Mukhalis: Hero of Bentala

Mukhalis: Hero of Bentala
4. Homehouse

The dokar walked slowly through the shady forest. The road through which there are a lot of gravel, leaf stalks, and uneven perforated land. The driver who drove the horse's movements looked fat, in a black suit and a typical box hat of a businessman. He was none other than Arnadi who was seen observing the area.

While in the passenger room there are Suluh and Sekar sitting opposite each other, equally awkward do not know should start a conversation. But Suluh knew this was not good for him, as if he did not know how to thank by ignoring Sekar. The boy, who was staring at the trees, turned to the girl who was focusing on looking outside.

"Se ... Now," cried Suluh immediately made Sekar turn to him. "Thank you for the help."

Those round eyes blinked. Suluh's statement surprised him a little not because of the speech of appreciation but the name that came out of his mouth. The first time Suluh called Sekar. The woman nodded her head, saying, "It is appropriate that people like them should not be allowed to do anything!"

The corner of his lip was rubbed, feeling very flattered. "And you, maybe, they'll never stop."

A moment of silence, trying to digest the sentence of Surya just now. "You mean, it's happened before?"

The poor boy could only smile with sadness. "Overtime."

There was no response from Sekar except a wide face. He then threw his face away, saying something softly, "I'm sorry."

"What's wrong, you're not wrong," said Suluh spread a glance out the window, paying attention to the outside conditions that are now replaced by rice fields. "Maybe they're doing that kind of thing because of my physique."

"At a time when everyone is living normally, I have to rely on this machine" Sulah gave a forced chuckle. "I was wondering why I should be different from others."

"Why was I born like this" the window reflected the face of Sulah who kept her face. "Life is only to receive insults and insults."

"But my family kept encouraging me, giving me invaluable strength," the boy looked up, the sky blue with clumps of clouds strewn about. "I realized then that I had to get up."

"I must become strong" Suluh cried in a voice of emphasis and conviction. "Although if the world won't accept me, at least I live for the people I care about."

The passenger room was suddenly silent, Suluh who read the situation quickly spoke up while looking at Sekar. "Ah .. sorry, I didn't mean to-"

The girl there looked silent, her body trembling. Her beautiful eyes had been filled with tears rushing down both of her cheeks. He hiccupped, letting out a cry held so hard by drowning his head, looking down deeply. The tiny finger gripped firmly on her elegant yellow clothes, not expecting Sekar to respond until such.

The journey has finally reached the village of Baturia, a small village surrounded by forest. Passers-by pay close attention, feeling unfamiliar with unfamiliar guests especially with luxury-style horse carriages. Their houses are mostly made of wood and rocks that look simple.

After weaving to follow the direction of Suluh, they were taken to a vast prairie. The greenness alone can make Sekar who is still not recovered, re-appointed. And in the middle there, there was a small housing which one of them was the house of Suluh. Arnadi set the steering wheel to turn, crossing a wooden bridge under which flowing clear water again fresh.

The atmosphere felt lonely, barely finding anyone caught by the eye. It seems like the people there are making a living as farmers, not yet the time to return. The horse neighs after he stops right in front of the red brick-based house, emblazoned by the woman sweeping across the yard gasping once she realizes there are guests. Not long after, the skinny man came out in the doorway, curious as well.

When the black-haired boy came out, they were increasingly imprisoned knowing that it was their child. "Mother, Dad!"

Suluh stepped quickly into her mother's arms, followed by a confused man approaching them. "Son? that who?"

"Did something happen?" said Suluh's worried mother while pointing towards the man in the suit and the girl dressed gracefully.

They gave off an aura of luxury, slightly making old man Suluh worry. Shortly afterwards, Arnadi opened his voice, "Excuse me, sir, Mom. Our intention was to deliver Suluh back safely after she was subjected to persecution in the city."

"The conditions are very severe, especially the two artificial hands," continued Arnadi released his hat. "With limited capabilities, I slightly fixed it and replaced its outermost layer."

"Thanks to Mr. Arnadi, I can move my hand again, Father," the eyes of Hazel Sulah looked at her father who had the same eyes.

"Then let us enter" said Bara, extending his hand, as if to let them step. "We're talking about everything inside."

They slowly but surely went inside, Suluh had exchanged glances with Sekar who still looked awkward after the event; following his father. Although the house looks ordinary, inside there is a wooden sofa with padded pads, red curtains, and a beautiful tablecloth.

"Please sit down" the man said kindly and turned to his wife. "Arumi, bring me a dish."

Mother Suluh hurriedly went inside, lost behind the curtain that made a sound as it moved. Bara also sat in one chair, next to the sofa occupied by Arnadi and Sekar. "Before, I thanked as much as possible for saving my son."

The short black-haired man drew Sulah in his embrace, "I've warned many times to avoid trouble, but he doesn't seem to have much of a choice, don't you think, son?"

Arnadi responded with a dignified smile, "Ten is indeed a wonderful child sir, I am amazed at the way it operates."

"Moreover, how do you assemble it," Arnadi leaned over, clenching both hands. "I'm curious how you implement Prana into a tool."

Soon, Arumi was present bringing fresh fruits, served on the table. "Please enjoy."

The skinny man in a batik shirt fell silent, then said quietly to the boy next to him, "Son, accompany your sister in the park."

Suluh neither refused nor rebelled, only a nod without a sense of reluctance. But before leaving, Arumi stopped Suluh and whispered, "Try him. It's not much impressive to be here long."

Sekar was suddenly imprisoned to hear the faint voice, he then turned to his father who also noticed him. Arnadi smiled as he exclaimed, "What's wrong, go."

"But before that, it would be nice for you to change your clothes first," the sentence that was thrown from his mother immediately made the Reed aware of his clothes that were still stained.

At that time, the two of them came out and headed to the garden that had been talked about. Following the small direction next to the house filled with wreckage. They did not talk much to each other, going down the stone steps that led them to a place with a wooden fence, covering an area filled with colorful flowers. Just stare back, not expecting to be this beautiful.

"Sabrina!"

The call directly made the ten-year-old who was watering the plant turn around the body. The radiant look on her face saw Suluh instantly fade away when she realized there was a stranger next to her brother. She hurriedly approached after turning off the faucet, hiding behind her brother with a glint still fixed on Sekar.

"This is Brother Sekar." Suluh slightly bowed as she whispered the identity of the girl beside her.

Sabrina's watchful eyes turned drastically into an interested flickering. He immediately jumped up, enthusiastically presenting the park to Sekar. "Well, Brother Sekar! Let's see the flower I just planted."

Sekar could not refuse the invitation of the young girl because her hands had been tightly grasped by her, stretching security before the eyes that made Sekar captivated. Familiarity between them turned out to be fast-woven, with no obstacles at all. The torch that was still in its place paid close attention to it, the expression of happiness that Sekar had mused.

At a glance at that second, his chest felt warm and pounding. I don't know what feeling is enveloping Suluh.
