Tirta POVs
I still glanced towards the girl who still continued to stare at me with an annoyed look. He certainly never expected before if when he opened the door to his room and would run away again like yesterday, he would have seen me before he could do that.
Last night, I had a little argument with him. Because I insisted on dropping her off and also asking her for extra tutoring at home. He didn't even finish his meal last night.
And after she walked into her room last night, I went straight to auntie. I'm sure aunt knows what time she leaves in the morning. For when I got up and looked for her, said her aunt, she had left early in the morning.
I took the initiative to ask what time he came out of his room. But auntie did not know for sure, because at that time she was on the back porch drying clothes that she had washed before. But auntie said, if Rasti left the house at six o'clock less.
I immediately decided to get up early, and also prepare early. Exactly half six in the morning I was already at the door of Rasti's room. And the result was as it was now, he looked at me with a look of annoyance.
"Get aside, I want breakfast!" ketus her again.
I tilted my body, giving him access to get past me. He walked quickly, but I caught up with him.
He walked towards the dining table, and I was the same. As he sat down, I did the same with him. This morning aunt prepared breakfast, because last night I asked her to make breakfast so that Rasti not only drank chocolate milk when out of the house.
"Gue wants to go to school by himself!" exclaim Rasti while chewing fried rice made by aunty.
I glanced at her sharply, and what I did was like her making her guts shrivel.
"No, look at the ordinary!" her protests to me, like her she felt clumsy because of my sharp gaze at her.
But somehow I like it so much when he's sniffy like this, sniffy but still want to talk to me. Actually I did already consider her like my own real sister, I know this Rasti is actually a good girl. It's just that his hatred for misunderstanding my mother made him misunderstand me and also hate me.
My mother never did what she thought. Mother never snatched Rudi's father from her biological mother Rasti. But if she knew the truth then the person she hated the most was her biological mother.
That's why my mother never let me or Rudi's father tell Rasti the truth. Mom just doesn't want Rasti to hate her birth mother, she always says that Rasti's heaven stays with her mother, even though it's her paradise that's what's left her.
"Emang very difficult yes, just being a submissive child is very difficult huh?" ask me to try and talk to Rasti.
And he turned his face away instead, I had to let out a long sigh because his attitude, which had always been like this, made people grow furious.
"Bokap says if you don't obey me, he'll cut your pocket money 40 percent!" I bluffed him. Though it wasn't there at all in the conversation I and Rudi's father had last night.
Last night Rudi's father called and asked about our condition. I said everything, he's the one who left at dawn to avoid me taking him to school. Then he came home late for extra lessons. Rudi's father said that if I have to be able to convince Rasti to be willing to be picked up, for her safety and also for the sake of getting closer to our relationship.
Rudi's father also asked that I help Rasti to tutoring at home, which means bringing the tutor home. Rudi's dad says whatever the cost is he doesn't matter. Rasti's origins developed in his academics.
"Where can that be!!" his protest while pursing his lips.
"Lu must not know who is not the same father?" accuse him of me.
I am no longer surprised by his sharp words and all his accusations against me. I only responded with a cynical smile at him.
"No need to complain, I also know how you behave! so stay tuned for why. I'll pick up school, I'll take the afternoon lecture, abis pick you up from school. And today I'm also going to meet your tutor, ask him..."
"Today he didn't come in!" rasti sela.
"Tomorrow there's no him either.."
"Lu Bo'ong is like me, or you don't have extra tutoring!" I was surprised to make Rasti choke.
"Uhuukk!" he then grabbed the glass on his right side.
I was still staring at him sharply, I became suspicious if he actually did not take additional tutoring and just messing around out there after school.
"Don't just say yes, I'm not bo'ong. I want to teach, my teacher wants to be busy. Dah ah, to the hell of you, ntar I told myself to my tutoring teacher that!" continued.
And I fell silent, tumben once he spoke at length even explained about his tutoring to me. I don't think he's lying. It might be true that his teacher did not enter today. All right I'll meet him tomorrow and talk about additional lessons for Rasti.
We had already finished breakfast, and despite the unpleasant looks on the spot as Rasti continued to frown. He still wears the helmet I gave him and sits in the back seat of my bike.
"Could not be, buy a helmet that the picture is good to see. That Mickey mouse picture, or that normal volkadot, this is my picture helmet. You freak!" his protest was again, but even so he kept it on his head.
"Hand!" I cried after turning on my motor.
"Oh, ogah I..agkkhh!" his squealing because I immediately pulled the strong gas made him inevitably hug my waist.
After coming out of the gate of the house, he hit me on the back.
Plakkk
"Was it intentional?" ask her annoyed.
I just kept quiet and drove her to her school, all the way to school she just kept quiet and I also didn't want to talk, so there was no disagreement between us when on the way.
Arriving in front of the school gate, I stopped. Rasti went down and removed the helmet from his head.
"Now, my helmet is yours!" he pushed the helmet towards me.
"What time is it to go home?" ask me.
He who had walked a few steps turned back.
"Half two!" answer him and walk away immediately.
I'm quite happy, at least he didn't turn me down to pick him up. I can tell this to Mom, and I'm sure she would love to hear it.
