your dead you old bastard!" I shouted in annoyance.

Hearing my obscure rant, everyone in the place wore different facial expressions, but most of them clearly showed confused facial expressions.

From that look alone I could hear a single sentence even though it was not spoken by them. "Is he crazy?" They must have asked me that question, and it made me even more upset!

"Look, put all your property on the new floor I'll let you go." Said the middle-aged man casually.

"Really? –you think I'd ask stupidly like that huh?" I reply with annoyance.

"Then you understand why I can't let you get out of here, now put your hands up and get down." The middle-aged man said with a commanding tone.

I don't like it, why do I have to obey this old bastard's orders?

Looking around, I found that almost all of the bank staff got down without daring to look up, everyone lowered their heads down until they kissed the floor with their faces.

The right corner of my lips went up, is this luck? then I have absolutely no need to hesitate to beat up these robbers because...

There are no eyewitnesses here!

A short while later a small white sword formed in my right hand through the rapid manifestation of the strange energy within my body.

The iris of my right eye also became sharp and changed color to luminous purple.

"Where did it come from?" Everyone had the same question in their heads, was it magic?

When everyone noticed the sword, I had already disappeared from my previous position and in an instant was already behind the middle-aged man who had been blabbering.

"You pissed me off, so just die with regret!" I said coldly in her ear.

After that a small white sword pierced through the middle-aged man's body viciously, blood falling everywhere after I plucked the blade from his body.

"impossible–" the middle-aged man recalled one last word before lying lifeless on the floor.

Silence ensued, no one thought that all their predictions were turned upside down, their leader who should have had the advantage in weapons instead died in just one sword thrust that came out of nowhere, even if this dream was already excessive, there should be no ordinary humans who could do such extraordinary things other than gods.

I was silent over the corpse of someone I had just killed, there was no remorse in my heart but somehow I did it without thinking a second time before acting, it felt like something was controlling me to kill.

My gaze turned to every robber who looked at me in horror, lucky that none of the staff there raised their heads.

"Eye witness cannot live–"

In an instant I was behind one of the robbers and slashed his back very strongly, then moved on to the other target and slashed it again and continuously until all the robbers there died as a whole.

One last target died, I stopped moving while regulating the hunting breathing. I swung the blade firmly to the right to clear the blood attached to it, then pulled it back inside my body and fused it with the strange energy inside.

That was a little fun, whether since when I started to have an interest in seeing someone's suffering at the end of their life, am I now a psychopath? I don't know, what I didn't realize was that I had slowly turned into a very terrible figure.

Immediately I dashed out of the Bank at full speed, entered the nearby alley then threw away the jacket I used before, which I used, it was already covered in blood and I couldn't possibly wear it to walk in the city at all.

Looking towards a large screen above the highway, I witnessed a city that could not even be considered a city anymore, because there were no buildings left.

There was only a fire as far as the eye could see, then a Type 17 monster carcass that was as fresh as it had just been killed.

"Viewers, please see this! A giant carcass that had destroyed the city in one night was truly a terrible disaster. Almost 2/4 of the population in the city were victims of this incident."

"Thank you to PAX and LICO for risking their lives to protect our beloved country."

I heard all the things that the reporter said carefully, although it was a bit wrong but it was true that PAX had risked their lives bravely for peace!

There's nothing wrong with trying....

Returning to the simple inn, I laid down my body in the bathtub while thinking about a few things

"The neatly split body of the monster, it is highly unlikely that firearms or cannons did it, it must have been done by a physical slash!" I murmured while thinking.

It's strange, however, that only I have this kind of strange power, that there might even be a lot of people out there who have it, and they know what it is, how to use it well, and why they have it. They must have known.

The first uses it well, the second uses it poorly.

There might even be criminals with strange powers roaming the city, but no ordinary human knows it except those who have superpowers and unite to hunt the criminals from behind the shadows.

Just thinking about it gives me a headache, should I choose to join one of them, or will I remain neutral like this and do nothing?
