LIFE IS USEFUL EVEN IF IT IS NOT POPULAR

Live like a root, willing to give everything. Sometimes the tree never sees it.

Live like a root, which gives without but, and never asks back,

Live like a root, which plays a major role

although no one ever praised him

Live like a root, which is the cause of every good. Although no one ever gave an award.

Prophet Shalallahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

خير الناس أنفعهم للناس

"Perfectly, one of you is most beneficial to the other"

Duhai. Whoever you are, wherever you are. Be of benefit to others, who are willing to share, and sincerely give. His presence was joyous and his absence was missed.

if you cannot be the root whose tree bears much fruit

Be the root that sustains the tree that gives shade to the weary.

if it is not able to be the root of a flower that gives fragrance to the world

then be the grass roots that satiate animals— animals breeders.

إن لمْ تكُن وَرْدا فلاَ تكُن شوْكا

"If you can't be a flower, then don't be a thorn."

Gibran was very surprised, even immediately coughed, when he heard the words of the Grandmother, that the Gado-gado he ate came from Mbok Suminah stall. Seeing her Grandson choking on Syarah directly gave her water. Then he also patted gently on Gibran's back.

"Be careful dong Nak, the food is just a little bit more kok to choke anyway?" sharah said softly, while she was still stroking her grandson's back.

"Well, this is Grandma's fault! Why not say from earlier, if the hodgepodge has the Mbok-mbok it anyway!" reply Gibran, after he finished drinking water given by Sharah.

"Kok Mbok-mbok the hell Nak? What cow? Mbok Sumi it akh Nak," said Syarah, as he smiled funny, seeing the look of the face of the grandson who looks red. Either because of embarrassment, or because he choked.

But Syarah is sure, if the current Grandson feel embarrassed because earlier, he had praised the taste of the Gado-gado. Moreover, he had added-plus, even though he never ate up like that. It is even hard to tell him to eat. So Syarah was so happy, when he saw the grandson, eating very greedy.

"Akh bodo! Yuda is not feeling anymore!" gibran said, as he pushed his plate, which seemed to be a little more. Hearing Gibran's words, Sharah smiled mockingly, saying..

"Humm... not tasteful...? Though it was eating it to add-on, but said it was not tasteful? haha.. You are so funny, kid? Just look, the plate also stayed a little longer, too." said Sharah, laughing funny at Gibran's behavior.

"Hoo'uuh! Why is Grandma even ngetawain Yuda? Akh, stop! Yuda just go!" he said as he got up from his seat, and then he immediately stepped away, with a face that looked very upset, because of him, had been laughed at by his own Grandmother.

"When I came to ask you, about Ruko! Why did I leave before I asked?" muttered Gibran, as he patted his eel, "Aaah! Than curious!" he said again, as he turned his body, and again walked into his mansion Sharah. And he was just about to enter, all of a sudden..

"Aahs.. Grandma! Just be surprised!" jolt Gibran. So surprised, because it almost hit the Grandma, which looks he was also a little surprised.

"Why go back, son? Is there anything left?" tanya Sharah, who turned out she meant, Wanted out to see her granddaughter's departure.

"No Grandma! It's just that, Judah wanted to ask Grandma, "gibran replied, making Sharah immediately squint her forehead.

"That means? Then two first, so you can freely ask," said Sharah, as she sat, on the sofa in the living room. Seeing Grandma sitting down, Gibran finally sat down, on the sofa opposite Sharah.

"Now say, do you want to ask me what son?" sharah asked again, After he saw the grandson had sat comfortably.

"It's about Nek's shophouse! Is it true, Grandma has given the shophouse in front of the city park to the Embok sum-sum for free?" gibran asked with a curious looking face.

"Really! Why is it, son? Don't you mind if Grandma gives me one of those shophouses?" reply Syarah looks so calm and relaxed.

"Well..! How is it no problem, Grandma? That's a shophouse worth billions of dollars Nek! How easy is it for Grandma to give it for free? That's the same big loss, Grandma!" gibran said, with a face that looks not like the decision of the Grandmother.

"Losses? I will not lose my son if I do good. Because the teacher said to Grandma, God and his apostle ordered us to like to help others, meet their needs, hasten to help the difficulties they are facing. Which is all done for the sake of realizing togetherness, brotherhood, love, and affection among fellow Muslim brothers.

Allah azza wa jalla explained in one of his words:

“There is no good in most of their whispers, except the whispers of the one who tells (man) to give alms, or to do ma’ruf, or to make peace among men. and whosoever does so out of seeking the pleasure of Allah, We shall give him a great reward”. [an-Nisaa’/4: 114].

In another verse Allah tabaraka wa Ta’ala says:

 مَّن يَشۡفَعۡ شَفَٰعَةً حَسَنَةٗ يَكُن لَّهُۥ نَصِيبٞ مِّنۡهَاۖ

“Whoever gives a good shafa’at, surely he will get a part (merit) from him”. [an-Nisaa’/4: 85].

"Son, in a hadith also support the praiseworthy behavior of people who like to share, as the word of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇

From Ibn Umar's friend radhiyallahu ‘anhuma, that he said:

“Whoever covers the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs. Whoever prolongs the distress of a Muslim, Allah will lift him up for his trouble on the Day of Resurrection. And whosoever covers his brother's reproach, Allah will cover his disgrace on the Day of Resurrection. [Pbuhari No: 2442. Muslim number: 2580].

In the hadith, Prophet Muhammad Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam explained to us that what his name gives something useful to others is a very great worship charity. So where's the loss, son? It's so wonderful to share, son,"

Hearing the Sharah's explanation, obtained from his teacher, made Gibran speechless. Even he immediately got up and just left, without saying goodbye.

"Astaghfirullah's.. O Allah, give Thy Hidayah to the grandson of the servant, O Lord," cried Sharia as he stared at Gibran's departure.
