"You're coming home in the middle of the night again?" greet Ray, when Sam enters his house.
"You stalking me?"
"I'm just asking. Why, where are you from?"
"Ray, I have my own business. I also need privacy, Ray." said Sam. His eyes, describing something. Ask Ray not to interfere too much in his affairs.
Ray just smiled. He grabbed Sam by the shoulder, and invited him to sit casually on the sofa..
"You're not sleeping? It's already midnight. Or, is there something?"
"Just want to ask, how's Fany? I'm looking for a picture of her in our memories, but nothing."
"Memories?"
"Yes, I found some albums in the closet. But there's no pictures of him."
"Aaah, you threw it away" said Sam, looking a little nervous.
"For what?" Ray narrowed his eyes.
"I-I don't understand that. Only you're... You know," his nervousness increased, even his face was a little pale. He doesn't look like Sam at this point.
Ray wasn't really asking anymore. He shakes his head, asking Sam to go back to his room. Sam complied, and immediately ran up without looking back.
"I threw it away? No, Sam. You stole it." Ray's smile, at the end of his lips.
Ray's back in the room soon. He caught Aida who was already so sound in her bed. She stroked her hair gently, and occasionally dyed it lovingly until Aida opened her eyes.
" What's up? "
" No, go to sleep." hug her tightly.
Sam broke his body. Open the wallet with a photo of Fany there. He hugged the photo, then curled up to his pillow. It felt like a hand was holding her from behind. Feels cold, makes Sam's hair goosebumps.
"Fany," she says.
"I miss Sam's brother. Don't you, Sam likes it when Fany hugs?"
"real? Fany is always real in Sam's mind. Why is Brother shaking, brother scared?" her words are soft.
Sam said nothing. He simply remained silent with a sore heart, without being able to turn his back and return the embrace. The shadow felt real, occasionally drowning his face at the nape of Sam's neck. Sam realized that it was just his hallucination. But, he did not want to miss that wonderful moment for him.
You know how miserable Sam is right now?
Even Sam returned to shed his tears, without being able to make a sound at all.
"Fany... Hicks!" sam cried, in his sleep. Aware of just a dream, he doesn't want to wake up anymore.
"Sister Sam! Brother sam!" Mei knocked on the door of the room.
Sam opened his eyes. It feels so sticky and heavy. In fact, he felt his eyes slightly puffy.
"Who? What's wrong." she replied from the room.
"Mas Tono, uh Mas Ray call. He said to go out, have breakfast together." said Mei.
"Yes, come out soon." he replied flatly.
"Okey, May first," May replied. He ran down, approached the others at the dinner table.
"Can you slow down? You are an adult, don't be a child anymore" said Mami Bian, with a sharp look.
"Run from top to bottom, what is a child? Must be, like a pretentious aunt and classy. But, yourself feeling constrained?" fight Mei.
"You!" Mami Bian stood up, with two fingers touching in May. Not afraid, Mei just ruffled her waist as if challenging him.
"May, it's already." said Aida.
The commotion stopped when Sam got off. But it was as if he was looking for something. Like something was missing and so important to him.
"What are you looking for?" ask Ray.
"No-no, I'm not looking for anything. Come on, breakfast." take Sam, with his face still looking lame.
