Kafin who heard Alice's whereabouts from someone, then continued to run and run towards the ER room. With an unbecoming feeling Kafin continued to accelerate his footsteps towards that direction.

After passing through several aisles, Kafin's footsteps stopped when he saw Alice looking so painful while resting on the aisle wall. Seeing that of course made Kafin's heart pulsate instantly. He took wide footsteps towards the direction where Alice was at this moment.

Without wasting any more time Kafin immediately hugged Alice's body tightly, making Alice who was trying to catch her breath then a little surprised by the close embrace of Kafin just now. The look on Alice's face that was so pale with cold sweat that soaked the area of her forehead at that time, making the feeling of worry and fear increasingly filled her heart at that time.

"Breathe slowly Al.. Slowly.. Breathe in slowly, calm yourself... Do it slowly Al.." said Kafin right after taking off his embrace on Alice.

"I. hhhhhhhhhhhhh" said Alice with a gasp of breath while trying to grasp the Kafin shirt with trembling hands.

Kafin who saw Alice never improving also then immediately carried her bridal style and took her to the ER to get help.

"Dok.. The doctor... Please my wife... Doctor.." shouted Kafin with a high tone to make some people who were there, then immediately looked at Kafin with a questioning gaze.

Hearing the screams from Kafin then made some nurses immediately bring the patient's gurney towards the two. Making Kafin immediately put Alice's body up there slowly and push her towards the ER. Just when Kafin was about to enter the ER room, a nurse appeared to stop his footsteps at that time.

"You better wait outside for us to take care of your wife" said a nurse before closing the ER door and leaving Kafin outside with a full gaze of worry.

Kafin who saw the door closed in front of his eyes, of course immediately rubbed his face violently. Kafin was really afraid of something bad happening to Alice at this moment. Kafin even continued to curse her stupidity that left Alice alone earlier in the waiting room.

"I beg to endure Al... I beg you.." Kafin said to himself as he continued to stare at the door that was currently still tightly closed.

While a feeling of worry enveloped her while waiting for Alice there, a ringing of her cell phone rang and shocked Kafin at the time. Kafin let out a long sigh as soon as he saw Altair's name written clearly on his phone screen. While taking a deep breath Kafin then began to shift the green icon on the screen of his phone.

"Hello.." said Kafin then right after putting the phone in his ear.

"Are Mom and Dad out? Why is it that when we go home from school you're not home?" altair asked directly at the point of making a breath then heard clearly from his mouth.

"We're coming home soon, son, Mother and Father are currently out for a while. Altair keep Belinda as long as Mother and Father have not come home yes." said Kafin with a hoarse-sounding tone.

"Of course Dad, but I promise I'll bring Mommy home, right?" said Altair which then makes Kafin feel more claustrophobic when hearing it.

"Alright then be careful on the road and take care of Mommy" Altair said later.

"Of course, son" said Kafin again before the phone call was cut off.

Kafin rubbed his face violently and then looked back at the ER door with an intense gaze as if waiting for the door to open. Until then, not long after a doctor appeared out of the room and came to Kafin.

"I'm sorry if the patient has experienced a major event and had a severe trauma? I think the cause is in the trauma that lies in him. In some cases trauma that occurs in a person can cause adverse effects including death. I have given him a sedative injection but this will not reduce the trauma in him, I suggest that you help the patient in dealing with the trauma that he has gradually and slowly in order to heal completely" said the doctor explained Alice's condition to Kafin, making Kafin immediately silent for a moment in his place to digest every word spoken by the Doctor.

"Am I able to sign Doc?" ask Kafin then.

"Of course, but because the patient is resting I hope you can calm down and let him rest" said the doctor before finally passing away from the presence of Kafin.

The ER

From the entrance, Kafin slowly stepped into the door closer to where Alice's bed was. Seeing Alice lying there made Kafin's heart throb and continued to blame himself. Kafin stopped right next to the patient's bed and stared at the look of Alice's face that looked pale at that time. Kafin's body simply slid onto the floor holding tightly onto Alice's hand and then kissed the hand.

His current feeling was completely unsettled, as an overwhelming sense filled his heart, the memory of a sudden accident swirled in Kafin's head back then. In his memory Kafin vividly remembers if he accidentally slammed the steering wheel to the left and caused the car he was riding in to crash into a large banyan tree on the side of the road. An ill-fated event that did not want Kafin to remember back even though it only crossed a fraction of a second in his mind.

Kafin who had closed his eyes and then began to open it and look towards Alice who still closed his eyes until now.

"I'm really sorry, I promise I'll keep you better.. But please don't do this because I really don't like it. Just get angry at me as you like but I beg you not to be like this." Kafin said while kissing the back of Alice's hand repeatedly because Kafin was really afraid of losing Alice at this time.

"Don't leave me Al again.. I'm begging.. Me and the kids have been fighting all this time.. I beg you not to leave me." said Kafin again until he unconsciously shed tears at the corner of his eyelids.
