PoV Karina Rossa's

I continued to improve my appearance while waiting for the elevator door to open. Today we will have a meeting together with my stepfather's company and I really can't wait to show and prove my abilities especially to my big-headed half-brother.

Ryan's company started work earlier this year in quite a big way, collaborating with one of the biggest companies in the USA.

I saw Ryan looking at me repeatedly. But he didn't say anything. Maybe he thought that I was nervous because I spent a lot of time preparing materials for this cooperation.

Ryan is really a really great boss, even better than his Papa. He let me learn with a big enough project by believing that I wouldn't screw up the project, and of course I wouldn't do that.

The elevator door finally opened and I had to face each other with my stepfather who instantly gave me a cold look.

"Mr Abraham, Miss Rossa we've been waiting." Said my step-father.

"I hope it's not too long." I said politely knowing that we arrived on time.

My stepfather gave me a smile full of question marks.

"Of course not, come here, Aldo is waiting." Reply to my stepfather.

I stopped walking and continued my steps. Aldo is the name of my last ex.

'Aldo Pratama, I hope he's not here.'

We walked through the white corridor and I saw my brother Andrew grinning at me. Most people give me happy smiles.

"Why do I feel like you know everyone here?" Ryan whispered accepted I made me jump in shock.

"No!" I said in a voice that said as if I really did not understand what Ryan had said to me.

Ryan gave me a question mark and shook his head and entered the small meeting room. The table in the room was made of glass. There were 2 people already sitting there, and of course it turned out to be my ex-lover.

Aldo waved his hand at me giving me that grin I didn't like. He really is a traitor.

"Let's get started." Said my step-father.

I want to leave the room as soon as the meeting is over. Ryan didn't follow me because he had to chat with my stepfather. I briefly saw Aldo and Andrew standing up and I hoped that they would not follow me.

I walked towards the mini bar quickly which was in the corner of that floor. The company does have a mini bar in every corner of its room.

"Give me lemon ice." Said I was tired.

"I am too." Said Aldo in a soft-sounding voice beside me.

"Mr Aldo, it's a surprise to meet you here." My words pleasantries.

"Miss Rossa, you're all grown up now." His words looked at my body with his sharp eyes.

I crossed my hand in front of my chest because the man's gaze was focused in that direction.

"What are you doing here?" I was upset with him and he seemed silent.

"I heard that Mr. Lucas is your Mama's new husband. Hmmmm. I hope you'll give me another drink so we can chat longer." Her speech.

I laughed out loud.

"All right look here." I said as I gave two more glasses of lemon ice in front of us.

"This drink I'll give you and you can take it for free. But I have a standard against people who can talk to me, okay." My speech.

"Rossa...." He tried to talk.

"Look, I would never date someone who doesn't appreciate the ability I have. So stay away from me." My speech.

"Am I bothering you?" Said Ryan who was suddenly behind me.
