CHAPTER 36

Now Reyhan has been inside the meeting room in the palace of Xie Kingdom. He was not alone in the room, sitting in front of King Xie. At first, before the meeting, King Xie was astonished at Reyhan's arrival in his Kingdom, and he allowed Reyhan to enter his palace. King Xie asked his guards to leave, at Reyhan's request to speak with four eyes.

"I didn't expect you to come here Crown Prince" said King Xie.

Reyhan did not reply, he just smiled. King Xie smiled stiffly at Reyhan's mysterious smile, then he cleared his throat.

"Ehem.., so what is it that you need to come here Crown Prince Wan ?" asked King Xie to start the conversation.

"I just want to solve this problem well" Reyhan replied coldly.

"What's Crown Prince Wan's problem ?" ask King Xie.

"Matchmaking matters." Reyhan replied.

King Xie smiled. "So you already know that ?"

Reyhan nodded his head. "King Wan has told me."

"So you accepted the match ?" asked King Xie, in his heart expectantly Reyhan accepted the matter of his betrothal.

Reyhan smiled, King Xie saw Reyhan's smile he could already guess that Reyhan accepted his match with his daughter. King Xie's mood is happy, he dreams of making Reyhan his daughter's husband.

"Why did you refuse ?" asked King Xie, in his heart was really disappointed to get a rejection from Reyhan.

"Do I have to answer why I refused this match ?" ask Reyhan.

King Xie nodded his head. "I want to know your reasons. Is my daughter less beautiful ?"

"I can't give a lot of excuses, obviously, I don't believe in marriage" Reyhan replied coldly.

King Xie fell silent after hearing Reyhan's reason for refusing his match. He looked at Reyhan with a disappointed heart. He did not expect to get a rejection from someone. Plus that person was the Crown Prince of another Kingdom.

"Your Majesty King Xie, don't take my refusal as an insult. This is why I came here directly to talk to you. I came straight to you, and asked you kindly to cancel this matchmaking matter" Reyhan explained

"Aren't you trying to get to know my daughter first" replied King Xie.

"Your Majesty King Xie, I don't know what you mean to match me to your daughter. Either because you were with my father in the past, or maybe you and my father wanted to use me because of my power," said Reyhan, the silent King he stared at Reyhan flatly.

"or maybe, I've been kind to you, so you feel like I'm a good person who deserves a husband for your daughter" she continued.

King Xie was shocked to hear Reyhan's last words. He briefly recalled the moment he was saved by Reyhan 3 years ago.

King Xie was silent. Reyhan knows King Xie's heart is sad. But how else, he still hard rejected his match. Then standing up from his seat, he walked away leaving King Xie still silent. But, just a few steps, he stopped.

"This is not at the behest of my father, the Wan King. Unless this is my wish. Do not consider this rejection an insult. If you consider it unacceptable, and decide the war, then I will go forward alone to destroy your Kingdom" Reyhan said coldly, and ja passed away leaving King Xie in the meeting room.

King Xie was still silent on his seat. His mind went nowhere after hearing Reyhan's words that were quite piercing into his heart. But no matter where he wants Reyhan to be a husband for his daughter.

But fortunately, the matter of the matchmaking she wanted, was only known by her own. No one, or the Empress and her concubine, knew. Not even his ministers know. King Xie had only just informed King Wan of his intentions.

But before, without him and Reyhan noticing, there was a woman who secretly heard their chatter behind the wall of the meeting room. The woman heard all their talk. Before Reyhan went out, the woman immediately ran away from the room to avoid being caught.

King Xie sighed, then he stood up and left the room. He returned to his office. As for Reyhan, he had come out of the palace and he flew back into the sky. He plans to explore his new world. On the other hand, in one of the hunting forests near the border region of Wan Kingdom, a girl wearing a black robe was seen, and was enjoying her food. He was not alone, he was accompanied by a large lion. The girl was the master of the lion. Although the girl was his master, but he already assumed the lion was his friend.

"I want to tell you, there is something I want to tell you Princess Xiu Juan" replied her jade slip that sounded like a female voice.

"Come on, we're friends, you just call me Xiu." asked the girl who turns out to be Xiu Juan. (Xiu Juan Ever appeared in CHAPTERS 09 - 12)

"All right, Xiu."

"What do you want to tell me ?" ask Xiu Juan.

"First, 3 days ago a member of your Royal family came to Wan Kingdom for three days to celebrate Crown Princess Wan's birthday."

"Keep ?"

"And the second. Today, as I passed by the meeting room, I accidentally heard King Xie's chat that will match you with Crown Prince Wan."

Xiu Juan was shocked to hear that. "You're not kidding !"

"I'm not kidding Xiu. But take it easy, your arranged marriage was strictly rejected by Crown Prince Wan."

Xiu Juan breathed his breath. "Thank God, what else do you want to say ?"
