Chapters 1. The boss is strange

Inside the quiet office room, the sound of Luna's delicate footsteps filled the room with light vibrations. Before him, a middle-aged man with a serious expression looked at him with sharp eyes. A stack of documents was placed neatly on an antique wooden table in front of them.

"Luna, from tomorrow you will be transferred to the headquarters!" he said firmly, his voice reflecting determination and authority.

Sunlight emitted light through the large window behind the man, illuminating half of his face.

The man raised his eyebrows carefully, as if aware of the feeling of his guidance. "Luna, I know about the news about our boss that's a bit strange," he said in a softer voice. "However, please consider this carefully."

Luna held her breath for a moment. He knew there was something different about the boss at headquarters, rumors said that the boss was a very cold, reclusive, unpredictable person the way his mind was. Because of that attitude, many employees resigned because they were fed up with the behavior of the boss.

The middle-aged man realized Luna's confusion. "It's time to face the unusual, Luna. But the decision is in your hands."

Luna looked out the window, watching the leaves swaying gently by the wind. He needed money to raise his family and sick mother.

Therefore, even though the boss was a jerk, Luna had to be strong.

"I accept the offer, sir," said Luna firmly. After much consideration, he finally decided.

A grin was drawn on the face of the swampy beak man. "That's just youth."

Luna walked out of the room, despite receiving an offer. But the worry about the boss' rumors was still in the heart.

"Eh, there's Luna." Luna turned to the right side and found an old mother who had been wrinkled was cleaning this corridor.

She is Miss Dewi, the janitor here, she is also Luna's confiding friend.

"What's Lun? Why did you go into Dika's room, did you get in trouble?" ask Bu Dewi worried, do not forget while cleaning the floor with a mop.

With steady steps, Luna stepped into the towering building. Each step of his created an echo in the luxurious corridor.

He pondered for a moment, eyes wide open in admiration. The building consists of three sturdy levels, with towering ceilings. Corridor spread very widely as if without end, accompanied by lights as lighting.

But even though it looks beautiful and magnificent, Luna did not see a single employee here. It was so quiet as if this was an empty building with no occupants.

"Is this day a holiday? It's so quiet." Luna glanced in all directions, there was no one other than her. "Excuse me, is there anyone?" his voice echoed, but there was no response.

Somehow the unpleasant feeling is now in Luna's heart, it is difficult to explain. But this place looks suspicious.

"Are you Miss Luna who moved here?" Luna lifted both shoulders. Surprised, he glanced back and got a woman wearing employee clothes with glasses depicting that she was a stern person.

The woman knocked on the door several times and was finally answered at the eighth knock by the figure inside.

"Come in." This was a very elegant and winning male voice, hearing the voice of course Luna knew she was Andre's boss.

The woman opened the door and Luna's eyes widened, seeing a handsome figure in her suit clothes sitting on a chair with a pile of documents.

She has neat dark black hair, high posture, and very calm black eyelids. Everything about the man was very soothing, even Luna was speechless looking at the man.

He's very handsome. Luna felt both of her cheeks heat up and her heart pounding every look at the man.

"What are you doing there? Sit down!" the voice quickly became firm.

Luna sighed, just now she was amazed but now her feelings changed as shouts echoed from the figure that might be her Boss.

"Good." Nervously, Luna walked over and sat down in front of her boss.

"Include me, my name is Luna, I moved from the branch office to the center. I hope we can be good partners." Luna gave a smile as good as she could, even though her heart was pounding for unknown reasons.

"So that's it." There was no special response from the Boss, he only stared for a few seconds. Then stand up from his seat, walk somewhere.

"Well, where are you going?"

"That's none of your business. little lamb." He walked away, no matter how big the words did not receive from Luna.

He actually left Luna alone. "What's wrong with him?!"
