Hasna prepared a small plate and fork for herself to pick up a portion of the small cake that Fajri would cut.
Fajri smiled looking at him.
"What?"
Hasna is always upset if the person who looks at her then smiles like a laugh.
"You take the plate? is this for you?" said Fajri in a bitch.
Hasna grinned in annoyance. She doesn't care, she takes the cherry cake she really likes before Fajri cuts it off.
"If not for me then for whom? You don't like cherry cakes, do you?" hasna.
He ate the cake by staring one by one at the people around them. While talking, while being alert.
"Nobody's following me!" fajri said he knew what Hasna was thinking.
Hasna looked at.
"Then?" ask Hasna.
"Why cancel the meeting this afternoon? Is Mr Pratama's case enough for you?" ask Fajri who ate the food.
"My senior in charge of this case invited me to join. Your work is done!" hasna finished her last bribe.
Fajri was silent looking at Hasna's face.
"So I'm not needed anymore? then you're not gonna look for me anymore? Hey..don't do that! If I'm not needed, when are you gonna ask to see me?" said Fajri silly.
Hasna looked at him strangely.
"Hey.wouldn't I come here because you asked for it?" hasna.
"Because it's my birthday" said Fajri scowled like a child.
"Aishhh. I can hit you in the head with a stick if you suck like that!" threaten Hasna with a pinch on Fajri's cheek.
They then smile at each other and laugh. As they both fell silent and enjoyed the meal.
"Dad was so chatty, he asked you to make me upset to hear it. Hasna eat well? Is he living well? Didn't he forget his ulcer medicine? What like? What so? Ahhhh...sucks! I've never asked him that question" Fajri complained.
He said it all by imitating his father's style of speech. Hasna smiled laughing at him.
"I spoke to him yesterday, he told me to remind you" Hasna said.
Fajri fell silent rounding his eyes.
"What?"
"He told me to remind you of the wedding. He wants to hold a grandchild soon. You are so cruel!" hasna mocked him.
Fajri gawked feeling deceived by Hasna's words. He was upset at being reminded to get married. Then he became silent while playing the food with his fork.
"I'm waiting for a woman who's focused on her goal. I'll wait for him until he says he wants to be with me forever" Fajri said.
But when Fajri looked at him, Hasna was getting a call from Armand.
Fajri bit his teeth annoyed at Hasna who did not hear him. Hasna hung up the phone and looked at him.
"Hey..you're going to go see him?" ask Fajri annoyed.
"No. He asked me to get everything ready tomorrow at 8 a.m. It's night anyway, why am I meeting my senior this late?" obviously Hasna.
Fajri smiled then continued eating.
Some of the chats were mildly spoken, especially when talking about their togetherness for the past 10 years.
14-year-old Hasna, her father decided to hang himself in his room at the time. Fajri's father, a policeman named Agung Megantara, found him silent looking up at his father's corpse without expression.
Great tears when he saw it. She hugged Hasna who remained silent despite Agung trying to talk to her.
For almost a month Hasna kept quiet about not talking to anyone. His eyes were empty like lifeless.
Agung, who knew his father's struggle to survive, survived the guilt and shame of Hasna, knew how Hasna felt at the time.
One day Agung and Fajri took him on vacation to the beach. Hasna came along without comment even though she didn't really want to leave.
Fajri holds Hasna's hand and pulls her running to the shore. He suddenly took off Hasna's hand then shouted as loudly as he could.
Hasna looked at him, she was so stunned to see Fajri who so easily let go of the scream. Hasna started to feel tightness in her chest. His eyes and nose were very hot. A feeling he hadn't felt for a long time. The response from his heart that was starting to feel excruciating pain.
Hasna regrets the bad events in her life. If only then could he have shouted as loudly as Fajri did. Maybe he'll survive or die that day and not have to go through any of this.
Fajri stopped screaming and looked at Hasna with a smile. She was about to ask Hasna to do the same, shouting that all the tightness in her chest felt lighter.
But Fajri was silent when he saw Hasna's face flushed red, the clear in her eyelids became plentiful and dripped onto her cheeks. Her chest of fireworks seemed to want to blow out the sobs that she had been holding.
Hasna hugged her knees. He cried loudly and continued to sob. No words came out of her crying.
Fajri sat down and waited for him. It was the first time Hasna cried. Fajri can't do anything for him. He let Hasna cry until she was tired and silently looked at the sinking sun with her own eyes.
Since then, Hasna has changed quite a bit. There were no words spoken, but as if they understood each other, they did not ask about the pain Hasna felt and made her tell anything.
They were already quite happy to find Hasna could forget a little bit of her pain. Live a normal life like any other girl. School with Fajri, play and work.
They also choose the career level in accordance with what was taught by Agung. Fajri became the best investigator in the police force, while Hasna became the youngest lawyer in the public prosecutor's office.

Fajri looked at Hasna's smile which for tonight was very pretty.
They walked towards Hasna's house. On the way, there was no talk of the case being dealt with and about anything other than Hasna's time with Fajri and Agung.
"I'll go home to see my dad when it's all done" Hasna said.
Fajri.
"Who is the case?" ask Fajri.
Hasna looked at him then turned her gaze forward.
"See, it's just that I want to say that. I'll be home when it's all over. It feels very comfortable to say it" Hasna said.
"What do those looks and smiles mean?" ask Fajri.
Fajri pulled Hasna's hand until she stopped walking and looked at her.
"Can't you just forget about it and live an ordinary life?" fajri.
Fajri's gaze seemed to be begging Hasna not to make things worse.
Hasna sighed and took off Fajri's hand.
"I live my life usually a lawyer's life. Handling cases and defending what is right and what is wrong" Hasna returned expressionless.
Fajri pulled his hand back.
"You know that the answer to my question is not that" Fajri said.
Hasna took her eyes off Fajri's eyes which made her feel unable to answer his question.
Fajri thought, he understood that despite being able to live his new life, Hasna still could not forgive his past. He also understood that whether it was Fajri or Agung asking for it would make him silent and unable to answer.
Fajri still sees the awkwardness in Hasna's silence.
"I can't get anter until home, I'm going!" fajri said ending the conversation.
Hasna was relieved and started to be able to look at him. He nodded and looked at his departure. Looking at Fajri's wide back which has always protected him until now, until it disappears from his sight.
As Hasna turned around and was about to walk back, she was stunned again staring at the fence of her house that was in front of her.
She smiled remembering Fajri saying she couldn't take him home. Because Hasna was unfocused, she didn't realize that they had actually arrived.
"Can't drive you to what house? Did I ever let her into the house?" muttered Hasna while opening the fence and entering the house.
Hasna took off her cardigens and hung them behind the door of her room. He stared at the prize blazer Fajri gave him at his first paycheck. He smiled, rubbed it and recalled all the memories with him.
