04 Amnesia

Dr. Ririn came with Rika, then began to check Alica's condition which still looks confused.

"Thank God Alica's condition has gradually improved, after this do not move much first and routinely take the medicine to be cured." Said the Doctor with a relieved expression.

Rika was so happy to hear that she immediately hugged Alica. Dr. Ririn left the brothers.

"Hiks. big brother is so happy deck, you finally realized too." Rika hugged him back full of haru.

"Wait for my sister, what really happened to me so I was in this hospital?" alica asked, looking at the confused sister.

Rika was surprised to hear her sister's question, Rika then looked at the sister in disbelief if she could forget about the incident.

"Why do you ask so deck, you know for sure you are very traumatized but take it easy all the perpetrators have been arrested and will be immediately executed after you later give a statement." Answer Rica.

Alica looks confused and does not understand said the brother. His face was confused as if he had forgotten about what had happened to him.

"What's this brother talking about, what offender I really don't understand." Alica.

Rika was worried why her sister was like this, back she ran out of the room looking for Doctor Ririn, moments later they finally came again.

"Alica, try to relax first and try to remember again about the last incident you remember." Dr. Ririn gave instructions.

Alica does what she says then begins to recount the last incident she remembers.

"Sister led me to an interview at the Amora group company after which we celebrated because I was accepted to work." Alica said eloquently.

Doctor Ririn and Rika stared at each other in disbelief because the incident that Alica told her about had happened two years ago.

"Well, Alica, you rest me and your sister want to talk." The doctor then asked Rika to come with him.

In her room, Dr. Ririn begins to explain what really happened to Rika.

"Alica has amnesia half the time or in the medical world called anterograde, this condition makes the patient lose memory of something that has just happened but the patient can remember the events of several years before.". Obviously Doctor Ririn.

"What is a doctor, but why is he so and will it be dangerous?"

Some lay people in the medical world, obviously Rika worried after knowing it.

"This is not dangerous, it's just that Alica will have trouble adapting to the people she knows after the incident she told me about earlier. This condition does often occur to patients who have been in a coma for more than three days and usually this will not last long as we can make him remember half his memory again but in quotes should not be force it because it'll further damage brain tissue." Doctor Ririn replied again.

Dr. Ririn's explanation does not make Rika completely relieved, she is worried that if Alica does not remember half of her automatic memory Alica can not give a description and the perpetrators can be free from punishment.

After Ririn's doctor's room, Rika returned to Alica's room in doubt while continuing to remember the words of doctor Ririn.

"Sister, what's the matter why you look so worried about what the doctor says?" looking at Rika, the curious Alica asked.

"Sir, are you sure you don't remember?" instead of answering Rika just asked back.

"Remember what sis, what really happened." Alica was confused.

"It's okay, don't think about it, you get plenty of rest to get well quickly." Rika answered, diverting the conversation.

"Good afternoon doc, can we talk to you for a second?" Tom asked for time.

"Sore sir, of course." Doctor Ririn agreed.

"I've come to ask Alica for information, can I see her now?" ask Tom.

Doctor Ririn momentarily fell silent considering Alica's current condition.

"Where's Doc?" Tom asked back.

"I apologize in advance sir, but the patient can not provide information about the case, because the patient has half the amnesia where his memory forgets the events of a certain time including the events that happened to him that day." obviously Doctor Ririn.

Hearing him other than being surprised, Tom could no longer comment on anything other than resignation. He then gave permission to meet Rika.

After meeting Rika.....

"Then what will happen to the 15 perpetrators sir?" ask Rika.

"Hell will be free if Alica doesn't provide evidence, because the key evidence is on her." Tom replied without saying anything.

"No, I won't be willing is there no other way sir?" Rica pleaded.

"The only way to get to Alica's statement is, they might get punished but only in a prison cell and they could get paroled by their families." Answer Tom.

Rika just fell silent, not knowing what else. Should he release the perpetrators.

After Tom came home, Rika was sitting limp not expecting this to happen. But how else Alica completely forgot and could not possibly give her statement.

One week later, Alica was finally allowed to go home. For now Rika and Wendi work together to be able to restore Alica's memories in their ways.

On the other hand, the perpetrators were eventually released by their chairman who was a gangster who was also the one involved in the Alica case as well, only to be replaced by his men during the arrest.

Pablo, a leader of gangsters known to be cunning, evil and ruthless. There are already many victims like Alica who, on average, die before anyone finds them. The police can't even do anything about the gangsters because Pablo is clever and can fool them.

That night Pablo and his men celebrated their freedom. Pablo was satisfied after their victims failed to bear witness to the failure of his men to the law.

"Let's toast to this fortune." Pablo raised his glass of wine.

Although they escaped punishment, it did not make Pablo feel completely safe. Because Alica the victim is still alive and at times can give statements that will make her group threatened. So they devised a strategy to deplete the girl so they could be safe forever. But they all did not know what danger they would face in the future.

The night is getting late and Alica is still awake in her dim room while sitting while indeed a small knife that can be used to cut fruit. Alica seemed to be playing the knife with a sharp look.
