THE PATH I CHOOSE

With the help of Doctor Theo, Rafael will go to the front row. Not what Doctor Theo said, but most importantly he will be transferred soon. Rafael hopes he can meet Mirelle.

He's going all out on Mirelle and will definitely bring the girl back. She doesn't want Mirelle to be in danger every day.

“So you're Doctor Rafael?” ask a doctor named Kevin.

“Ya, right. My name is Rafael.”

Doctor Kevin points to one of the tents, “There will be your tent.”

“Good, Doc. Thank you.”

Rafael stepped towards the tent. He will put his goods there and then directly return to the special tent paramedics.

As he exited the tent, he took the time to look around. Who knows if he could meet Mirelle.

“I'm already here, Elle. Where exactly are you?” Inner Raphael.

Rafael's been driving around camp for almost an hour. This frontline camp was indeed wider than the camp where it was placed before. It makes Rafael sure that he has not been down every corner of the camp.

“In a few hours we will leave for the top of the hill, Elle. I will let you sleep until the time comes,” said Xena.

“Thank you, Brother,” Mirelle continued his sleep. He was really sleepy and his body felt so tired. Sometimes, he remembered his comfortable bed in Kyler's House, but he immediately brushed it off because he did not want to be spoiled like he used to be.

Xena came out of the tent. Just like Mirelle, the woman was always dressed in black, not to forget also the glasses that always perched on her face. For some time Xena did not jump in missions like this, he worked more in secret.

“Rafael!” a female doctor named Alma, came to Rafael who was sitting in front of the tent.

“Raf!” Alma sat down beside Rafael and directly wrapped his hands around Rafael's upper arm. He even put his head on Rafael's shoulder.

“Lease, Al!” rafael said with a ketus.

“I miss you, Raf,” instead of letting go, Alma actually tightened his hand to Rafael.”'s arm

“Alma! Keep attitude!”

“Raf, why are you yelling at me? You know that I like you. I also know that you like me,” said Alma.

Just as Alma finished his sentence, two black-clothed men were carrying a backpack on the back and a long-barreled gun on the right shoulder, passing in front of Rafael and Alma.

“We are there now, Elle,” said Xena, “Lion and Snake are waiting for us.”

“Hmm ..”

Rafael who heard someone mention Elle's name immediately raised his head.

“Lease!” Rafael immediately threw Alma's hand until the woman almost fell.

“Raf!” Alma who was shocked immediately shouted, “Rafael!”

But that was totally ignored by Rafael. He stepped closer to Mirelle who was walking in front of him. Mirelle was wearing a backpack and also a long barrel gun on her left shoulder.

“What will it go again?” inner Raphael.

“Elle!” call Rafael who immediately grabbed Mirelle's wrist.

Mirelle turned her head and wanted to directly throw out Rafael's hand that was holding his wrist. It was fortunate that Mirelle recognized the voice, otherwise he would have slammed the man to the ground.

“Why is Rafael here?” mirelle stared intently at Rafael, although Rafael would not see him because Mirelle was wearing sunglasses, the same as Xena.

“Elle, you will go?” ask Rafael.

“You know her, Elle?” xena whispered in Mirelle's ear.

Mirelle nodded her head slowly and Xena left.

“I'll be waiting for you on location,” said Xena.

Mirelle sighed softly then took Rafael to a place where they could talk.

“What do you need, Doc?” ask Mirelle.

“Elle, you will continue like this to me?” ask Rafael.

Again Mirelle sighed softly. It seems like you can't keep doing this either. What exactly did this man in front of him want. Hadn't he been away from his life, as he had wanted.

“What do you want?” ask Mirelle. Mirelle opened her sunglasses and looked at Rafael.

Rafael's heart beat rapidly as he saw the radiance of Mirelle's bead. However, he did not see the love that once existed when Mirelle looked at him.

“We go home,” said Rafael who pulled Mirelle's hand.

“Come home if you want to go home, I'll stay here,” Mirelle said.

“Elle, don't do this for hating me. I'm sorry for everything I've done to you. Come back,” pinta Rafael.

Mirelle smiled faintly, “sorry, but I am not here because of you. I am here because of my will. You don't have to apologize because everything I did was my fault.”

“Error? Does he think loving me was a mistake?” inner Raphael. His feelings are getting mixed and do not understand what he is feeling right now.

“Your family needs you, Elle. Uncle Miles and Aunty Lea miss you so much,” said Rafael trying to persuade Mirelle.

“You don't have to worry about it, I contact them often. You better take care of yourself because your family needs you too. I have to go now, there is a job I have to do,” Mirelle said.

“Stop working like this, Elle. It's dangerous!” rafael said a little yelling as Mirelle got further away from her.

Yet Mirelle continued on without any desire to stop. Mirelle closed her eyes and sighed softly.
