Vian stared at the bodyguard who had left where he and Jero were sitting. Vian stared at Jero with a piercing gaze directly into Jero's eyeballs. The eyes are dark brown and very sharp. Jero stared back at Vian with an almost equally sharp gaze. This pair of lovers stared back at each other, as if they did not care about the people passing in front of them.
